A quick and easy, handy overview on how to get all Red Bricks in the "The LEGO Movie - Videogame".

[#01] Studs x2

• Location: Bricksburg 🏙
  

• Requirements:
  

  Vitruvious	-
  Wrench	eg: Emmet

• Cost: 250,000
  

• Effect: Multiplies all studs gained by two (STACKS WITH ALL OTHER MULTIPLIERS)
  

Instructions:

Use the secret knock spot by the wall on the building across from the police station. Open it up and head inside. Smash the boxes and build a ledge out of the resulting bricks. Walk across and use the crane. Drop down and fix the crane. An object will be flung to the fountain square.

Head to the fountain square and push the object to the pedestal in front of the fountain. The Red Brick will appear nearby.

[#02] Studs x4

• Location: Old West 🏜
  

• Requirements:

  Grapple Gun / Lasso	eg: Cowboy
  Firestarter	eg: Melt-Robot Wiley

• Cost: 500,000
  

• Effect: Multiplies all studs gained by four (STACKS WITH ALL OTHER MULTIPLIERS)
  

Instructions:

Go to the bank and you'll be tasked with finding three robbers and bringing back each one's gold bar.

1. Use the Secret Knock spot on the saloon.
   
2. Walk around the right side of the sheriff's office and jump up using the roof. Use the grapple point on the outhouse.
   
3. Make your way to the attic of the building where you startled bird #2 (for the Fast Drill Red Brick). Push the box off the ledge and build with the resulting bricks. Light the panel on fire with an explosive or Lady Liberty's torch.

[#03] Studs x6

• Location: Cloud Cuckoo Land 🌈
  

• Requirements:
  
  Laser

  eg: Fem-Bot

• Cost: 1,000,000
  

• Effect: Multiplies all studs gained by six (STACKS WITH ALL OTHER MULTIPLIERS)
  

Instructions:

Destroy the gold wall in the main area with a laser. Inside you'll find an area with three groups of spinnable panels. Spin the panels so that they make a picture matching the nearby object. Each panel will emit a small firework when it's in the correct position.

[#04] Studs x8

• Location: Octan Tower ⛽️
  

• Requirements:
  
  Flying

• Cost: 2,500,000
  

• Effect: Multiplies all studs gained by eight (STACKS WITH ALL OTHER MULTIPLIERS)
  

Instructions:

Locate the upper area with the three usable terminals (as found when going for the Regenerate Hearts Red Brick). One will open the door to a room with a game show wheel in it. Spin the wheel until the Red Brick appears. It took us about a dozen spins so keep at it!

[#05] Studs x10

Requires the game to be completed once before attempting

[#06] Fast Repair

• Location: Bricksburg 🏙
  

• Requirements:

• Cost: 200,000
  

• Effect: Fix regular, broken objects with greater speed
  

Instructions:

Collect 3 Instruction Pages and use the Instruction Build Pad.

[#07] Fast Drill

• Location: Old West 🏜
  

• Requirements:
  

  Uni-Kitty	-

  Drill	eg: Emmet

  Hacker	eg: Benny

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: Drill cracked panels quickly
  

Instructions:

Startle five birds off their perches.

1. Destroy the rainbow blocks in the corral across from the Dispantsery. Build with the resulting bricks to make a butterfly that will startle the nearby bird.
   
2. Make your way to the second floor of the building near the aforementioned corral. Smash the objects inside and build with the resulting bricks. You'll make a steam pipe that will scare the nearby bird.
   
3. Use a female character to climb the bank to the roof. Use a drill on the cracked panel below where the bird is perched.
   
4. Climb to the top of the saloon. Slide down the rope to the roof of the sheriff's building. Hack the terminal up there to pester the bird.
   
5. Blow up the silver crate in front of the church. Build with the bricks and pull the resulting switch. The bird will fly off during the cutscene.

[#08] Fast Build

• Location: Old West 🏜
  

• Requirements:
  
  Extinguisher

  eg: Yeti

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: Put LEGO bricks together at a faster speed
  

Instructions:

One of the buildings is on fire. Use a character with an extinguisher to put out the fires.

[#09] Fast Boomerang

• Location: Cloud Cuckoo Land 🌈
  

• Requirements:
  

  Firestarter	eg: Melt-Robot Wiley
  Uni-Kitty	-
  Explosives	eg: Melt-Robot Wiley
  Hacker	eg: Benny

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: Batarangs and Wonder Woman's tiara are thrown faster
  

Instructions:

Launch three fireworks with the firestarter panels (use explosives or Lady Liberty).

1. Smash the rainbow bricks in the main area. Build with them to create a rainbow ladder. Climb on up to find the firestarter panel.
   
2. Blow up the silver wall in the main area and build with the rainbow bricks inside. Use the resulting rainbow catapult to reach the firestarter panel.
   
3. The final firestarter panel is on the small island you access via the little spaceship that moves back and forth.

[#10] Fast Secret Knock

• Location: Cloud Cuckoo Land 🌈
  

• Requirements:
  

  Agility	eg: Wyldstyle
  Explosives	eg: Melt-Robot Wiley

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: Perform the "Secret Knock" faster
  

Instructions:

Blow up the silver wall in the main area. Just inside is a Master Build Spot you can use to create some stairs. Run up, cross the rope with an agility character (or fly) and you'll find the Red Brick in the room at the top.

[#11] Fast Hack

• Location: Octan Tower ⛽️
  

• Requirements:
  

  Green Lantern	-
  Lord Business	-

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: Hack terminals faster
  

Instructions:

Once you've accessed the room containing the Invincibility Red Brick, head back to the room with the Hub Portal and use Green Lantern to build with the pile of green LEGO bricks. Have Lord/President Business operate the new machine to give him Long Legs. Walk over and hit the red switch on the wall. This will disable the red lasers blocking your way to the Red Brick.

[#12] Gold Instruction Page Detector

• Location: Old West 🏜

• Effect: An onscreen indicator will alert you when you're near a "Gold Instruction Page"

[#14] Pants Detector

Requires the game to be completed once before attempting

• Effect: An onscreen indicator will alert you when you're near a hidden pair of pants
  

Instructions:

Head to the park in the residential area and smash a tree to reveal a Master Builder spot. Use it to build a vehicle out of the two manned stands and archway (make sure you didn't smash them; exit the hub world and return if you did) and the Red Brick will appear.

[#15] Character Studs

• Location: Old West 🏜
  

• Requirements:

• Effect: Enemy characters leave studs when defeated

[#16] Collect Guide Studs

PSA: Collect this red brick as early as possible to get the most use out of it. Once you complete the game, no Guide Studs will appear.

• Effect: Allows you to pick up the green glowing studs that mark the way to the next level
  

Instructions:

Rearrange three Billboards.

[#17] Attract Studs

• Location: Cloud Cuckoo Land 🌈
  

• Requirements:
  

  Grapple Gun / Lasso	eg: Cowboy
  Wrench	eg: Emmet
  Laser	eg: Fem-Bot

• Cost: 600,000
  

• Effect: You don't have to get as close to Studs to collect them (Effectively increasing the range at which you pick up studs around you)
  

Instructions:

Open three Uni-Kitty Jack-in-the-Boxes.

1. Use the grapple point on the giant teacup in the main area to pull it over. Use the wrench on the box that falls out.
   
2. Blow up the silver wall in the main area. The box is on the right.
   
3. Use a laser on the gold wall in the main area. Head over to the area with cluster of spinnable panels. Use the grapple point in this area to open the door to the room with the final box.

[#18] Extra Hearts

• Location: Octan Tower ⛽️
  

• Requirements:
  

  Agility	eg: Wyldstyle
  Grapple Gun / Lasso	eg: Cowboy
  Wrench	eg: Emmet
  Flying	eg: Superman

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: Adds two additional hearts to your health bar
  

Instructions:

Build five grapple points and use them to yank down five signs.

1. Smash the boxes near the Hub Portal for the pieces to the grapple point.
   
2. Head up the stairs from the last one. Use a wrench on the broken blue thing and use the computer to reveal a box. Smash, build, pull.
   
3. In the same room as the last one, use a flying character to reach the second level. You'll find the sign up there.
   
4. Drop back down and head down the hall until you find an agility wall. Climb up and push the box off the ledge. Build the grapple point and pull the sign off the wall.
   
5. It's in the same room as the Invincibility Red Brick.

[#19] Regenerate Hearts

• Location: Octan Tower ⛽️
  

• Requirements:
  

  Uni-Kitty	-
  Laser	eg: Fem-Bot
  Flying	eg: Superman

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: Your health will automatically regenerate, even without collecting hearts
  

Instructions:

Build three dance pads out of rainbow LEGO bricks.

1. In the room with the Hub Portal, blow up the gold bricks near the stairs with a laser. Build with the resulting rainbow bricks.
   
2. Head up the stairs and turn left. Smash a sign on the wall for the rainbow bricks.
   
3. Fly up to the upper level. There are three terminals up here. Operate all three. One of them will release the needed rainbow bricks.

[#20] Invincibility

• Location: Octan Tower ⛽️
  

• Requirements:
  
  Flying

  eg: Superman

• Cost: 100,000
  

• Effect: You cannot be damaged
  

Instructions:

Fly up to the second level of the hallway. Use the terminal to open the door of the room with the Red Brick.
