A Raiders Handbook

This guide contains

1. The cheapest ways to destroy the most common building parts using only explosives in Cheapest Raid.
   
2. The exact price of the required raiding tools in Price, i would suggest also using the rustlabs crafting calculator.[rustlabs.com]
   
3. A conversion of raiding tools to explosive ammo in Explo Conversion. Use this if you dont have the specified raiding tools but have others.
   
4. Documented explosive damage numbers in the Damage Table.

=========== Welcome ===========

If you have any raiding tips or find any mistakes made in this guide make sure to write them down in the comments. Keep in mind that rust keeps getting updates so this guide may become outdated.

=========== Tips/Notes ===========

There are cheaper ways of raiding wooden structures if you are useing a flamethrower, incendiary rockets or shooting at it with shotgun shells, but this is not the focus of this guide.

All Building Blocks get the same amount of damage aslong as it it a direct hit. So there is no difference in useing 2 half walls or 1 normal wall.

If you want to raid multiple Building Blocks at once use the explo converter to know how much rockets you need. Be sure to bring a bit more explo ammo, as you cant perfectly damage all walls equaly useing explosive ammo alternatively you can just use the GL to finish the walls off.

Explosives dont care about softside.

Open doors recieve less damage from explosive ammo.

The bottom half of an open ladder hatch recieves no damage from explosive ammo and recieves less damage from rockets.

The middle of the vertical embrasure recieves no damage from explosive ammo.

The Chainlink Fence recieves no damage from explosive ammo.

If you throw a C4 on terrain it will slide some distance and stick to the first thing it hits.

If a wall sticks trough a floor it can be only softsided from the bottom floor.

You can throw C4s / Satchels faster if you put them in two different Hotbar slots and swap between them instead of waiting for the throwing animation to end.
