Description
Updated for 1.35
Have you ever notice that AI would abandon their homeland and try to siege down some random siberia provinces? And sometimes allied to a distant country causing extremely low warscore even though their allies doing basiclly nothing. Well, this mod makes a simple fix.

Attrition rebalance(Maybe not working)
Attrition cap is now 100% instead of 5%. Also increased siege base attrition to 2% so that small country can actually stand a chance against large countries and defensive idea group is a more interesting pick.

AI adjusts
  • AI will value provinces near border much more than vanilla.
  • AI war exhaustion will influence their willingness to peace out much more than vanilla.
  • Full occupation requires 4 months instead of 5 years.
  • War direction will influence willingness more.
  • Occupied homeland will greatly increase AI willingness to surrender.
AI behavior
Generally, AI tends to defend their homeland instead of march thousands of miles to siege down unimportant land. And peacing out is more easier like historically. After all, if you army is destroyed, half of your land is occupied, enemy is making gain, then there is no reason not peacing out.
Compatibility
  • Changes :NDiplomacy, NMilitary and NAI
  • Should be compatible with any mod unless they modify these value for their own reason.
  • Compatible with already started saves.

I can not constantly keep track of that mod. So I do not guarantee compatibility. However, if you load this mod after it, most likely it will be compatible and again no guarantee.

Basically no new function would be added as I have been quite busy. But anything already there should be working and will work until paradox makes breaking change on AI. Generally it would work on most versions including old ones without any modification but I will try to keep version number updated.
