Microbus Mexico DF

This is a model based on a very common transportation vehicle used in Mexico City for at least two decades. A minibus or microbus, populary called simply "micro".

They appear in the 90s when the government declared the Ruta 100 bus line in bankrupt.

The classic green and light gray paint was unique for all the bus lines a.k.a. "Rutas" (routes), so it was necessary to know the route number or read the multiple cards on the windshield in order to reach your destination.

Another peculiarity of these vehicles were the multiple decals or labels painted all over the chassis with some funny phrases, and of course an agressive driving style, including races between buses, just to pick up more passengers and get more income.

This is my first attempt at vehicle modeling so I hope you like it.
