Why this mod exists?
With the version changing, the strength of Arcology Project AP has been decreasing.
In order to balance it again, we have tweaked various setting of Ecumenopolis to create this mod designed toenhance the production of advanced resource.



Introduction
This mod significantly adjusts the content related to Ecumenopolis.
Added the Capital Planet.
Added the Ringworld type Arcology World that focuses on industrial production, rare resource production and research.

Features
Ecumenopolis modifications
  • Arcology Project AP is now no longer a pre-requisite for the Ecumenopolis renovation, the pre-requisite is now modified to secondary housing tech (i.e. the pre-requisite for the original soaring).
  • The effect of the Arcology Project AP has been changed to significantly reduce the time required for the Arcology Project, as well as halve the mineral consumption.
  • Arcology Project AP is now used to unlock a new transformation: The Greatest City Project.

Ecumenopolis change
Adjustments to Ecumenopolis modifier.
  • Population cloning speed +50%, population assembly speed +25%

We have made some adjustments to the District provided by Ecumenopolis.
  • No changes: Residential Arcologies, Industrial Arcologies, Foundry Arcologies, Leisure Arcologies, or Administrative Arcologies.
  • Maintenance Arcologies (for Gestalt players). Use to produce unitys, maintenance and suppress perversity.
  • Add Commercial Arcologies (for regular players). Used to provide trade value.
  • New Research Arcologies added to provide research jobs.
  • New Refinery Arcologies added to provide refining jobs.
  • Newly added Nanites Arcologies, used to convert minerals into some special resources.
  • Newly added generation, farming, and mining Arcologies to provide basic resource output.
  • Newly added Fortress Arcologies to provide soldier jobs.
the District provided by Ecumenopolis that can be switched by planetary resolution.

Arcology world
Ecumenopolis + Ringworld

Arcology world combines Ringworld with Urban World.
This new option for Ringworld will provide you with Districts to produce advanced resources, and the special colony types of Arcology world will help you with your industrial production!
  • The District of Arcology world is identical to that of Ideal City, except for the number of jobs and housing provided, which is not discussed here.

Arcology world will have the following effects.
  • +25% resource output, +50% population growth rate, +75% population cloning rate, +50% population assembly rate, 12 initial building slots unlocked and higher carrying capacity (8).

The Arcology world transformation has the same as the Arcologies program, but it requires Ring World technology, secondary housing technology, and also requires the construction of at least five city Districts on the ring.

The Arcology world transformation provides an additional special feature: Metropolitan Axis, which boosts the resource output of the entire sector as well as the output of low and high level occupations at.
  • +5% to resource output, +10% to specialist output, +10% to complex subindividual output

The transformation of the Arcology world will not remove the mysterious power station provided by the origin of the broken ring, it will continue to serve you.

The Greatest City Project
Imperialpolis - The ideal city dedicated to the capital.

Capital Planet - The Imperialpolis has a large number of institutions set up for administration, but is not suitable for ordinary citizens to live in, and she will have the following effects.
  • +5% to national cohesion output, +5% to planetary resource output, +20% to cohesion output, and +50% to administrative capacity for bureaucrat-like occupational output.
  • population growth rate - 500%, population cloning rate - 75%, population assembly rate - 75%.
  • Initially unlocks 12 building slots and a higher carrying capacity (8).

The special Districts of the Imperial City (except for the residential Districts) are various administrative bodies.
  • Residential District: just housing.
  • Ministry of Civil Affairs and Economy: provides 5 finance officer jobs.
  • Ministry of Warfare and Logistic: provides 5 military officer jobs.
  • Ministry of Science and Technology: provides 5 technology officer jobs.
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expansion: provides 5 Diplomatic officer jobs.

Special blocks resulting from Imperial Metropolis renovations would provide similar bonuses to.
  • Imperial Metropolitan Axis: Provides 5 additional blocks with 5 Development Officer occupations, and another Development Officer position for every 25 population.
  • Imperial Central Spire: +5% to planetary resource output, provides several bureaucratic occupations according to empire type, and one more bureaucratic position per certain population.

Each type of bureaucratic produced 2 unity points, with the remaining bonuses as follows.
  • Finance officer: increase energy coins/minerals/food output by 2%, increase consumer goods output by 1%, more planetary comfort, less crime.
  • Military officer: increase fleet cap by 5 points, increase alloy output by 1%.
  • Technology Officer: Increase research speed by 1% of three, increase research point output by 1% of three.
  • Diplomatic Officer: produced 0.1 influence, increase influence output by 0.5%.
  • Development Officer: +1 to planetary housing, +1 to District cap.

ATTENTION.
  • The Greatest City Project can only be used on capitals, and you can only have one imperial city at a time.
  • Avoid moving the capital, there is a risk that when imperialpolis is not capital, it will be deserted!

Compatibility
  • May not be compatible with mods that modify the type of planets.
  • May be incompatible with mods that modify the districts.
  • Apparently does not support achievements.

Localization
only localized for:
  • English: not perfect, still need more adjustment.
  • Chinese: should not be a big problem.

@jasonmhardaway I'd suggest using UI Overhaul Dynamic. Vanilla UI is simply not capable of displaying more than 5 district types.

Forgive what may be a simple question - but in the planet viewer I can only see maybe five district types. Is there a way to scroll through them or do I need another mod to expand the planet view?

一个小建议,第三阶段的时候多给一个选项,就是不选择产业特化,有些mod需要原版的理想城星球类型,这样可以提高一些兼容性
