Scythe is one of the best weapon in the game since you have so many choices to punish, fast and has great strings. It also has input, which means you can move your oppenent around with some moves, which makes it great to use for strings or punishes. The scythe legends I recommend using are Mordex and Fait, they both have good stats and amazing signature moves. Or my personal favorite scythe legend, Artemis.

but these are the ones that I personally find the easiest to learn.

If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 7 and do around 42 damage.

𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 (𝗜𝗻𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲) + 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 + 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽

If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 30 and do around 60 damage.

If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 12 and do around 35 damage.

𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 + 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽 + 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗿 (𝗜𝗻𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲) + 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁
If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 20 and do around 35 damage.

𝟯. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀

Scythe has 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀, starting from the amazing Input it has.
𝟏. You can pretty much push your opponent around with it, it's great for strings and punishes.
𝟐. It also has great air control, which means it can easily grab you mid air and start comboing you.
𝟑. It has a lot of strings start ups, which means they can start combos pretty much from everywhere.
𝟒. Because of the weapon and hitbox designs, sometimes depending on the stock color,
it's really hard to dodge.

𝟰. 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀

Even tho scythe is a great weapon, it lacks damage if you cant do long combos. Because of it's low damage compare to other weapons, it struggles finishing people off without signaure moves, most scythe moves don't have a lot of knockback if you aren't low. 𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 spot dodge, if you do, you're just giving your opponent a ticket for a 3 hour long string. Always try to dodge somewhere, even if you can't read his string to dodge it, it's better then waiting until he's done or spot dodging. Most scythe moves don't have a lot of knockback if you aren't low.
