Fastest and Easiest Ways To Earn Renown

-Basic Method-

Playing Training Grounds

This is the most basic and easiest method of earning renown that most players know. You can easily earn renown by playing Training Grounds for hours. However, our guide will provide you with the advanced version of this method. Let's start with the basics we need to know for earning renown:

SETTINGS

Options > General > Matchmaking Preferences -->

Game Mode Preferences - Training Grounds

Change these modes according to the methods we compare below

• Elimination ----> On
  
• Extract Hostage ----> On
  
• Other Options ----> Off

Although Elimination mode grants more renown, there is not much difference in gain between Extract Hostage mode

Basic Informations

• Entering the Training Grounds mode with multiple players will increase the renown you will earn at the end of the match by a minimum of x3 and a maximum of x4. Other players leaving the game does not reduce the renown that the only remaining player will gain in subsequent matches

• You need to pass 1 minute to earn renown in your matches after your first finish
  
  
  
  
  
• You can use operators with cooldown such as Lion or Finka to count 1 minute
  
  - If you use Lion, it will take 1 minute to use them one after the other after entering the building
  - If you use Finka, after you enter the building, use them one after the other and count 10 seconds yourself after they are all over, it will take 1 minute
  
  
• "Abilities have different usage timings from map to map, try and explore and apply the most suitable"
  "Be careful not to kill the last enemy before using the all abilities"
  
  
• It is important that you choose the spawn point closest to the building and the easiest to spread on the map as a team. You can choose "APC Area" on the House map.
  
  
• Your chosen difficulty adds up to maximum +10 renown on gain. So choose the normal difficulty

Comparison

Extract Hostage

• There are 4 hostage locations on each map and the hostage is always randomly in a different location
  
  
• After taking the hostage, all enemies go outside and start coming to the extraction point. So it is important to take the hostage at 1 minute
  
  
• After bring the hostage to point, you can leave it in the extraction point and escape from the firing line, no need to wait 5 seconds in the point with the hostage
  
  
• While trying to finish fast, there is a possibility that you die under fire. If this happens, it can double the time you will spend. You can use shield operators or devices like Smoke Grenade
  
  
• Personally; Waiting for 1 minute to fill up is boring after a while, so Elimination mode is more fun

FAVELA

• Average earnings: 81 renowns
  
• Minimum finishing time: 35 seconds
  
• Maximum finishing time: 1 minute
  
  
• Special Case: You can finish the mission very quickly, but when you do not exceed 1 minute, you cannot gain renown.
  
  The solution to this situation is to get the Hostage when the timer shows 40 or 45 after clearing the area around the hostage from enemies. You can reach the extraction point in a minimum of 15 seconds

TOWER (Not Recommended)

• Average earnings: 79 renowns
  
• Minimum finishing time: 45 seconds
  
• Maximum finishing time: 2 minutes
  
  
• Special Case: You can finish the mission very quickly, but if Hostage is on the 1st floor, the time can be doubled.

I will give small tips for our friends who want to play Tower:

• Start at the "South Roof" spawn point. If there is a red flare where the entrance is, then Hostage is on the 1st (lower) floor. If there is no red flare, it means hostage is on the 2nd (upper) floor. This is how you decide the entrance to be made through the outer windows
  
  
• At the end of the mission, a minimum of 3 enemies can come to the extraction point
  
  
• Hostage locations are given below:

1F Restaurant	1F Lounge

Upstairs Route

• If the Hostage is in "Offices" area, quickly take Hostage and exit the window you entered and finish the mission
  
• If the Hostage is not in the "Offices" area, continue from the room on the right side of the window you entered and reach the "Exhibits" area. Take the hostage, exit the elevator shaft and finish the mission

Downstairs Route

• If the Hostage is in "Restaurant" area, after cleaning the area a little, take Hostage and exit the window you entered and finish the mission
  
• If the Hostage is not in the "Restaurant" area, reach the "Lounge" area by outside the floor. Take the hostage and exit the closest window and finish the mission

Elimination

• Enemies have a special locations on each map. The number of enemies in a room and where they stand is exact
  
  
• The last 3 enemies will always push on you, you can wait for them to come to you
  
  
• Enemies can come from outside, specific to each map. At least 2 enemies come from outside in each match
  
  
• Your end-game score affects your earnings by 5-6 renown, so killing too many enemies causes you to earn more renown. As this creates competition when you play with the team, it can add some fun to the boring job

HOUSE

• Average earnings: 89 renown
  
• Minimum finish time (very rare): 45 seconds
  
• Maximum finishing time: 1 minute and 10 seconds

BORDER

• Average earnings: 83 renown
  
• Minimum finish time (very rare): 50 seconds
  
• Maximum finishing time: 1 minute and 5 seconds

★ADVANCED METHOD★

Using Renown Boosters

If you want more renown, you must use boosters. Do not grind renown without using a booster!

Effects:

• +100% (x2) Renown Bonus
  
• +10% (x1.1) Renown Bonus for teammates
  
• +50% (x1.5) Renown Bonus for a full team with active Boosters
  
  Max Gain: + 190% (x2.9) Renown Bonus

Cheapest way to get Boosters

• You can earn it from Battle Pass each season
  
  
• You can earn boosters through Ubisoft Connect. With the interface opened with:
  Shift + F2, you can get Boosters from the "Club Rewards" section
  
  1-Day Booster ----> Free
  3-Day Booster ----> 60 Uplay Units
  7-Day Booster ----> 140 Uplay Units

How to earn Uplay Units?

• Some Ubisoft made game has "Core and Weekly Challenges". You can access these Club Challenges from the interface opened with Shift + F2
  
• In exchange for doing Core Challenges you win:
  - Club XP
  
• In exchange for doing Weekly Challenges you win:
  - Club XP
  - Renown
  - Ingame Rewards and Battle Pass Points
  
  
• Rainbow Six Siege has 34 Core Challenges and you can win maximum 5000 Club XP

"VERY RARE" you can start earning 0 renown so check the result sometimes. To fix the problem: Go back to Main Menu and restart the match

• Each star you get in the situations gives you +200 renown. Completing a mission with 3 stars gets +600 renown. Finish each mission with 3 Stars
  
• Total Earnings: 6,000 Renown

3- Weekly Missions

• Complete Weekly missions

  Total Earnings in a Week: +1100 Renown

4- Playing Ranked

Playing in Ranked game mode gives you more renown than other game modes. However, if you are still can't play, please do not ruin other people's games and try Unranked

That's your method. You can play quick match if you want. Cause if you compare renown/time ratio, you see that makes the result as same as your T-hunt method. I suggest you to play quick match.

If you die in T-hunt you lose -80% renown, time lost. Also with your T-hunt method, you get -50% less renown than methods in this guide.

Unranked full of smurfs. So you will not learn how to play. Also this game have terrible matchmaking and put in teams hight levels and a beginners as an enemies.

I mean... You are right. But every player starts with 2500 MMR and not every player has that "Ranked" experience. But yeah they'll end up in low ranks.
