Conrail GP40 Locomotive

A repaint and slight modification to the Union Pacific GP40 diesel locomotive. Conrail was a United States Class 1 railroad freight company that operated from 1976 to 1999, and was located in the north eastern part of the country. Bought out in 1998 and officially merged with Norfolk Southern and CSX in 1999, their company railcars can still be found with the Conrail Quality logo.

Do not be discouraged by the pieces sticking out from the body, those are on bearings and will return to normal upon removal from the lift.

Controls are simple:

1 and 2 are accelerate and decelerate. Continue to press 2 will go reverse and vice versa.

3 is head lights

4 is bell

5 is horn

6 is rear lights

7 is ditch lights
