Bypassing the 30 FPS Cap (outdated)

A quick guide on how to get better framerate in VVVVVV (outdated)

Introduction

Incase if you didnt know yet, VVVVVV has a framerate cap of 30 FPS. And, mostly you would notice or probably wouldnt care. But what if you have an Ultra Professional 360hz 8K Curved Gaming Monitor and the game is choppy as hell? Well, this guide shows how to bypass just that.

Step 1

Go to your library and find VVVVVV. Then, right-click on it and select "Properties".

Step 2

Once youre in there, find and click the Betas tab.

Step 3

In that menu, click the beta opt-in selector and choose "2.3-testing".

Step 4

After this, VVVVVV will update (dont worry, this takes a few seconds).
Once done, launch the game and voila!
