"Origin and History of Titans:"
Titans (怪獣 Kaijū, lit. Monsters) are ancient gigantic creatures studied by the scientific organization known as Monarch. While Monarch initially designates any such creatures it studies as Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms, once they are formally identified they are then classified as Titans and given a scientific name under the genus Titanus.
Although Titans come in many forms, most if not all sustain themselves on radiation and emit a form of radiation that has restorative effects on ecosystems. Titans are said to have thrived in the planet's ancient past when the Earth's surface was much more radioactive than it is now, and retreated underground and entered states of dormancy as this radiation declined. Many Titans respond to an "alpha," a Titan which has cemented itself as the strongest of the creatures, typically by defeating the previous alpha. By 2019, Monarch had discovered nineteen Titans across the globe, the majority of which were found in a state of deep hibernation.Containment and research Outposts were typically constructed around these dormant Titans. Monarch also discovered evidence that Titans and humans coexisted in ancient times, with the Titans worshiped as gods and serving as inspiration for many mythological monsters. For this reason, most Titans are named after mythological beings from around the world which they may have inspired in the first place. The dormant Titans were then awakened by the extraterrestrial King Ghidorah, who established himself as the alpha Titan until he was killed by Godzilla. Under Godzilla's rule, the Titans returned to their natural habitats, healing the damage to ecosystems caused by human activity, while Godzilla himself prevented them from attacking human cities. Many Titans also began to converge on Skull Island for reasons yet to be determined. Before the events of 2024, Godzilla called all but Kong to rest to prevent them from falling to Ghidorah's "spell," after sensing his skull being utilized for Apex Cybernetics' anti-Titan weapon, Mechagodzilla.
While Titans can be incredibly destructive and dangerous, Monarch believes some of them to be benevolent and a part of the planet's natural ecosystem. Such Titans are typically classified as "protectors," and include the likes of Godzilla, Kong, and Mothra. Other more malevolent Titans are classified as "destroyers," such as King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Scylla.

"War of Titans":
Millions of years ago, the Titans were numerous different super-species that dwelled in the Hollow Earth or thrived in Earth's prehistoric ecosystems, with some going as far back as the Permian Period. Some Titans had even established rivalries with each other. The most notable being with Godzilla, the MUTOs, King Ghidorah, Kong, and the Skull Crawlers.
Kong's species engaged in a war with that of Godzilla's species. Most notably, one of Kong's kind was able to craft an axe with the dorsal plates of one of Godzilla's kind. This axe would later be used by Kong, who is the last known member of his species and the former King of Skull Island.
Soon after, Kong's species emerged on Skull Island, which they ruled for a long time. However, the rivalry with Kong's species and the Skull Crawlers occurred for centuries, with massive casualties on both sides. However Kong's species became endangered until only Kong himself remained as the sole survivor, as his parents were killed by Ramarak: the alpha Skull Crawler.
The rivalry with Godzilla and the MUTOs also caused his species to become critically endangered until only Dagon and Godzilla were left (though the former was killed by a MUTO Prime). The MUTOs themselves were nearly wiped out until MUTO Prime killed Dagon to give birth to two more MUTOs that would be born in centuries later in 2014.
●"Titanus Gojira"(Godzilla):
In "Godzilla 2014" and "Aftershock" :While being the most powerful of it kind,Godzilla is now expased to more radiation sources than at any tile in history. This would later enable him to grow to greater heights and evolve in corporal build and abilities to better cope with adversaries in the future.
In "Godzilla:king of the monsters 2019":Godzilla returns bigger and stronger than ever due to higher radiation levels whichinstigate faster evolution. Thanks to its atomic breath, sheer mass, strength, and symbiotic relatianship with Titanus Mosura,Godzilla crowned himself King of the mosnters after defeating Ghidorah.
Following 2019's monstrous clash, Godzilla met and faced off against Kong before they ended up combating and teaming up against Mechagodzilla in the 2021 film:"Godzilla vs. Kong".

●"Titanus Mosura"(Mothra):
Mothra is in a lineage of giant, ancient moths who were worshiped as benevolent deities in the ancient past. According to Monarch, Mothra appears in ancient folklore and fairy tales from across the world.[3] One painting depicts Mothra and Godzilla surrounded by human warriors locked in battle against King Ghidorah, suggesting that she fought alongside Godzilla against King Ghidorah in the ancient past. In 2009, Monarch discovered Mothra's egg in a temple dedicated to her in China's Yunnan rainforest, the "Temple of the Moth."
●"Titanus Rodan"(Fire Demon):
According to Mike Dougherty, Rodan was born at the Isla de Mara volcano after his parents nested there.[16] Rodan's origins are unclear, but he is extremely old, and depicted in ancient cave paintings. Similar paintings exist of Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah, suggesting Rodan either appeared alongside them in the past or is prophesied to appear alongside them in the future. According to Monarch, Rodan is spoken of in legends, with his name referenced within many ancient temples in volcanically active regions. In 1991, Rodan was discovered by Monarch in pyrostasis in the magma inside the Isla de Mara volcano in Mexico. Monarch notes that Rodan's body structure resembles that of Pteranodon, although he is far larger.
●"King Ghidorah"(The one who is many):
According to Dr. Ilene Chen, Ghidorah is an ancient creature who was feared by many ancient cultures and was said to have been a "dragon who fell from the stars", suggesting that he is of extraterrestrial origin. Judging by his appearance in ancient cave paintings, he has invaded Earth sometime in the past, and clashed with Godzilla and Mothra. He was eventually defeated by Godzilla in Antarctica and sealed beneath the ice.[21] He was discovered buried under ice in modern-day Antarctica before 2014 by a Monarch team headed by Vivienne Graham. The massive wall of ice surrounding Ghidorah was dubbed the "Wall of Serpents." Monarch links King Ghidorah to mythical creatures such as the Hydra and the Rainbow Serpent, and describes him as a "living extinction event."

●"Titanus Kong"(King Kong):
Being born in the midst battle, this infant titan learned to survive in the most dangerous biome in earth's history:Skull Island. This specimen would later grow to be one of the most powerful titans in the Monstervers.
During the events of 1973,Kong fought his way to the top of food chain in Skull Island.Note that during this time period,Kong is still considered a teenager and not fully grow despite his massive size.
During 1995,an expedition led by Aaron Brooks encountered an older and more matured Kong.At this point Kong making him the most mowerful creature of Skull Island.
By 2021 Kong would have grown to sizes larger than any member of its kind.Although its specific size is still unknown, it is estimated that Kong will be slightly Shorter than Godzilla.Kong's best abilities are immense strength and high intelligence.Kong and Godzilla acknowledged each other after working together againts True enemy:"Mechagodzilla".Kong made his permanent home in the Hollow Earth.

●"Titanus Muto"(Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism):
The MUTOs are ancient parasites that come from the same era and ecosystem as Godzilla. Much like him, the MUTOs feed off of radiation. However, unlike the surviving Godzilla, who adapted to live at the bottom of the ocean and feed off the planet's natural radiation, the MUTOs are actively drawn to sources of man-made radiation such as nuclear warheads and energy plants.
As revealed in Godzilla: Aftershock, the official graphic novel prequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the MUTOs are the offspring of a Titan dubbed MUTO Prime. MUTO Prime infected a member of Godzilla's species, known to the ancients as Dagon and designated Species 5146_Adam by Monarch, with its parasitic eggs which implanted into its stomach lining and broke down the hemoglobin in its blood to feed on the nuclear radiation. After the host died due to being unable to replenish its nuclear energy, the spores continued to grow within its carcass, which was eventually buried deep within an underground cavern in the Philippines. When a mining company unwittingly unearthed the skeleton in 1999, the male's spore hatched and it burrowed to Janjira in its larval state in search of nuclear energy, while the female's spore remained dormant until the male matured. This means that in addition to being mates, the two MUTOs are also brother and sister. There were four MUTO specimens in the Monsterverse:"The Male", "Female", "Queen" and "Prime".

"The Male":
Being the only Muto specimen that can fly,the male Muto is considered of the most agile and agressive of its kind.It is capable of diversfying its attacks and equipped with a disruptive electromagnetic pulse.
"The Female":
Being much larger than its male counterpart, the female muto can inflict much heavier but slower attacks to an oppnent. This parasitic titan seeks to find radiation sources to power its nest and will stop at nothing to achieve this.
"The Queen":
Although very little is known about this Muto,it is evident that this Muto was much older than the others MUTOs seen in 2014.As time went by,this female MUTO would have grown additional dorsal ridges to convey a matriarchal status among the MUTO species.
"Titanus Jinshin-Mushi":
Also known as Muto Prime, this MUTO specimen is specifically built by evolution to counter Godzilla species.Capable of causing earthquakes and even manipulating tectonic plates. This MUTO is also known as the titan responsible for killing "Dagon"
●"Titanus Skullcrawler":
According to Hank Marlow, Skullcrawlers terrorized Skull Island for thousands of years, forcing the native Iwi tribe to build a huge wall outside of their village to keep them out. To the Iwis' surprise, the giant apes that they once feared began fighting the Skullcrawlers, eventually driving them all underground. The Skullcrawlers remained primarily underground until the seismic charges dropped by the Monarch expedition to the island in 1973 began drawing them back to the surface.
The novelization of Godzilla vs. Kong states that the Skullcrawlers evolved from a lineage of non-amniote basal reptilomorphs that possibly originated from the Hollow Earth.

●"Titanus Shinomura":
This controversial monster is a supercolony of radioactive cells that form into a flying dragon-like creature. Its innuemerable amount of cells allow it to change form, size, add appendages, and even duplicate itself and merge again.

●"Titanus Camazotz":
A cult worshiping Camazotz began among the Zapotec tribe of Oaxaca, Mexico, and the figure was later adopted into the pantheon of the Maya Quiche tribe. Legends of Camazotz were spoken of in Maya literature. Camazotz and bats in general were associated with night, death, and sacrifice, due to bats inhabiting the caves around the sacred cenotes which the Mesoamericans believed were portals to the underworld. The ancient Mayans recorded warnings of Camazotz, who is very much real and has terrorized mankind since the dawn of time. He has been rendered blind from dwelling for millennia in the deepest and darkest caverns of the Hollow Earth.
●"Titanus Abaddon":
Abaddon resided beneath Devils Towerin Wyoming, In nod to the 1977 film "Close Encounters of the third kind",its name come from 'angel of bottomless pit' leads an army of locusts in the Christian Bable's Book of Revelations.
●"Titanus Amhuluk":
Amhuluk, named after a horned water monster from Kalapuyan folklore, had his resting place marked as the Manpupuner rock formations in Russia's Komi Republic.
●"Titanus Baphomet":
Baphomet hails from Volubilis, an ancient Berber city near Meknes, Morocco. Its name is an Old French misspelling of Muhammad, famously invoked by King Philip IV as a god worshipped by the Knights Templar. The goat-headed fellow came later.
●"Titanus Behemoth":
Behemoth, named after a monster from the Hebrew Bible, emerged near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and quickly set to work destroying the city. He has a sloth-like body, although some concepts were closer to a woolly mammoth. After King Ghidorah's defeat, he used his unique radiation to regrow the Amazon rainforest. In the novelization, a Monarch agent named Mariko sabotaged her organization's efforts to kill him, believing him to be "the most interesting Titan." That turned out to be an apt description, given the wild applause he received at the G-Fest screening of "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" and YMSF's efforts to produce a six-inch figure of him. Since most Toho kaiju resemble reptiles or insects, Dougherty wanted another mammalian Titan to complement Kong.
●"Titanus Bunyip":
Bunyip's point of origin was Uluru, also called Ayers Rock, in Australia's Northern Territory. It's named after a swamp monster from Australian Aboriginal mythology.
●"Titanus Kraken":
In the "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" novelization, an unnamed Monarch outpost was built around an octopus-like Titan in the Indian Ocean with "a dense, curving cone of shell" protecting his head. The agents there nicknamed him Kraken, after a sea monster from Norse mythology. He had multiple brains and hearts, could change his color and pattern at will, and could likely regenerate any part of his body. Upon hearing King Ghidorah's call, he tricked Monarch's containment field into thinking he was dead before launching a surprise attack, sinking the outpost.
●"Titanus Leviathan":
Leviathan, named after Behemoth's aquatic counterpart in the Hebrew Bible, lurked in Loch Ness, Scotland. I guess just calling it "Nessie" would have been too on-the-nose.
●"Titanus Margygr":
Margygr is the other novelization-exclusive Titan. Monarch found her remains in the Arctic, clearly the loser of a fight with another Titan, and transported her to Castle Bravo for study. Her name comes from a type of mermaid described in the Norwegian educational text "The King's Mirror," written around 1250. This photo from "The Art of Godzilla: King of the Monsters" closely matches her description in the book, making her only the third monster to be created for a Godzilla film, rejected, and then turn up somewhere else.

●"Titanus Methuselah":
Methuselah appeared to be a simple mountain outside Munich, Germany, until he heard King Ghidorah's call. He's named after a Biblical figure said to have lived until the ripe old age of 969. Concept art posted by Xu Tianhua to ArtStation offered several different takes on this Titan, some of them leaning closer to rhinos or bulls. DNEG visual effects supervisor Brian Connor cited Methuselah's awakening as an especially difficult scene, incorporating birds, dust, trees, and debris that had to fall just right to reveal the Titan's face.
●"Titanus Mokele-Mbembe":
All we know about Mokele-Mbembe in the movie is that he's named after a sauropod-like cryptid said to live in the Congo and is located in Jebel Barkal, Sudan. You can also just seem to glimpse him as he breaks out of Monarch Outpost 75. The novelization expands his role significantly and describes him as having "four thick legs," "a massive, snake-like tail," a curved horn on his head "pulsing with a very faint green light," a head that looks "something like an earless elephant, except that its tusks turned down, rather than up," and a mouth that "open[s] like a crocodile's, revealing thousands of teeth." His body is grey and pebbled. When battling Monarch and the Egyptian army, he used his trunk and tail as weapons.
●"Titanus Quetzalcoatl":
Quetzalcoatl's home was Macchu Pichu, an ancient Incan citadel in Peru. Its name, which comes from a Mesoamerican feathered serpent god, is shared with a monster from "Godzilla: The Series."
●"Titanus Scylla":
Scylla burst out of an oil field in the Arizona desert, likely a reference to the 1955 film "Tarantula," and perhaps "Godzilla: Final Wars" as well. From there, she attacked the state capitol, Phoenix. A news article at the end of the film reports on her cooling the Arctic—how, we're not sure—while another establishes her as the same Scylla described by Greek mythology. Her design is a mixture of spider, crab, ammonite, and Cthulhu.
●"Titanus Seckhmet":
Sekhmet came from Cairo, Egypt, named after the goddess of war and healing from Egyptian mythology.
●"Titanus Tiamat":
Tiamat inhabited Stone Mountain in Georgia. It's named after a Babylonian salt sea goddess.
●"Titanus Typhoon":
Typhon is from Angkor Wat, Cambodia, named after the "father of monsters" from Greek mythology. The mythical Typhon's children include Scylla, although there is no known connection between the two Titans themselves.
●"Titanus Yamata no Orochi":
Yamata no Orochi, named after a serpent from Japanese mythology, lived in a place familiar to any kaiju fan: Mt. Fuji. Orochi has a long history in kaiju media, appearing in the Toho films "The Three Treasures" and "Orochi, the Eight-Headed Dragon." "GMK" also presents King Ghidorah as a juvenile Orochi.
●"Titanus Warbat"(Nazuki):
Like all Titans, the origins and background of the Warbats is mysterious and vague. However, they seemingly evolved within the Hollow Earth, growing to their massive proportions due to the energy sustaining the creatures inside the subterranean ecosystem.
●"Mechagodzilla":
Mechagodzilla is a cybernetic Titan that was created by Apex Cybernetics in secret to destroy Godzilla and end the reign of Titans. At some point during the five years after Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah, Apex had purchased Ghidorah's skull from Alan Jonah and connected its neural networks to Mechagodzilla.[21] Bernie Hayes theorizes that Apex Cybernetics placed a second Ghidorah skull inside Mechagodzilla to take full advantage of the Titan's telepathic abilities, while the film's novelization shows Walter Simmons purchasing two skulls from Jonah. Neither version of the story explains the origin of the second skull.
