Decommissioned Raleigh Police Livery

Description
This is a faithful recreation of a decommissioned police car that would have been used in Raleigh, North Carolina. This livery features uneven paint fade and visible sticker residue. It is available for the Salem Overking/Ford Crown Victoria.\

For colour matching the parts in-game if you want to play around with it:

Raleigh Blue:
Hue: 151
Saturation: 63
Brightness: 62

Silver on Bumpers:
Hue: N/A
Saturation: 0
Brightness: 73

This could be used to get rid of the intentional sticker fade mark or residue left behind - or make the trim match the rest of the car! Just paint the fenders, trunk, and hood the correct blue, and the doors white.

the old mondeo was sold in the us as the ford contour, and the new one is as the fusion. in america the ford contour svt was the sporty v6 one, and the new one was sold with an ecoboost v6 as the fusion sport. funnily enough, the ford fusion ended up being used as a police car too in some places. the ford sierra was also briefly sold here as the merkur xr4ti, merkur was ford's extremely short-lived european import brand, just for america, which is how we also got the scorpio

I wasn't sure but I knew that Ford have a quite a few differences between the UK and US market. Like you said though, it could be that the same designers were involved in both cars. Was the Sierra available in the US too then?
It's funny you mention a v6, when they stopped making the Sierra in UK, the Mondeo replaced it (not sure if it's available in US or not) and that actually has a v6 version, the ST series. The first model was called an ST24, named after the total amount of valves and later models are named after how much horsepower they have, the ST200 is 200hp etc (the numbers are rounded up). Various Mondeos have also used by police in England too.

to my knowledge, they are completely unrelated vehicles - but it's not unrealistic to assume the same designers worked on both of em. i would say the kieran is a solid mix of taurus/tempo/sierra, but for the sake of the argument, it would make sense to make a cop car out of one. i wish the developers would lean into it being more of a taurus, because that would give them the excuse to drop a peppy little v6 into it for a performance model, just for shits and gigs.

Thanks for the info, hope you get better soon. Funnily enough the Salem Kieran is also quite close to a car from the UK called a Ford Sierra and at one time (1990's) it was used by police in England (maybe elsewhere in the UK too). I'm not sure which car it is actually designed after but I was just looking at a few pics of an '89 Taurus (because the Salem Kieran says it's from '89) and it has quite a resemblance to the Sierra from the same year so I wonder if the Sierra was the UK's version of the Taurus, it's not uncommon for stuff like that to happen.

@ozoon i'll think about it, i've gotten covid and have been unable to do much for a while. the bolt cape mk7 is equivalent to the chevy impala ss - which is related to the chevy caprice, which was used as a cop car. though raleigh never used caprices to my knowledge. the salem kieran is close enough to a ford taurus/tempo, both of which were used as police cars when they were new. the salem earthquake would also work, as the f-150 is offered as a police interceptor in the united states. some places, raleigh included, use larger trucks like the ford superduty in the force. i'll think about all this while i'm gettin better

@ozoon That's just config's that need to have 5 screenshots (according to upload rules post).
@jettacar They both look great (this and the normal one). I especially like how you made the police lettering faded but could you do the same with the badge from the doors please?
P.s would you consider doing some more police sets (normal and decommissioned), like from a different state? or possibly the same liveries for a different car, if there are any suitable (I don't know much about US police cars sorry).
