Tri-Rail is a commuter rail service in the state of Florida. It launched in 1989, and runs for a distance of 73.4 miles from Mangonia Park to Miami Airport. Trains are typically formed of one locomotive and three or four coaches. One of these coaches is the cab-car, which is always placed on the northern end of the train. In other words, the locomotive always leads the train when it’s going south.

When Tri-Rail first started, they had a motive power fleet of just five F40PHL-2 locomotives. These were interesting beasts, as they used the bodyshells of ex-BN F45s on the frames of old GP40s. Over the years Tri-Rail added more locomotives types to their fleet, all of which are listed below:

Colorado Railcar DMUs
EMD F40PH
EMD F40PH-2C
EMD GP49H-3
Brookville BL36PH

Engines 807, 808 and 809 - the three featured in this pack - are the F40PH-2Cs. They were built by Morrison-Knudsen in 1992, and remained in service up until 2015.

As for passenger coaches, the system uses both Bombardier and Hyundai-Rotem bi-level cars. Originally they started with just 26 Bombardier coaches, with the Hyundai-Rotem coaches being built in 2010 and 2011. Two years later the BL36PH locomotives arrived on the scene.

Although the F40PH-2C engines had previously been retired, in 2018 they were taken to Progress Rail up in Georgia and heavily rebuilt. The engines re-entered service in late 2020, and are now designated as F40PH-3C. This re-skin pack depicts 807, 808 and 809 as they were in 2014, a few years prior to rebuilding.

I don't see why not. Also, 600 is actually an AC44C4M, not an AC44C6M.
