Steam Deck

Description

The Steam Deck arrives to Game Dev Tycoon! This mod adds Valve's next generation handheld to the game as a hardware platform. The system launches in the beginning of Y30 (in fast-paced mode) and is fully compatible with AAA games. Similarly to PC, there are no licensing fees and the development cost for the platform is just 5K. Due to a lack of real-world sales data, I have set the Steam Deck to launch with a market share of 8.8%, between the OYA and mBox One as of Y30. As no successor yet exists, the Steam Deck will remain on the market far past the end of the game and into Y200.

Located above is a chart detailing the in-game properties of the Steam Deck. Feel free to use the chart as a guide for the game. I chose to weigh the various genres and target audiences based on the PC's weighing as well as how I thought most people would use their Steam Decks in the future.

A Portuguese version of the mod, translated by Migué, is available for download here!

Just a suggestion to avoid copyright problems, could have called the Steam Deck any other name, example Misty Pad or Ghost Box.

This mod clearly violates the Modding Agreement included with the API...
