Part 1: Command Attacks (Z and X)
For starters, let's start with his basic command attacks.

Z – Z – Z – Z: A standard 3 hit sword swing combo with the last part being Ain lifting a tiny ball of magic and popping it to end the combo. As the ball is being lifted, so will the opponent being hit. Ain swings wildly during this sequence, enough to even hit opponents directly behind him.

Z – Z – X – X: A 2 swing sword combo that transitions into Ain stabbing the enemy with the first X and pulling them back into him with the second X.

Z – Z – Z – X: A 3 swing sword combo that has Ain finish it by opening a portal in front of him that constantly spawns tiny daggers that fly out of it. You can hold the final X to make it last longer and Ain will have super armor as the portal remains there. Useful for triggering enchantment effects.

X – X – X – X: Ain fires magic balls out of his hands to assault the enemy from a distance. Each individual ball of magic inflicts an “El Dain Stack” on the enemy it hits. If the enemy has 3 stacks, which is represented by 3 greenish white balls circulating their body, the final X will unleash a multi hitting magic circle that traps them in place for a few seconds while also eating up all of the “El Dain” stacks. If you hold up by the time Ain lands the final X, he will instead do a wind blast that inflicts a weak bleed debuff, holding down by the final X will have him do an ice blast that does a weak slowing debuff, and holding in the opposite direction he's facing will have Ain perform a fire blast that inflicts a weak burning debuff.

NOTE: For the fire blast, you will have to hold in the opposite direction BETWEEN THE THIRD AND FOURTH X. Unlike the Wind and Ice variant, holding backwards throughout the sequence will just have Ain turn around mid combo.

(While Dashing) Z – Z – Z: Ain swings once at the enemy, phases through them while doing another sword swing, and slams the sword on the ground which lifts them slightly into the air.

(While Dashing) X: Ain teleports a pretty far distance forward, and turns around to launch a spear back at where he was. Knocks down whoever it hits.

(While Airborne) Z: Ain stomps downwards very quickly, hitting whoever is on either side of him.

(While Airborne) X: Ain charges a bullet of magic that does more damage the longer you hold it. Releasing the button shoots the bullet forward straight ahead of him. Does a single stack of “El Dain” upon hitting.

(While doing an aerial dash) Z – Z – Z: Ain does 3 sword swings in the air. The first swing launches opponents, the second swing does normal hit stun, and the final swing knocks enemies down.

(While doing an aerial dash) X – X – X: Ain chucks 3 spears at an diagonal angle downwards. These are considered to be physical projectiles and therefore can't be absorbed or reflected.

(While Knocked Down) Z OR X: Ain swings a sword around his body as he gets up, knocking down whoever he hits. This animation has a few seconds of invincibility.

(While Airborne) Holding upwards while in the air will have Ain slowly glide downwards in exchange for consuming MP. The longer you glide, the more rapidly you'll consume MP. While gliding, you can move to the left or right. Also, Ain has a taller jump height than every other character, and his descent is slower as well. In general, he just has floatier physics compared to other characters.

(While Gliding) Inputting a dash in either direction while gliding will have Ain do a quick air jump. You can only do a single air jump by default.
Part 2: Ain's Special Ability, the POWER SYSTEM.
Like every other character in Elsword, Ain has his own unique system which is referred to as the “Power System”, which can be best described as a mini stance change. While attacking, you will fill up a gauge under your MP bar. Once this gauge fills to the max, you will automatically activate the Power System with no input required.

By default, the Power System starts on “Creation Mode”, but you can switch it to “Cycle Mode” upon hitting the [V] key on your keyboard. Switching between the two has a cool down of 3 seconds, and you can't do it while being attacked or while knocked down.

CREATION MODE

When “Creation Mode” is activated, you will notice that Ain has blue lines surrounding him and that every attack you land has a blue afterimage that does extra damage. This is Ain creating “phantoms” of himself and various angelic weapons that increases your damage output tremendously. “Phantoms” created by using command attacks DO NOT have any hit-stun, but using a special active will produce 3 homing bullets that DOES deal hit-stun, but only once after every 5 seconds.

When “Creation Mode” is active, the gauge drains only by landing attacks.

CYCLE MODE

When “Cycle Mode” is active, you will notice a green ring surrounding Ain. When active, “Cycle Mode” will provide you multiple buffs.

The buffs granted are

1. MP cost and Cool down of all of your skills are reduced by 10%.
2. Your critical hit rate, maximization rate, additional damage stat, and damage reduction stat are all increased by 15%.
3. Attack Speed, Movement Speed, and Jump speed are all increased by 15%.
4. MP Gain upon attacking and being attacked, and Awakening Charge Speed are increased by 20%.
5. Awakening duration is increased by 16%.
6. Can perform multiple air jumps in exchange for consuming a portion of the gauge.

Unlike “Creation Mode”, “Cycle Mode” drains the gauge slowly over time. If you find yourself in a situation where "Cycle Mode" isn't doing anything of value, you can simply switch to "Creation Mode" to avoid having the gauge run out needlessly.
Part 3: Spiritualism
Unlike most other characters in Elsword, Ain only has a single awakening bead instead of the usual 3. Upon “Awakening”, Ain's appearance changes drastically and he can awaken again while already in “Awakening” to further increase his stats and alter his appearance up to a maximum of 3 times. “Re-Awakening” will reset the duration of this state to 30 seconds every time he does so.
Part 4: Actives and Special Actives (God's Agent)

[Abschluss – Active] Ain constructs a protective bubble around him that grants him invincibility. Holding the button keeps the bubble up to a maximum of 5 seconds with each additional second consuming 5 MP. Enemies who make contact with your bubble are pushed away, but not damaged.

Opinion: Slightly useful in both PvE and PvP if you need to avoid incoming powerful attacks. It has a ton of endlag once it ends, so competent opponents in PvP will just wait for it to run out. You can use it in boss fights if you struggle with avoiding attacks, but that more or less makes it a crutch.

[Explosion – Special Active – Chant Skill] Ain points his finger at the nearest enemy in front of him and constructs a magical circle that sucks in opponents and deals damage. Holding the button has him make the circle larger and more elaborate in exchange for consuming additional MP.

Opinion: Somewhat useful in early game PvE if you need to stay invincible for a long period of time while also dealing damage, but it loses that value in the endgame as the damage it deals is very mediocre. Incredibly useless in PvP due to it's low damage and it giving massive amounts of awakening charge to opponents.

Also, you may have noticed “Chant Skill” in the description. That will be a very useful mechanic that we'll be talking about later as we progress down the Bluhen path.

[Erst Bohren – Special Active – Projection Skill] Ain enters a stance as you hold the button, and chucks a spear upon release or after enough time has passed. Holding up or down during the stance can have him aim it in different directions. And for a very brief period of time after chucking the spear, you can press the skill key again to teleport to where the spear is mid flight.

Opinion: Not that useful in PvE, but can be useful to kill multiple weak enemies in a row. Gimmicky at best in PvP. Since this is a Bluhen guide, you can completely ignore the “Projection Skill” part of the description.

[Bohren Vereisen – Special Active – Chant Skill] Ain freezes the path in front of him with very long, horizontal magic. Enemies struck by the final hit of this animation are frozen for 5 seconds.

Opinion: VERY USEFUL IN BOTH PVE AND PVP. The ability to freeze mobs and bosses can make it much easier for you and your allies to gang up on foes without fear of being challenged. In PvP, having the ability to completely shut down the ground in front of you is excellent for catching opponents in 1v1s, and can be a godsend for your allies in 2v2s/3v3s. Highly recommended.

And just like [Explosion], the “Chant Skill” part of the description will be talked about later.

[Dritt Stilett – Active – Projection Skill] This move can only be used while being attacked. While attacked, you can use this skill to instantly teleport away from the opponent and are granted the ability to throw 3 small daggers at them upon pressing the skill key again. None of these daggers do any hit stun, and it has a cool down of 30 seconds in PvE, and 3 MINUTES in PvP.

Just like before, ignore the “Projection Skill” part of the description.

Opinion: Obviously a skill meant for PvP. If you're very desperate to not take a combo, you can use this as a single use “get out of jail free” card. But be warned, every character in the game has a skill similar to this, so the same could happen to you as well.

[Sakrosankt Zertreten – Special Active – Projection Skill] Ain constructs a massive magical...thing in front of him (the game refers to it as an armory...) that rains down spears and other weaponry. Has a suction effect like [Explosion].

Yet again, ignore the “Projection Skill” part of the description.

Opinion: Kind of useful in PvE if you need a mob to stay in one spot for a while. Does less damage than you'd think it would, since each individual part of the whole construction has it's own hitbox, which makes it rare for enemies to actually get hit by more than a few things at best. Mostly useless in PvP as it gives massive amounts of MP and Awakening charge to opponents while doing minimal damage. You might also annoy your allies in PvE since it keeps enemies high up in the air, which could make it harder for all of you to reach and kill them. Though against larger bosses, it does do a decent amount of damage.

[Schwert Platzen – Special Active] For 10 seconds, Ain makes himself 30% bigger, alongside providing multiple other buffs such as

1. Resistance to elemental attributes are increased by 150.
2. All attacks will ignore guard status (Such as PvE enemies holding a shield, etc).
3. All commands attacks and actives gain a 25% chance to hit twice.
4. Every command attack you deal will have a mini explosion effect, effectively almost doubling your damage output from them.

Opinion: This move is pretty awesome to be honest. It's excellent in PvE since it increases the size of all of your attacks which allows you to clear rooms much easier. In PvP, it goes without saying that increasing your damage output and resistance to elemental debuffs is a godsend. The size increase is a double edged sword however, as while your attacks are significantly bigger, it also becomes much easier for your opponents to hit you since you are much taller in this state. As such, use with caution in PvP.

[Extreme Heavenly Love] This skill is a weird case as every character in the game has it, but only when they are in a couple (or married) with another player. Upon use, you toss out a pink ball that heals 50% of your HP and MP if you are a couple, or 100% if you are married. It can't be used in PvP, but can be used in sparring oddly enough. Can be used even if you're not playing with your partner, but that just doesn't feel the same, now does it?

Opinion: If you have a special someone playing the game as well, you might as well go through the process of getting this skill. Or you could just marry your friend, but nobody really cares that much about this skill anyway since you could just chug potions. This is especially true for Bluhen, who regenerates so much HP and MP that this skill looks like a joke in comparison to his other options.
Part 5: Lofty: Anpassen and the introduction of Eids.
Congratulations, you have made it to your first Job Change! Now let's examine your new found abilities one step at a time.

This passive is the absolute core of playing Bluhen, and I will explain why.

First things first, all of your skills that dealt physical damage will be converted to magical skills instead. This means [Erst Bohren], [Dritt Stilett], [Sakrosankt Zertreten], and [Schwert Platzen] are now entirely magical attacks.

Second, you will notice a new thing on your HUD. Those are your Eids, and they come in 3 variations.

1. The Red Eid of Courage, aka “Mut”

2. The Yellow Eid of Purity, aka “Rein”

3. And The Blue Eid of Willpower, aka “Wille”

You can create these Eids through landing the final portion of your X – X – X – X combos, and the one you obtain upon landing them are somewhat random. Without directional inputs, the Eid obtained is a random color. Doing the fire blast grants a Red Eid, the wind blast a Yellow Eid, and the ice blast a Blue Eid.

You also get a random Eid by standing completely still for 6 seconds. And by completely still, I mean COMPLETELY still. Don't attack, move, or use a single input to have Ain eventually generate an Eid which is signified by a special animation he performs upon doing so.

Third, your X command attacks also go further when you shoot them. That's pretty rad.

And finally Fourth, when your Power System Gauge is filled, Ain will now activate "Cycle Mode" by default instead of "Creation Mode".

Part 5.1 – Eid Cycle Skills & Edel Eid Skills

Now this is where Ain becomes a tad complex. You may notice that 1 of your Eids are bigger than the other 2 on the HUD. That's because it's your most recent and current Eid.

You may also notice that when you have 3 Eids of the same color, Ain gets a second bigger Eid sparkling behind him and an colored outline on the HUD. That's what the game refers to as an “Edel Eid”, example shown below.

To simplify the upcoming explanations, I will be referring to the Eid Cycle Skills as “Single Eid Skills” and Edel Eid Skills as “Triple Eid Skills”!

Part. 5.2 – Eid Cycle aka “Single Eid” Skills

Now what are “Single Eid” skills? As the name implies, they consume your most recent Eid for an enhancement. Skills such as [Explosion] and [Bohren Vereisen] are examples of “Single Eid” skills. You don't need an Eid to use them, but doing so will grant a benefit based on the color they consume.

For example,

1. Using a Red Eid will increase the damage of the skill by 10%.

2. Using a Yellow Eid will increase the MP gain upon hitting by 2 times, and rolls a 10% chance for you to instantly recover 5% of your HP and MP.

3. Using a Blue Eid will make the skill's hitbox 30% bigger and applies a slowing debuff onto whoever it hits. This “slowing” debuff reduces the opponent's movement, jump, and attack speed all at once by a nondescript amount.

Part 5.3 – Edel Eid aka “Triple Eid” Skills

Upon achieving 3 Eids of the same color, you'll gain the “Triple Eid” status, which alters certain skills DRASTICALLY depending on which color you have a set of. You don't need 3 same colored Eids to use these types of skills, and this is usually referred as “Eid-less”. We will go into much more detail later.
Part 6: Command Attack Changes (Lofty: Anpassen)
(While Dashing) Z – X: After a single sword swing, Ain sweeps the ground in front of him with magic. If the last hit lands, this will cause the magic circle to unleash if the opponent has 3 stacks of “El Dain”.

(While Airborne) X: Instead of charging the magic bullet, Ain will hold a multi hitting magic ball at a downwards angle while staying perfectly still in the air. If you tap Z while holding the ball, you will pop the ball and teleport very rapidly downwards to hit the enemy with a blast of magic. If the enemy has 3 stacks of “El Dain”, the magic blast will unleash the magic circle.

(While doing an aerial dash) X – X – X: The appearance of the spears you toss are different now, and each spear does a stack of “El Dain” upon hitting. As a side note, the hitboxes are the same as the base job's version.

X – X – X – (Up)X & X – X – X – (Down)X: The wind and ice blast won't launch enemies anymore, as they will instead do normal hitstun.
Part 7: Actives and Special Actives (Lofty: Anpassen)

[Eid Weise – Active] Ain twists the air around him to deal damage, and the skill starts a roulette starting on a random color that cycles through Red, Yellow, and Blue in that order every second. Tapping the skill key again will stop the roulette and launches a magic bullet that homes in on whoever is closest to Ain. Stopping the roulette grants you an Eid of the color you stopped on, and changes all of the current Eids you had to that same color as well. You can also stop the roulette while in the air.

Opinion: A somewhat easy way to obtain a Triple Eid. If you struggle with getting 3 of the same color, this will ease the process for you. Pretty fun to use in PvP since the magic bullet can catch people off guard, especially if you use it in the air.

[Angriff – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain jumps forward and holds a gigantic magic ball that sucks in everything in the area. Holding the skill key holds the ball for a little while longer in exchange for more MP. Upon releasing the skill key or after 3 seconds, Ain releases his grip of the ball and explodes it, launching everything within it upwards.

Opinion: Does a surprising amount of damage, considering Ain's supposed to be a support character. The suction part of the hitbox is bigger than you'd expect it to be, sometimes sucking in enemies that you couldn't even see. Somewhat useful in PvP for the suction alone.

NOTE: This skill is a tad quirky as it causes the 10% roulette from using a Yellow Eid to roll 3 times instead of just once if you hold it, giving it a 30% chance for you to get a 5% HP/MP recovery.

[Echo Licht – Active] Ain tosses out a magic ball that returns to him after reaching it's max distance. Creates an Eid in proportion to how many enemies it hits on it's way out. When the ball returns to Ain, it causes a very small explosion surrounding him.

Opinion: Very useful if you need to rapidly make some Eids. Since it functions identically to how a boomerang would, you can toss this out in PvP expecting the opponent to hit you, and catch them off guard when it returns. While very useful, you can survive without it in dungeons.

[Vertiedi – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain causes a gigantic blast of air surrounding him. If he hits something, he will launch 4 small magic balls that chases down everything in the area. If he misses the skill, he won't launch the balls and will instead have 50% of the MP that he used to be refunded to him. The blast of air pushes back even super armored opponents.

Opinion: Doesn't do much damage, but still useful in PvE to catch some hard to reach enemies or for damaging everything in the vicinity quickly. In PvP, it's very useful for chasing down opponents and trapping them in place if it lands.

[Diamant Regen – Special Active - Single Eid Skill] Ain summons 4 magic balls above him, and whips them forward one at a time onto enemies.

Opinion: It's something I guess. Somewhat useful in dungeons if you need to kill a few things in front of you. Somewhat useful in PvP if you just want to land some strong hits. No strong feelings either way for this skill.

[Wind Einfallen – Special Active] Ain launches a magic ball in front of him where it then pops and create a large bubble afterwards. The bubble stays there for 5 seconds before exploding, with the explosion stunning whoever it hits. The bubble does continuous damage to whoever is inside it, with none of those hits dealing any hitstun. Opponents will also have their movement speed cut by 25% while within it, and each hit from within the bubble reduces their elemental resistance by 30, upon to a maximum of 5 stacks. Pressing the skill key again before the 5 seconds pass will make it explode earlier.

Opinion: Very useful in PvP to debilitate the opponent, especially since the magic ball sent out at the beginning of the move homes in on whoever is in front of Ain. In PvE, it's somewhat situational as the elemental resistance debuff can help tremendously against raid bosses, but is completely unnecessary against normal dungeon bosses.

[Blatt Blume – Special Active – Triple Eid] Your first Triple Eid skill! Ain constructs a gigantic bubble at his current location that provides various benefits depending on what color Eid you have 3 of. The bubble always lasts for 10 seconds.

1. Eid-less Blatt Blume aka “Cycle Chant's Transformation”: The bubble will be green and it does a adequate amount of damage to enemies within it over time.

2. Red Blatt Blume aka “Fire of Bravery”: The bubble will be red and you and your allies within the bubble will have their critical damage increased by 10% (5% in PvP). For example, an attack that normally deals 100 damage will deal 150 upon landing a crit, but anyone within the bubble will have that increased to 160 damage, or 155 in PvP.

3. Yellow Blatt Blume aka “Truth of Nature”: The bubble will be yellow and you and your allies within the bubble will have 9% of their HP & MP recovered every second, for 10 seconds. On top of this, all debuffs are cleansed and you'll gain a debuff immunity for 10 seconds as well.

The amount you'll recover is reduced DRASTICALLY in PvP.

4. Blue Blatt Blume aka “Will of Penetration”: You construct a blue bubble that cuts the defenses of all enemies within it by 20%. (15% in PvP).

Opinion: If you're not using this, you're essentially throwing. This skill is incredibly useful as it is the core of who Ain is as a support class and can make dungeon runs much easier for your team as they won't have to worry so much about dying and/or running out of MP. The crit damage boost and the defense reduction are also very appreciated since it can make bulkier bosses easier to deal with in PvE, and can make fighting tanky characters like Chung easier to handle in PvP.

And that's all there is to Lofty: Anpassen. Onwards to his second Job promotion!
Part 8: Passive Abilities (Erbluhen Emotion)

[Inner Growth – Passive] Your max MP is increased from 300 to 400, and the size of your X commands are increased by 40%, making them easier to land. Furthermore, the rate of your power gauge consumption (aka Creation and Cycle mode) are slowed down in proportion to how many Eids you are currently holding.

For example, having 3 Eids regardless or not if they are all of the same color will make it so that it depletes 30% slower, 10% for each Eid you have.

Alongside that, the rate at which your gauge is refilled is increased by 25% for each Eid you're holding. So holding onto 3 Eids as mentioned previously would increase it by 75%.

[Communion – Passive] If you use a Triple Eid skill of a different color than the previous, then the MP requirement is lowered.

For example, using the Yellow variant of [Blatt Blume] after you have previously used the Red, Blue, or Eid-less variant will knock the MP cost from 240 MP down to 204 MP. This encourages you to keep switching things up instead of constantly sticking to your favorite color over and over.

Also, using a Single Eid skill or a Triple Eid skill will reduce the timer of all Triple Eid skills currently on cooldown.

For example, the normal cooldown for [Blatt Blume] is 22 seconds. If you use either a Single Eid or a Triple Eid skill while it's on cooldown, you will reduce [Blatt Blume]'s timer by 25%. This turns the cooldown from 22 seconds to 16.5 seconds. Using more Eid skills will keep reducing this cooldown, meaning you could effectively turn [Blatt Blume]'s cooldown from 22 seconds to 5.5 seconds if you were to immediately use three other Eid skills in a row such as [Bohren Vereisen], [Angriff], and [Vertiedi].

NOTE: The cooldown reduction only applies if these skills actually consume an Eid. Using them without any Eids won't accelerate your cooldowns.

[Proof Eid – Passive] Your critical and maximization stats are both permanently increased by 6%, [Alchimie Eid] can be used without having to commit to the animation at all, and every Eid you consume while awakened will extend the duration of your awakened state in proportion to each Eid consumed. (3 extra seconds for Single Eid skills, 9 extra seconds for Triple Eid skills.)

NOTE: We will be talking about [Alchimie Eid] later on, so don't worry about that right now.
Part 9: Command Attack Changes (Erbluhen Emotion)
Z – X – X – X: Ain swings the sword once, leaps backwards while simultaneously hurling a bunch of magic balls forwards, and leaps forwards with another bunch of magic balls and ends the sequence with a small poke that will unleash the magic circle if the opponent has 3 stacks of “El Dain”. This particular combo does a massive amount of hits, which is useful for triggering enchantment effects.

(While Dashing) Z – Z – Z – X: Ain performs his usual sequence of a sword swing, phasing through the opponent, and slamming the sword down onto the ground with the new addition of him channeling a ball of wind that continuously hits the opponent sucked into it. Each hit from the ball of wind inflicts a stack of “El Dain”, and Ain will be super armored as he is channeling the storm.

(While doing an aerial dash) Z – X – X: Ain swings his sword once and immediately turns around to rain a few magic balls onto the ground behind him. The final ball he tosses will unleash the magic circle if the opponent has 3 stacks of “El Dain”. He can also perform this action during any of the 3 swords swings of his normal aerial dashing Z – Z – Z combo. This combo is useful for when you are trying to retreat from an aggressive opponent, as it can catch them off guard and potentially allow you to start a combo.
Part 10: Actives and Special Actives (Erbluhen Emotion) (1/2)

[Alchimie Eid – Active] Ain twists the air around him to create an attack that does an minuscule amount of damage. Upon activation, the skill key he used to use this skill will change to Red, and will change to Yellow upon pressing it once more, then Blue, and back to Red once again to restart the order. Every time you switch colors, Ain will perform a special animation, and he can only switch colors while staying still on the ground. This ability will last for 30 seconds, and any Eids you generate during this period of time will be “filtered” to the color you have the skill key left on.

For example, pressing the skill key once will start it off on Red. Even if you were to use the wind and ice variants of Ain's X – X – X – X combo, you will still only obtain Red Eids instead of the usual Yellow and Blue respectively.

Also, if you have less than 3 Eids, than activating this skill will instantly give you the max amount of Eids possible. Your Eids will be maxed out even if you were to switch colors, provided that you had less than 3 Eids before switching.

Opinion: YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO USE THIS SKILL. It's all that you will need to manage your Eids competently as it makes the process of controlling what color Eids you want to use whenever you want to use them much less of a hassle.

Also, do you remember that piece of text from the description of [Proof Eid]? That makes it so that you will only have to do the special “switching” animation upon activating the skill and no more afterwards. That means you can switch Eids while dashing, jumping, or doing any other commands! This singlehandedly makes playing Bluhen much more fluid!

[Requiem – Special Active – Triple Eid Skill] Your second Triple Eid skill! This is 4 completely different skills in 1, and the one you use is dependent on what color of you have a set of 3 Eids of.

1. Eid-less Requiem aka “Ultimate El”: Ain summons a portal at an angle behind him that rains down a bunch of magic balls onto the ground surrounding him. It deals an adequate amount of damage and covers an significant amount of space.

2. Red Requiem aka “Foggy Darkness”: Ain constructs a crimson portal in front of him that sucks in nearby enemies and does an incredible amount of damage. After a single second, it collapses in on itself and explodes, launching enemies upwards.

3. Yellow Requiem aka “Lights of Creation”: Ain summons 2 pillars of lightning on both sides of the screen that closes in on him. When the 2 pillars of lightning combine to where he's standing, they'll become one massive pillar of light that explodes and stuns all enemies hit by it for 5 full seconds.

4. Blue Requiem aka “Icy Winds”: Ain summons quite a few blue magical balls around him that turns into homing missiles that chases down everyone and everything in the area. Each hit from these homing missiles applies the “slowing” debuff for 5 seconds. These homing missiles have infinite range in PvE, and is limited to whoever you can see on your screen in PvP.

Opinion: A very, VERY cool skill to have. The Eid-less variant does a massive of damage against enemies that are very wide, but it generally useless 99% of the time.

The Red variant is an easy way to shred apart enemies in front of you and is very useful against bosses in general and opponents in PvP. A pretty good "When in doubt, throw it out." type of skill.

The Yellow variant makes clearing a room filled with enemies very easy if you were to stand in the middle of the crowd. The pillars of light also seem to have infinite vertical range, meaning you could hit enemies that are miles above and below you in dungeons that have tall vertical rooms. Against wide enemies, you could have both pillars hit them at once which would shred bosses near instantly due to the damage output becoming exponentially higher.

And the Blue variant, while not doing as much damage as the others, is an incredibly easy way to clear a room without having to move the character at all. In PvP, you can use this to catch evasive opponents or just to force a combo to start when no other option is going to work. People might hate you for doing that, but oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Part 11: Actives and Special Actives (Erbluhen Emotion) (2/2)

[Edel Lied – Special Active – Triple Eid Skill] Yet another Triple Eid skill! And like before, there are 4 variants.

1. Eid-less Edel Lied aka “El's Domain”: Ain constructs a green sphere in front of him that deals a moderate amount of damage and finishes with a explosion that launches enemies.

2. Red Edel Lied aka “Tranquil Fury”: Very similar to the Eid-less version, but is red in color and ignores 50% of the enemies' defense stat in PvE, and ignores 25% of it in PvP. It finishes identically to the Eid-less variant as well, but will do normal hitstun instead of launching, allowing you to combo from it.

3. Yellow Edel Lied aka “Judgement of Justice”: Ain summons a very long chain of yellow spheres in the air in front of him that rains downwards. Each sphere will continuously do damage until it reaches the ground. This attack is very similar to [Diamant Regen], with the main difference being that these spheres fall completely straight downwards as opposed to how the spheres in [Diamant Regen] fall forward at a diagonal angle.

4. Blue Edel Lied aka “Sweeping Chill”: Ain constructs a massive ball of ice in front of him that he soon hurls forward dealing a singular powerful hit to everything in it's path. Enemies hit by it take 5% more damage for 5 seconds from all sources.

Opinion: Highly recommended to take if you want to at least pull some weight in the damage department.

The Eid-less and Red variants are simple in use as heavy damage dealers.

The yellow variant does a relatively low amount of damage to normal sized enemies, but does TREMENDOUSLY LARGE amounts of damage to enemies that wide in size as they'll get hit by 7 to 10 spheres in a row while most targets are only intended to get hit by 2.

The blue variant is useful if you just want to deal a decent amount of damage to a bunch of enemies directly in front of you since the animation is near instant and the hitbox is gigantic.

[Luft Versprengen – Special Active] Ain surrounds himself in winds that deals a very small amount of damage (but no hitstun) to enemies surrounding him every second for 10 seconds. While active, his movement, jump, and attack speed are all increased by 10%.

Opinion: Obviously a PvP oriented skill. Pretty fun to use as it allows you to jet around very quickly around the environment which can surprise opponents who weren't expecting you to suddenly have a massive speed boost. Absolutely useless in PvE unless you really want to go fast a lot.

[Stom Stark – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain sprays the area in front of him with a fan of magic. Enemies hit by it are stunned for 3 seconds. Can only be used while in the air.

Opinion: A very good PvE and PvP skill. It deals a decent amount of damage and is pretty useful in PvP to completely shut down opponents trying to approach you from the ground. You can survive without it in PvE, but not using it in PvP will just make things harder for yourself.

[Ruhig – Active] Ain hurls a magic ball forwards that stays in it's place upon reaching it's max distance and becomes a trap for 10.5 seconds. Creates an Eid in proportion to each enemy it hits on it's way forward. Enemies who touch the trap will take hitstun and have 10 MP burned from them which will then be given to Ain. (Only a maximum of 10 MP is given back to him, regardless if multiple enemies hit it at once.)

Opinion: Very useful in PvP if you want to be a zoner. Useless in PvE as you'll only need [Alchimie Eid] to create and manage Eids.

[Lind Scheinen – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain summons a portal on the ground in front of him that sprays out multiple bubbles of magic upwards.

Opinion: Very useless since it's outclassed damage wise by almost everything else. It also launches enemies very high up into the air, so you'll just make your teammates mad by using it anyway.

[Elfe – Special Active] Ain leaves a trap on the ground that lingers for 10.5 seconds and dashes forward away from it, or backwards if you hold in the opposite direction he's facing. Enemies who step onto the trap are launched slightly upwards into the air and will have multiple small balls of magic chase them down continuously for a few seconds, hitting multiple times with each hit dealing hitstun.

Opinion: Very fun to use in PvP! In combination with [Ruhig], this makes Ain more of a trapping zoner that can shut down multiple areas of the environment, making him an excellent partner in 2v2s. Not very useful in PvE sadly...

[Flame Emotion – HYPER ACTIVE] Ain's hyper active, which is a sort of “super attack” that every character in the game has. He summons a gigantic meteor comprised of green flames that falls onto the ground below him. Like every other hyper active in the game, it has a 3 minute cooldown upon being used, and bringing it into PvP will have it start out already on that 3 minute cooldown.

Opinion: It's pretty much a “nuke the boss for massive amounts of damage” button like every other hyper active in the game. It's very pretty to look at though. You can use it in PvP once enough time has passed, but PvP matches almost never last beyond 2 minutes at most so don't expect to be using it often, if even at all.
Part 12: Passive Abilities - (Transcendent Erbluhen Emotion)

[Awakened Will: Erbluhen Emotion] When Ain enters his awakened state, his Eids are maxed out.

Awakening charge speed is also increased by 30% while awakened.

On top of that, the rate at which his "Cycle mode" gauge depletes is reduced by 50%, effectively doubling it's duration.

Finally, doing an additional air jump while in "Cycle mode" will consume 50% less of the gauge than it normally does, allowing him to do many more air jumps on demand without the fear of rapidly eating up his gauge, which further enhances his mobility options.

[Awakened One] Physical and Magical Attack and Defenses are all increased by 10%. Your base HP is also increased by 10%. Nothing more to it than that.

[Blooming Emotion] The amount of Eids Ain can hold are now increased from 3 to 5! This enables you to rapidly fire out Single Eid Skills right after Triple Eid Skills without having to constantly regenerate new Eids to do so.

Also, Ain now generate Eids passively every 6 seconds without the need to have to stand completely still to do so. You won't generate any new Eids if you already have the max amount.

Finally, the duration the of the “Swaying El Keim” debuff you occasionally deal has it's duration increased from 10 to 15 seconds.

NOTE: I have accidentally avoided explaining what “Swaying El Keim” was. Certain skills such as [Echo Licht], [Wind Einfallen], [Eid Weise], Eid-less [Blatt Blume], Eid-less [Requiem], [Luft Versprengen], [Elfe], and [Stom Stark] all deal this debuff upon hitting.

A single stack of this debuff makes the opponent take 5% more damage from Single & Triple Eid skills, up to a maximum of 3 stacks aka 15%. Unlike “El Dain”, “Swaying El Keim” isn't consumed upon unleashing the magic circle and will stay until it's duration is over.
Part 13: Actives and Special Actives - (Transcendent Erbluhen Emotion)

[Vertrauen Melodie – Special Active] Ain surrounds himself and his allies with a magical protective bubble of wind that provides him and his allies with a 20% increase to their magical attack power and reduces all incoming damage by 20% as well, both for 10 seconds. Both of these buffs are reduced to 10% in PvP. Every ally you buff with this will refund 5 MP back to you, up to a maximum of 15 MP.

Opinion: Do I even need to say it? This skill is essential to playing Bluhen. Your allies will absolutely love the boost to their damage output and bulkiness. Always carry this skill if you want to make things easier for everyone.

[Verschmelzen – Active] Ain surrounds himself and his opponent with a ring that does continuous damage over time for 5 seconds.

When Ain and his opponent are near one another, the ring becomes the “Ring of Restraint” (Green in color) and deals a normal amount of continuous damage that ends with a powerful explosion.

When Ain and his opponent are far away from one another, the ring becomes the “Ring of Agony” (Red in color) and deals significantly higher amounts of damage and explodes when the duration runs out. This explosion is significantly weaker and creates a single Eid of a random color.

Opinion: To make things simple for you, you'll want to stay away from the opponent for the first 4 seconds of this skill to get the higher continuous damage from the “Ring of Agony”, and immediately get close during the final second to get the higher damage from the ending explosion of the “Ring of Restraint”.

Using it in PvP feels like a fun mini game, so go for it if you want to make things a little more entertaining. Obviously not useful in PvE.

[Windhose – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain hurls 2 circulating orbs of wind forwards that sucks in and shreds everything in their path. Upon reaching their max distance, they explode.

Opinion: For a support class, this skill does an absurd amount of damage. Even without a Blue Eid to increase it's size, the orbs are already gigantic and hits most, if not all of it targets anyway. The suction hitbox is also so strong that it forcefully makes enemies take at least the majority of it's hits nearly every time. A very solid skill and I VERY HEAVILY RECOMMEND taking it with you if you want a quick damage dealer. It does less damage in PvP as expected, but it's still an excellent combo finisher since it sends your opponents a mile away from you upon hitting.

[Satz Aurora – Special Active – Triple Eid Skill] Your fourth and final Triple Eid Skill! Like the others, it has 4 variants.

1. Eid-less Satz Aurora aka “Revelation”: Ain constructs a giant field of magic on the ground below him. While he stands upon this field, he will rapidly generate an infinite amount of Eids while simultaneously having super armor.

2. Red Satz Aurora aka “Wrath of The Goddess”: Ain erupts with an explosion that is red in color that deals a tremendous amount of damage to enemies surrounding him. If the enemy he hits has less HP equivalent to 1330% of Ain's magical attack stat (266% in PvP), they are instantly killed regardless of their defenses.

3. Yellow Satz Aurora aka “Echoes of Recovery”: Ain erupts with an explosion that is yellow in color that deals significant damage to enemies surrounding him. Every enemy that he hits will refund 30 MP back to him.

4. Blue Satz Aurora aka “Vibrations of The Cold”: Ain erupts with an explosion that is blue in color that deals an adequate amount of damage to enemies surrounding him. Enemies struck by this explosion are frozen in place for 5 seconds.

Opinion: Absolutely mandatory to use in PvE. The Eid-less variant is incredibly useful to enable yourself to fire Triple Eid Skills back to back without having to worry about having to regenerate new Eids or the boss launching you away from them thanks to the super armor. However, your teammates will expect you to use the blue variant most of the time as the 5 second freeze is a lifesaver in the end game dungeons. If you're running this skill alongside [Bohren Vereisen], you effectively have the ability to force bosses to stay completely still for 10 whole seconds.

And that's all there is to Erbluhen Emotion! Now let's proceed to Ain's third and final class in this path!
Part 14: Command Attack Changes (Bluhen)
(While Dashing) Z – X – X: After sweeping the ground, Ain hurls a magical sphere that burns a little bit of MP from the opponent. The magical sphere hits multiple times and can pierce through multiple enemies in it's path.

(While doing an aerial dash) X – Z: During any of the spear tosses, Ain can detonate the air around him, which is followed by him falling slowly onto the ground. As he falls, Ain can't do any other actions until he touches the ground, making this move rather risky if you're high up in the air.
Part 15: Passive Abilities (Bluhen)

[Shining Presence – Passive] Upon using a Triple Eid Skill, you will grant a 10 second buff to both you and your allies that is dependent on what color you used. This buff is applied to your allies no matter how far away they are from you.

1. Using a Red Triple Eid Skill increases everyone's damage output by 10%.

2. Using a Yellow Triple Eid Skill doubles how much MP everyone generates upon hitting an enemy.

3. Using a Blue Triple Eid Skill increases everyone's movement, jump, and attack speed by 10%.

Also, when you enter Cycle mode, certain stats of your allies are enhanced by 5% across the board. These stats are their Critical Chance, Maximization, Additional Damage, Movement/Jump/Attack speed, damage reduction, Awakening Charge speed, Awakening Duration, and MP recovered upon attacking and being attacked.

Opinion: It goes without saying that this passive ability is REALLY good as you are extremely beneficial to your allies merely by existing. Most of the time your teammates will want you to be spamming Yellow Triple Eid Skills since the MP gain rate being doubled constantly enables all of you to keep spamming your strongest skills without having to chug MP potions 24/7, especially if you use the "Truth of Nature" variant of [Blatt Blume].

[Harmony – Passive] Upon reaching the third stage of your awakening, most debuffs you receive will have their duration cut by 50% as long as you maintain this state.

Furthermore, Single Eid Skills will have their enhancements...enhanced upon using an Eid.

1. Single Eid Skills using a Red Eid will have their damage increased by 20%, instead of 10%.

2. Single Eid Skills using a Yellow Eid will give you a 20% chance to recover 5% of HP and MP, instead of 10%.

3. Single Eid Skills using a Blue Eid will have their hitbox size increased by 50%, instead of 30%.

Opinion: While the entire passive is incredibly useful, the best part is by far the improvement to using Blue Eids. This enables Ain to cover entire rooms with certain skills like [Stom Stark] and [Windhose] if they were to consume an Blue Eid.
Part 16: Actives and Special Actives (Bluhen)

[Finale – HYPER ACTIVE] Ain's second hyper active. Ain instantly a constructs a field of magic on the ground below him that produces three gigantic Eids of each color. He then combines all three of these Eids to create a powerfully sparkling explosion.

Opinion: Just like the previous hyper active, you'll being using this to deal a large amount of damage to bosses. 3 minute cooldown upon being used, and bringing it into PvP has it already start off on that cooldown.

It deals more damage than the previous hyper active, and has a shorter animation. It's simply a straight upgrade.
Part 17: Modded Skills (Bluhen)

[Modded Angriff – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain hurls 4 giant balls of magic forwards. This can also be used while in the air.

Opinion: This does a LOT less damage than the normal version of [Angriff], but it's a lot faster in comparison. While the original could be used for both concentrating mobs to a singular location and for dealing a impressive amount of damage to bosses, this version is meant as a very quick burst option to whatever is in front of you. Either version is good, but I would recommend this version for general use. But it's ultimately up to you to use whichever you want.

[Modded Requiem – Special Active – Triple Eid Skill] Technically your fifth Triple Eid Skill? Like the others, it has 4 variants.

1. Eid-less Modded Requiem aka “Ultimate El”: Ain summons a portal in the air behind him that throws out a single ball of light that explodes upon contact with the ground. Does a significant amount of damage, and generates 3 random Eids upon being used.

2. Red Modded Requiem aka “Darkness”: Ain summons a portal in the air behind him that hurls 3 red orbs onto the ground where he stands. These orbs explode and leave behind fields of darkness where they land, dealing heavy damage and hitstun to enemies on top of them.

3. Yellow Modded Requiem aka “Harmonious Light”: Ain summons a portal in the air behind him that hurls a single ball of electricity where he stands. Upon contact with the ground, the ball splits into 2 and goes in both directions hitting everything along the ground.

4. Blue Modded Requiem aka “Bitter Chill”: Ain summons a portal in the air behind him that hurls a blue gust of wind onto the ground. Upon contact with the ground, the gust of wind transforms into a gigantic field of ice that freezes enemies within it for 5 seconds.

Opinion: You essentially trade the incredible utility of the normal [Requiem] in exchange for the ability to freeze enemies for even longer. The Eid-less and Yellow variant are kind of useless in most situations. The Red variant deals an incredible amount of damage, but only against enemies that are wide enough to be hit by all three of it's fields of darkness and actually stay within them for their entire duration, which is very rare. The Blue variant is what the skill is actually used for most of the time, as using it in combination with [Bohren Vereisen] and the Blue variant of [Satz Aurora] will allow you freeze bosses for 15 whole seconds all by yourself.

NOTE: Bosses can only be frozen 3 times over before they obtain a temporary immunity to being frozen at all after the third time. As such, most people will leave the role of freezing exclusively to you. Make sure to communicate this clearly with your teammates.

If you need more information regarding this mechanic, here's a video going into detail about it.

[Modded Ruhig – Active] Ain spawns a ball of magic in front of him that slowly moves forward a small distance. Each hit it deals burns 5 MP, up to a maximum of 50 MP if all 10 of it hits land. Creates an Eid in proportion to each enemy hit.

Opinion: Very useful in PvP as you swap out being a zoner in exchange for something more aggressive. Instead of being a trap that you set out, you can now use it in the middle of combos to extend them as it behaves somewhat like a slow moving bowling ball. Like most of Ain's other active skills, this is much more of a skill meant for PvP than PvE.

[Modded Windhose – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain sets out a field of winds along the ground in front of him. Both him and his allies within this field will have their cooldowns accelerated by 30% within it. This field lasts for 7 seconds.

For example, a skill that has a 10 second cooldown will effectively have a 7 second one, assuming that the user of said skill was in this field for the entire duration.

Furthermore, enemies within this field will take continuous damage (but no hitstun) with each hit inflicting the “bleeding” debuff.

Opinion: This is the hardest decision every Bluhen main has to make, as the normal version and this modded variant of the skill are both very good. What this version has over the other is the cooldown acceleration and the very large amount of hits it deals which generates the awakening bead very quickly. If you want to go raw support, use this modded version. The main downside is that it deals much less damage overall, and it will only deal that damage if the enemies even stay within the field for it's full duration to begin with.

NOTE: It's usually a good idea to almost always use a Blue Eid for this skill, just to make it easier for your allies to stay within it.

[Modded Diamant Regen – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Instead of hurling 4 spheres of magic front of him, Ain instead summons 2 of these spheres on both sides of him that will fall straight down onto the ground.

Opinion: Useful in PvE against taller enemies and bosses that would receive multiple hits and therefore more damage than the original version. Useful in PvP to catch unsuspecting people in the air above you to start off a combo. Has overall better damage and better utility.

[Modded Stom Stark – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Instead of tossing out a fan of magic onto the ground in front of him, Ain instead tosses a single large ball of magic. Like the original this stuns for 3 seconds and can only be used while the air, but will also inflict the max amount of stacks of the “Swaying El Keim” debuff onto whoever it hits.

Opinion: It's harder to land and does significantly less damage in exchange for a debuff that you can already apply quite easily to most enemies already. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's ultimately your choice to run it or not.

[Modded Lind Scheinen – Special Active – Single Eid Skill] Ain surrounds himself with 5 spheres that constantly rotates around his body and deals an incredible amount of damage to enemies right next to him. Alongside that, each rotation of the spheres around him hits multiple times with each hit doing hitstun. Each sphere will hit for a maximum amount of 6 times before exploding. Lasts for roughly 5 seconds.

Opinion: I really like this skill. As long as you stay glued to the enemy, the entire skill shreds through their HP very quickly. Since the original version is extremely bad, running this modded version is simply a straight upgrade the vast majority of the time. It's also somewhat useful in PvP since it discourages close range characters like Raven and Elesis from engaging with you, which can give you some valuable breathing room.
Part 18: Master Class Skill (Bluhen)
Like every other character in the game, Ain obtains access to a skill upon reaching the mastered version of his class. To make this segment short and sweet, I will just talk about the fourth and final stage of the skill.

[Meister – MASTER SKILL] Ain summons three gigantic Eids of each color in front of him. Each of these Eids will float upwards and explode, leaving behind a trail of dust back onto the ground beneath them.

Opinion: Against wide enemies, this skill is among one of the strongest in the game. Saving it for boss fights is highly recommended due to it's possibly immense damage output, but you can also use it to clear a path in front of you (even though [Windhose] can do that job better and faster).

It's name is also German for “Master”, and it's a master skill. That's pretty funny I suppose.

NOTE: Like every other master skill in the game, this consumes 400 MP upon being used. While this MP cost would be a problem for literally every other character, for Bluhen specifically it's basically a non-existent issue due to his comically high MP regeneration. Feel free to throw it out if you have MP to waste.
Part 19: THE END (But not really.)
And there we go! Those are the absolute basics of what you'll need to know to play Bluhen excellently, and now you can go out and become the cleric that your party needs.

But before we truly end, here are some recommendations for what skills you might like to be running and what gear are best suited for you. This recommended setup will be under the assumption that you are running as a pure support class, so if you want to deviate from this and become a more aggressively inclined “Battle Bluhen”, feel free to do so.

Part 19.1 – Recommended Skill Setup

On the top row, from the order of left to right, the picture shows [Bohren Vereisen], which is used for ground level linear mob clearing and inflicting a 5 second freeze, followed by the modded version of [Windhose] to accelerate the cooldowns of you and your allies, followed by [Alchimie Eid] which is used to manage your Eids, followed by [Edel Lied] which is used for room clearing and general damage options, which is then finished with [Blatt Blume] in the trancendence slot for healing and support options alongside the occasional cooldown reset to possibly have 2 bubbles up at once.

On the bottom row, yet again from the order of left to right, there's [Schwert Platzen] which is used for a variety of reasons but mostly for making the bubble constructed from [Blatt Blume] bigger and easier for allies to stay within, followed by [Vertrauen Melodie] which is used for increasing your allies magical attack power and damage reduction, followed by the modded version of [Angriff] to use as a filler Single Eid Skill to reduce the cooldowns of your Triple Eid skills while being an adequate damage option, followed by [Satz Aurora] which is used for either freezing bosses or for granting yourself super armor, finished with the modded version of [Requiem] in the trancendence slot which is used to inflict yet another 5 second freeze when it's needed.

For the Hyper Active and Master Skill slots, you will obviously be going with [Finale] and [Meister].

Again, you don't have to follow this setup 1:1. You can make your own favorite personal setup that could balance being a Support/DPS hybrid or simply just a DPS build for your own entertainment. There's really no wrong way to play Bluhen.

Part 19.2 – Recommended Gear

In the picture shown, Ain is wearing the “Amethystine Prophecy” gear, specifically the sage green version of it. This version of the armor is labeled as “Support” and the name alone can probably clue you in as to why it's the recommended armor to use for Bluhen.

What makes this armor different from the others is that wearing 2 pieces of it's set will increase the damage of everyone's skills by 10%, and wearing all 4 pieces of the set increases critical damage by 10% for everyone as well. (Attacks would do 60% more damage upon critting instead of 50%, or 80% if they are inside the Red variant of [Blatt Blume] in PvE).

Yet again, you don't have to follow this recommendation and can use the other versions of the Amethystine armor such as the offensively oriented Crimson version, or the defensively oriented Violet version if you so desire.
Part 20: THE END (For real this time.)
And...we're...done! That is most of what you'll need to know to play this incredibly fun character and hopefully you'll enjoy him just as much as I have. Thanks for reading! As a fun [Finale] to this guide, here's a music video made by iNullfy.
