Mechanical Prosthetics

Description
Sick of your hook hands and peg legs? Visit a friendly (and possible drunken) old man and - with his help and some quality ingredients - get some proper replacements!

FEATURES:
- New Event: An Arm and a Leg!
- New Transformation - kinda: These mechanical replacements are literally exactly as good as your original limbs, and don't do anything fancy. But, hey, you can wield weapons and stuff now!

HOW TO TRIGGER:
Have at least 2 Heartwood and two people with missing limbs.

UPDATES TO COME:
- More dialog variants; wanted to get it out for testing before getting fancy.
- Speaking of getting fancy, a follow-up event where you can further upgrade your limb into something REALLY special.

Please report bugs and layering issues, because I anticipate some will crop up. When you do, please indicate what type of weapon is the culprit.

I've gone 3 campaigns with multiple characters that have missing limbs and haven't come across this event. Is there a way to force the event? Or maybe existing transformations conflict with this mod?

Groovy.

Dude you should consider calling your mod the "Full Metal Alchemist" Prosthetic Limbs mod because the way these prosthetics look and function absolutely reminds me of that Animé LOL!

A question - if I lose an arm, and replace it with these prosthetics. Then later I lose a different arm - that second arm is still missing, I assume - it won't become a prosthetic the way it might with most themes?
What if I then do get a new theme. It will fill the gap of the second arm, but will it also replace the first one I lost, which is now your prosthetic?

just found this event as an assault event and i gotta report: it works like a charm! my previously hook-handed warrior can now hold off-hands and two-handed weapons again! my mystic's foot prosthetic is harder to see under a robe, but it's no issue with the gowns from the extended armors mod.
And finally it is as the commenter Steffy said, when you meet the prosthetics guy in the comic, he doesn't have any prosthetics, making for a very funny series of shots of his very regular arms and legs. Not a gamebreaker tho. https://imgur.com/cjtgtZj
Anyway, good job this is a good mod:steamthumbsup:

Let me know how it goes - this time I actually tested it past "does event give you thing".

For those curious the technical stumble was this: giving myself the theme with debug mode it operated correctly (could hold stuff), the event spawned the theme correctly (and *during the event battle* you could hold stuff), but COMPLETING the battle cleared the internal aspect that removed the maimed hands.

I made it so the arms themselves added that aspect rather than the event, and by all accounts that's cleared it up. Pardon the inconvenience!

What good luck - I got 2 new characters, both missing and arm and a leg each. Time to test this mod out .... again.
