very interesting. I'm really into history myself, and yet I never knew that.
The battle of hue was a major military engagement in the tet offensive by the north vietnamese, and the viet-cong, the combined south vietnamese and american troops slowly began to recapture the city. this took one month of intense bloodshed, rounds, and greandes. the battle was the longest and most bloodiest of the entire vietnam war. due to the battle of hue this negatively affected the Average American civilian's portrait of the war.
