In CS:GO we have the option of setting the hand in which the weapon is displayed. We can choose to have the weapon we are holding in the right or left hand, all with one simple command. In some situations it can be really useful - sometimes we lean into a position in which a weapon, e.g. on the right side, can cover a given area with a monkey. For this reason, it is also worth using a special bindu, which you will also find under the commands for changing hands later in this article.

The command for changing hands in csgo is:

cl_righthand

The above command can be set to 0 or 1. If the command is set to 1, our weapon will be in the right hand, and if it is set to 0, the weapon will be displayed in the left hand.

Weapon in the right hand:

cl_righthand 1

Weapons in the left hand:

cl_righthand 0

Bind to change hands CS: GO
We can also create a bind, thanks to which we will be able to change the weapon to the left or right hand with one key on our keyboard. For this we will use bindtoogle, i.e. bind thanks to which we can switch the value of the command from 0 to 1, thus also switching the hand from right to left.

By default, the bind below is set to the CapsLock button - we can freely change it to the key of our choice. However, it is worth remembering not to set the button to important buttons in the game, such as ctrl or shift, because we will not be able to crouch or walk silently. CapsLock seems to be a good choice in this case, as nothing else in the game is set for this button.
