Novgorod Republic

Novgorod Republic is a mod that remakes Novgorod and offers an alternative formation of the Russian state based on the republican values of parliamentarism.

At the moment, the mod is in development , the Novgorod Republic (70%) and the Russian Republic (60%) are ready.

• Trading Companies instead of Merchants (With the advent of the Global Trade Institute)
  
• Manufacturers instead of Guilds (When the Institute of Manufactures appeared)
  
• Capitalists instead of Manufacturers (With the advent of the Institute of Industrialization)
  
• Enlightened Aristocracy or Reinforced Aristocracy instead of Aristocrats (when adopting political reform).

Also added the ultimate political reform available after 1800, adding new factions of Russia such as:

• Conservatives
  
• Liberals
  
• Reactionaries

Other changes:

• The parliament formation event has been added, which simplifies the issue of seats during the formation of the Republic
  
• The diplomatic interaction with the subjects has been changed, now in order to attach a vassal, it is necessary to change his form of government.
  
• New advisers have been added (Tysyatsky (only for Novgorod), Prince (only for Slavs), Reformer and Educator (appears at the opening of the Enlightenment Institute))
  
• Solutions have been added to search for advisers and by invitation of various experts (administrative, diplomatic and military)
  
• Unique monuments for Russia have been added (Mainly Kremlins)
  
• The stage of the formation of the Russian state for Novgorod has been changed, now it is required to go through the stage of state formation before forming a new republic
  
• Added a wild field in the steppe region, draining troops in underdeveloped steppes

Rebellious Novgorod:
A new catastrophe has been added for the monarchies that conquered Novgorod under the name "Rebellious Novgorod", this catastrophe triggers a civil war in the state, in case of victory of Novgorod, the state returns to the Novgorod Republic.
The effects of the miracle of light called "Five Ends" have been changed, now depending on the level of development of this miracle of light, monarchs receive damage to legitimacy.
The decision to "Destroy Novgorod" has been added, which allows to prevent an impending catastrophe, but at the same time the province of Novgorod is deprived of all development.

Directory:
A new management mechanics of the formed republic called the "Council of Lords" has been added, where power is divided between the governor and his advisers, it is an analogue of the Executive Directory of revolutionary France, with this form of government, the presence of advisers is mandatory since all power is divided between advisers (directors). In the absence of advisers, the state imposes serious fines, as well as the costs of advisers are reduced.

Added new great buildings:

• Veche Palace (analogous to the winter palace for the formed republic)
  
• Kronstadt Fortress
  
• St. Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod.
