What is Suppression?
Suppression is like a mental health / morale bar that dictates your resistance to CC. The higher your suppression, the more resistant you are to debuffs. The lower it is, you can be hit hard by CC like Stun and Knockdown.

On your character, you can find the suppression bar surrounding your HP, on the lower left corner of your screen. Enemies will have a bar below their HP which acts as both their armour and suppression.

The table below shows the colour of suppression and its rough percentage.

What CC am I vulnerable to when I drop suppression thresholds?
When you drop to a certain suppression state, you will be vulnerable to certain types of CC.

DoTs
Damage over Time (DoT), is an effect that deals a particular type (element) of damage over a period of time. This is 80% of your Base Damage per second, for 3 seconds, and stacks up to 5 times. For example, Physical Damage equal to 80% of Base Damage, heat Damage equal to 80% of Base Damage etc.

Vulnerability
Vulnerability can be applied to each element (Physical, Warp, Heat) and they stack separately. Each stack applies +10% damage for that element for 5 seconds and can stack up to 10x.
States
Certain states can be entered by gaining tokens. Others can be applied through skills and enchantments.

The following states can be entered though gaining a token (e.g. Enraged Token). Whilst you have a token, you are considered to be in that state. For example, 1x Enraged token means you are in an Enraged state. You can only obtain tokens through item effects. For example, +1 Enrage token on Crit, % chance to get Enrage token on Kill.

Token Consumption
Enraged
You gain an 8% damage bonus for every Enraged token. The maximum cap for Enraged tokens is 20 (a total of +160% damage bonus).
Each attack consumes a token.
Berserk
You gain a 5 suppression per second, 0.35% movement speed bonus per active token, and +2% damage per active token.
A token is consumed every second.

Other states don't require tokens and can be applied through item effects.

State
Effect
Feared
While Fear lasts, enemies lose 20% of their maximum Suppression value and have their Damage decreased by 20%. Lasts 5 seconds.
Focused
While Focused, the player gains a 50% bonus for HP and Suppression regeneration.

State
Effect
Exposed
Lasts while the player is below 25% total HP.
Armour
Some enemies have Armour, which can be seen when targeting an enemy, under their name. Visually, they usually look robotic or metallic. Armour decreases the amount of damage you deal, but certain weapons can change the effect of that.

Armor Breaking
Ignores 50% of armor.
Armor Piercing
Completely ignores armor.
Fleshbane
+30% damage against unarmoured targets.
Strong vs Armoured

I haven't played this game in over a year, but I remember it was quite obvious. IIRC there's a buff bar on the bottom right corner? It might be there.

How do you know how many berserk or enraged tokens you have?

Weak vs Armoured shouldn't be -30% damage against armoured targets?
