This addon brings electricity to garry mod!


This means you can build your electric grid as you want, you can wire up it just like you want it.

You want to make electric devices, but are not skilled enough in lua to make your own system?
Then this feature is for you!
Just go into the discussion and everything you require is listed there. In case you need help, just ask!



Press E to toggle the generator.
The Generator produces as much power as the grid requires, up to a max of 2.4kW.
Of course, you can use multiple of them on one Grid, but it will first max out the production of one generator, before it will start using the next.
The amount of fuel it consumes scales with the amount of power it has to generate.
Can store up to 60L of fuel.
Wiremod Support
Inputs:
-On. 1 for on, 0 for off.
Outputs:
-Fuel. How much fuel the generator has left.
-Generating. How much power it's generating.

Press E to toggle the lamp.
The lamp will turn off if not enough electricity is in the grid.
Requires: 5-20W
Wiremod Support
Inputs:
-On. 1 for on, 0 for off.

Press E to heal yourself!
Over time it will charge up on health using electricity.
When pressing E this health will be transfered to the player.
Requires 400W.

Its exactly what it sounds like it is!
It has 6 connection points.

It has 4 connection points.
Note: both sides are connected!

Theres also a custom length sTool in Q>Tools>Niums Electricity.

Hold E on it and it will charge your armor.
Requires 200W

Slowly fills up on energy drinks.
Energy drinks boost your speed for 12 seconds.
Requires: 300W

Requires 250 Watts.
Slowly pumps up oil.
Press E to take a barrel full of oil(Only above 4L of oil)
Must be frozen to work, stops work when not frozen.
Can store up to 120L of oil.

Requires 350 Watts
Turns Oil into fuel 20:5.5 Ratio.
Max 125L of oil.

Transforms Energy into damage for electrical fences.
Press E to open UI, more damage requires exponentially more power.

To use, constraint it to the Fence Voltage Transformer, using weld or rope etc.

Produces a maximum of 350W
Has to pointed towards the sun.
The more accurately it's pointed to the sun, the more power it produces!
Has to have clear line of sight to the skybox.
Details: since it checks env_sun it is compatible with stormfox!

Outputs:
-Generating. The amount of power it's generating.

Note
On clientside the wattage updates every second, on the server it only updates every 3 seconds!

Max energy in/out rate of 1kW.
Can store up to 3kWmin

-Energy%. The amount of energy it has, in %.

Connecting a device
Just hold the plug up to the Multisocket and it will snap into place.
Disconnecting a device
Press e on the plug, then pull it out.
Note
You cannot move the Multisocket if something has been plugged into it, unplug everything to be able to move it again.

There will be no next
This addon will soon be replaced by a better one.
An addon better in every way.
It will also be easier to update.
And the nuclear extension for this addon has also been ported to the new one and will release with it.
