100% Achievement Guide

A comprehensive guide to the achievements.

Intro

Alright, the guide is in a workable state now. I might still work on it a little, and I'll keep it up to date with any developments as best I can, but for the time being...

Let's be real, this game isn't the most complicated to hunt for. The main thing you're here for is an exhaustive list of the items in the game, a checklist of sorts that can help you figure out what you're missing and where to get it. So that's what I've made this to be!

Let's just dive right in, shall we?

Story Achievements

For the sake of completion, we're starting out with the story achievements. These are unmissable.

Overcame Fear: Change
Defeat the boss of the first dungeon, on Floor 12. Can be a bit of a doozy if you don't have enough damage, looks to me like it flies off after attacking 3 times, so maybe it'll be easier if you ignore the minions as much as you can. Or level up a few times. Or both.

Overcame Fear: Intimacy
Defeat the boss of the second dungeon, on Floor 12. Three phases: getting rid of the 4 chains, hacking through walls of ice to reach the heart, and slashing at the heart directly to free it from the ice. Avoid getting trapped or standing in poison.

Summer's End
Defeat the final boss. First two phases are straightforward, it's the third that requires you to dodge bullets that decrease the shield's health bar, until it gets below a certain threshold that allows you to talk to Eric. Once Eric's taken down the shield you can do damage again.

Whipped into Shape
Defeat the boss of the third dungeon, on the 9th floor. If you have trouble with this fight I'll recommend using either Sawyer or Rowan, they make it a lot easier to land a hit. The lasers in the second phase cannot be dodged, seek cover behind the walls that pop up.

Weapon Achievements

I've listed where exactly you can find the weapons at their own max love rank achievement, which is probably all you're going to need, but let me give you a quick rundown of how love works. There are several ways of gaining love.

• Gifting something; Taye made a guide on that here. (Up to +75)
  
• Going down the stairs in a dungeon. (+15 in Mall, +25 in College, +30 in La Rosa)
  
• Hangout events in a dungeon. (+30)
  
• Bonus love when leaving a dungeon. (Calculated from the gained XP)
  
• Conversations with the chibis on the map. (+30)

Once you've maxed your first weapon they will give you a whetstone. This doubles the amount of love you gain, removes the cap between ranks, and ensures you get a gift opportunity at every event, which speeds up your progress significantly. This is where gifts are the most effective, as you can only give each gift once, and I highly recommend using them in this stage. Optimally, you could get +270 on a single floor!

Love rank requirements

• Rank 1: First date
  
• Rank 2: 95 love
  
• Rank 3: 150 love
  
• Rank 4: 175 love
  
• Rank 5: 200 love
  
• Rank 6: 225 love
  
• Max rank total: 845 love

Note that Isaac requires 100 love for rank 2, making his total 850 love.

Repartee
Find all 15 conversations between weapons. You can find these conversations on the map, where 2 weapons you've unlocked will have gathered at a location that you can interact with; you'll gain 30 love for both weapons when you do.

Full Weapon Cabinet
For this one you only have to unlock all 9 wieldable weapons, which means going on a date with them at love rank 0 to get to rank 1. Locations are listed below.


Polyamorous
Reach max love rank with all the wieldable weapons. Very straightforward, especially once you get the whetstone.

The Weapons

Isaac, Sharp Dresser
First weapon you encounter, he's on the first floor of Verona Mall and leads you through the tutorial. He'll send you a message, inviting you to Brooks Associates for his first date. Get him to rank 6 to unlock the achievement.

Sunder, Double-Edged
Hard to miss him either, he's also on the first floor of Verona Mall, you'll encounter him during the tutorial I'm sure. He texts you after you've seen Eric, for his first date in La Rosa. Get him to rank 6 to unlock the achievement.

Valeria, Heart Piercing
On Floor 2 in Verona Mall, can be encountered even on your first run if you manage to get past the challenge that is meant to knock you out. She'll invite you to the Park for her first date. Get her to rank 6 to unlock the achievement.

Seven, Recharged Batteries
You can find him on Floor 9 in Verona Mall. He texts you and you'll be able to go on your first date at Kicks Café. I wish I had more to say, but it's very straightforward. Get him to rank 6 to unlock the achievement.

Sawyer, At Arm's Reach
On Floor 12 in Verona Mall, after defeating the boss. They'll contact you to invite you to Kicks Café for your first date, and it's really just that simple. Get them to rank 6 to unlock the achievement.

Pocket, Out of the Bag
You can find him inside La Rosa on Floor 2. The owner contacts you pretty much immediately, and you'll be able to meet Pocket in the Park. Get him to rank 6 to unlock the achievement.

Leah, My First Crush
You can find her inside Verona College, on Semester 4. She'll text you to meet up at The Cutting Edge gym. Achievement unlocks at love rank 6 as usual.


Jonah, Random Axe of Kindness
You meet him at Jesse's BBQ, after which he will text you an invitation to the beach. Get to love rank 6 to unlock the achievement.


Rowan, Reap the Benefits
After you've gone through Jesse's BBQ you can find them in their Mansion, in the north of the map. Do something else and you'll get a paper slip. Do another thing to take a second crack at it: fill in the upright numbers 207 and you'll have their number, and access to their first date in the Mansion. As usual get them to rank 6 to unlock the achievement.

Dr. Holmes

They deserve their own section, seeing as they don't count towards the Polyamorous and Weapon Cabinet achievements like the other weapons. She does have her own achievements when it comes to meeting her and maxing her love rank, but unlike the others she doesn't want to be fought with, but rather be fought against! Generally the dates will give you enough love to move onto the next date, but if you're lacking some then it's time to go fight her again.

Morally Flexible
You'll meet them on Floor 9 in the Verona College dungeon. This unlocks after your Birthday event, S will text to meet up with you, which opens up the dunj.


A Cracking Good Time
You'll just have to go on a couple of dates with them, maybe fight them again a few times if you lack the love, either way she'll text you about it when she's ready. This used to unlock at love rank 5, but it appears they do have love rank 6 now; either way, this will unlock once the game tells you you've reached max love rank.

Specific Achievements

Thoughtful
Give a perfect gift. Taye made a guide for this. Easiest is probably giving the Bracelets to Valeria.


No Thanks
Have a gift rejected. You could find something in the previously linked guide, or you could give Sunder a Pepperoni Pizza as I did. I just wanted to make him happy :(


Wrecking Ball
You'll sometimes find shortcuts; in Verona Mall they are damaged security shutters or barred staircases; in La Rosa they are broken glass or cracked cabinets. If it looks cracked it's probably a shortcut. Attack to break it and enter.

Secret Shopper
To access the monster shop for the achievement you will have to buy either "???" from the Vending Machine in Verona Mall, or "Access" from the ATM in La Rosa. Both of these cost $5.00. Keep in mind you can only buy 1 thing per machine!

Multidimensional Explorer
To gain this achievement you'll have to find the shop in Verona College. You're looking for a room that has no portals with 2 crossed red swords; if you activate and beat this challenge, a portal to the shop will appear.

Killer Combo
Kill 5 enemies in 1 second or less. I got this on accident while playing with the scythe, so I recommend using that in a crowd, specifically the heavy finisher.


Expert Packing
This is the minigame in the credits, after you've defeated the final boss. It's basically a rhythm game where you need to use the directional keys when the luggage is inside of the allocated space entirely. You might need to get a combo to unlock this.

Flutterbuggiest
You'll have to get 1st place on all difficulties on the SNAZZ minigame. Best of luck, this might take some time. Best advice I've got is to take the inside of the turns as much as possible, avoid the walls and other bugs as it will make you slow down, and yeah. Git gud, basically 😅

Duct Tape
Craft something.



Hobbyist
Craft 10 recipes.



Artisan
Craft all recipes.



Retro Enthusiast
Craft the Racing Game recipe with 2 Plastic, 8 Liquid, and 3 Glass, this will unlock the SNAZZ console and the achievement. As far as I can tell you could run into this recipe at any time, I've found it in both dungeons.

Boyfriend Material

For this you need to gather (at least) 1 of each material. I've listed them below, with what I believe to be an exhaustive list of where you can get them. You should naturally get this achievement, but it doesn't hurt to know where you can get everything, especially when you need them to craft later.

• Sugar
  Drops in Verona Mall. 5 Sugar can be bought for $2.00 from the Vending Machine or $3.00 from Naked Steel, 10 Sugar can be bought for 2 Tape from the Ferry Docks or the Verona College shop.
  
• Wire
  Drops Verona Mall. Can be bought from Naked Steel or the Ferry Docks for $3.00 for 5 Wire, or for an Aether for 10 Wire in the Verona College shop.
  
• Plastic
  Drops in Verona Mall. Can be bought for 1 Fabric for 3 pieces from the Championne Athleisure shop or Naked Steel.
  
• Fabric
  Vaults from Verona Mall may drop this. Can be bought for $5.00 a piece from the Championne Athleisure shop.
  
• Liquid
  Drops in Verona Mall and La Rosa. Can be bought from the La Rosa ATM.
  
• Glass
  Drops in Verona Mall and La Rosa. Can be bought for 2 Plastic a piece from the Championne Athleisure shop.
  
• Glue
  Drops in La Rosa. Can be bought for $10.00 a piece from the Championne Athleisure shop, or traded in the La Rosa monster shop for 2 Steel a piece.
  
• Steel
  Drops in La Rosa. Can also be bought from the La Rosa monster shop for $10.00 a piece, or from Naked Steel for $20.00 a piece.
  
• Tape
  Drops in La Rosa and Verona College.
  
• Dark Essence
  Vaults in La Rosa may drop this. Can be bought in El Granero for $100.00 a piece, or traded for in the La Rosa monster shop with either 5 Glass or 10 Liquid.
  
• Holy Energy
  Vaults in La Rosa may drop this. Can be bought in El Granero for $50.00 a piece, or traded for in the La Rosa monster shop with either 5 Steel or 2 Dark Essence.
  
• Aether
  Vaults in Verona College may drop this.

And finally, the recipes of the game, and where to find them! Or, well, I would, but the truth is that there isn't any need for it. If you're missing a recipe, unless it's the Phoenix Cap, you can simply farm the La Rosa and Verona College bosses to get it.

From what I can tell, not every recipe is available in every dungeon; both La Rosa and Verona College have some exclusive recipes you'll have to grind for separately. I find the best course of action is to grind out the College boss until you get only Aether, and then move to farming the La Rosa boss. Finding shortcuts can be helpful during your casual playthrough as they are guaranteed to have a vault, but it's not required to get all the recipes.

Hey guys, I don't want to steal any attention from this guide but if anyone wants to fix the bug with their Gift achievement I just figured out a way that worked for me. Ah, "It's just about unlocking them." that's the confusing part, isn't it? My bad! By that I meant that you have to own every gift at some point and that they still count if you've used them, so yes, you do gotta buy them!

Looks like Flutterbuggiest is the hidden achievement, I couldn't even tell there was one anymore. Steam lets you check what the hidden achievements are though, if you click on them it will reveal it ;)

Argh no... I can't see them, I can only see the NetTV Subscription and the other elements are represented by : the logo of the anime outfit that I can buy with 10 drops. But it's written that I already bought them. I think it's a bug but it's weird because I uninstalled and reinstalled the game + start another game but I can never see the other items in the shop
