Luna One

Description
Premise:
Follow-up to Archer. After crash-landing what's left of the EDS Archer at Polaris Spaceport Duke's mission becomes a race against time to reach and disable the Luna One reactor on the other side of the city, before the aliens can use it to power their orbital cannon.

Primary Objective:
Fight through Polaris City to the reactor at Luna One and disable it by any means necessary.

Secondary Objective:
Eliminate the Cycloid Emperor.

Level 5 of 5.

When I first created Bank Job, I wasn't sure if I'd ever finish my planned episode as I had no idea there was still such an active DN3D community. It's thanks to each of you that have downloaded and played my maps and the fantastic feedback you've given, that this finale is being released. Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it! When I was creating this one, I was conscious of adding too much early on as I didn't want to hit the engine wall / sector limits (I did that in Penthouse!), although the crowded, busy feel is actually deliberate; I figured space would be at a premium in that environment, so places and people would be crammed together somewhat.

Having played this map a few times now I do like the placement of aliens and ammo/weapons in the game. The balance is just right to make it hard but beatable. For me the city could have had more areas to explore as it does feel a little cramped. I find some of the areas to dark as well, but overall this is an excellent map and one I will enjoy playing again and again.
