I believe the appeal of removing health draw is as follows:
1. Bionic eyes and other such augments can disrupt the appearance of a character and look unnatural - I personally do not like the look, especially on modded races.
2. Big red patches above pawns do not necessarily add to realism, and can instead detract from the look of people. For example, a Warcasket pawn with a gaping wound is unrealistic, and makes you wonder how the metal heals alongside the wound. This is an extreme, I'm sure, but people do generally just like to see their pawns as their pawns without a variety of applied wounds that make them look as if they've been put through a meat grinder.

Why would anyone playing the game normally use this? How are you supposed to tell when your pawns are damaged?
