Overview
An update for RimWorld 1.3 of Cpt.Ohu's Corruption: Psykers
A Warhammer 40k conversion mod. This module includes new psyker powers and traits.

Psychic Disciplines
Psychic abilities are grouped into distinct Disciplines.
Psykers purchase abilities using Psyker-XP, which is gained through using psyker abilities and meditation.
Depending on your psykers power level and allegiance the following Disciplines are available

Imperial Disciplines
Introduction Video

Biomancy
Biomancers specialize in the use of manipulating biological energy and processes.

Abilities
  • Bio-Lightning: Primary damage-dealing ability
  • Blood-Boil: Debuff that increases heart-rate over time
  • Constrict: Choke a pawn
  • Regenerate: Self-Healing ability
  • Seal Wounds: Healing ability for use on others
  • Life-Leech: Debuff that slows down pawns and decreases their targeting capability
  • Haemorrhage: Deals direct bleeding damage

Divination
The art of divination focuses on predicting future events by traversing strands of possibilities in the warp.

Abilities
  • Forewarning: Reduce incoming damage by predicting the future
  • Misfortune: Twist fate so your allies strikes find weak spots in enemy armor
  • Prescience: Increase hit chances
  • Insight: Increase your social impact

Pyromancy
Pyromancers create and manipulate fire by drawing energies from the warp.

Abilities
  • Flame Breath: Damage and set enemies aflame like a dragon
  • Fire Shield: Summon a wall of fire
  • Fire Circle: Summon a circle of fire
  • Molten Beam: A superheated beam that explodes on impact
  • Sunburst: Blind nearby enemies
  • Spontaneous Combustion: Set single enemies aflame

Telekinesis
Telekinesis manipulates the material world with the power of the mind.

Abilities
  • Assail: Projectile-based spell that launches boulders towards a target. May leave behind debris.
  • Crushing Force: Directly damage a target by trying to crush them from afar
  • Gate Of Infinity: Open a portal through the Immaterium to teleport
  • Telekine Dome: Spawn a temporary shield bubble around the psyker
  • Vortex Of Doom: A vortex-based power that crushes anything in its sphere of influence

Telepathy
Telepaths enter and manipulate the minds of others.

Abilities
  • Dominate: Stun your enemies
  • Hallucination: Force a pawn to aimlessly wander, trapped in a hallucination
  • Fortitude: Raise the spirits of your allies
  • Terrify: Cause enemies to flee from a hallucinatory nightmare
  • Puppet Master: Temporarily control an enemy pawn

Chaos Sorcery
Introduction Video

Sorcery of Chaos Undivided
Sorcerers of Chaos Undivided are diviners and summoners of the Dark Gods.

Abilities
  • Doombolt: Projectile-based damage dealer
  • Gift of Chaos: Damage dealer that mutates its targets
  • Single/Mass Mutation: Temporarily let a daemon control a targets body, leaving it stronger but forever mutated
  • Warptime: Slow down time, reducing incoming damage and increasing hit chances
  • Summon Demons: Temporarily summon demons to fight for you

Sorcery of Tzeentch
Sorcerers of Tzeentch are amongst the most powerful psykers in existence, having access to powerful offensive and defensive spells as well as mastery of mutation.

Abilities
  • Bolt of Change: Projectile-based damage dealer that mutates targets
  • Flickering Fire: Set enemies aflame
  • Twisting Path: Stun enemies by inducing a hallucination
  • Firestorm: Vortex-based damage dealer
  • Teleportation: Open a portal through the Immaterium to teleport

Sorcery of Nurgle
Sorcerers of Nurgle are heralds of pestilence and decay, able to unleash the gifts of Nurgle onto the world.

Abilities
  • Plague Wind: Vortex-based spell that induces plague on pawns within its reach
  • Gift of Contagion Vortex-based spell that causes toxic bites on pawns within its reach
  • Weapon Virus: Slowly rot away the weapon an enemy is holding
  • Stench of Pestilence: AoE spell that stuns any enemies around the sorcerer
  • Stream of Corruption: A minor projectile-based spell that causes light damage and adds diseases.

Sorcery of Slaanesh
Sorcerers of Slaanesh are seekers of thrills, manipulators and torturers.

Abilities
  • Acquiescence: Force a pawn to move towards you
  • Choir of Slaanesh: Deafen enemies with a cacaphony
  • Lash of Slaanesh: Damage-dealer
  • Lash of Sumbission: Temporarily control an enemy pawn
  • Hysterical Frenzy: Whip your allies into a frenzy, increasing their damage output

Risks
Casting abilities as a psyker draws attention from the Immaterium. If you are not careful, your psyker will start seeing and hearing things that aren't there as demons gnaw at their consciousness. Eventually, a demon may possess your psyker, leading it unevitably towards death and destruction.

This mod is still WIP. There may be breaking changes during updates. As such, it is recommended to start a new game once an update drops. This will change as the mod moves towards version 1.0.

Mod development is of the Original mod is on hold due to the birth of a child that needs most of Ohu's attention.
with his permission i will be maintaining it for the foreseeable future

you may need to unsubscribe to the original, as this uses the same mod Name and packageId as the original to maintain inter-mod compatability

Here's an idea: How about biotech genes that allow you to genetically make them Psykers? And perhaps the "disaplins" (things like "Nurgle" and such)

Hey, quick question. So I really wanna play with your corruption mods and I keep seeing them in a bunch of collections ppl made so ik they must be really fun. I just wanted to know if this one in particular would clash with "Warhammer 40k - Genes and Psycasts" or would one override the other or is there some form of integration so they can both work together? 🤔

Been there. and learned that your pawn with psycher trait should have a new icon in their action bar "psycher managment" just next to "draft". It opens a menu for Psycher abilities, you get psycher XP for using them, but they cause Pawn to gain corruption and efectively possession.

How to clease outside cheating, debug etc. i dont know.

This must sound like a stupid question, but how do I actually use this mod? I have someone with the psyker trait in my colony, but I don't get how I am meant to actually acquire any powers. Is there supposed to show up some icon or button to press on or what?

So for me it is basicly nothing wich is sadly not a singel case many 40k mods dont work ships does not work well they work 1 time and fly backwards and when bombing they enter the ma drop the bomb and then get stucked

For some reason, my psykers are blocked out from selecting paths from the Psyker Disciplines while I'm using Psycast Expanded
