A complete list of who every wrestler in the game is inspired from.

In recent updates certain default wrestlers have been replaced with others. Please let me know in the comments if you know of any. Also, feel free to let me know if any of the information in the Renaming of Unlocking tips sections are no longer correct. Thanks.

Renaming Tips

In this version of the game, there is no typing popup screen like on the Switch or on a smartphone. Also, the cursor is invisible and starts in front of the wrestler's name.

The best way to quickly rename a wrestler, is after you have selected the name field, press CTRL+A on your keyboard to 'select all'. You will not see all the words being selected, but trust me they are. This way you can just start typing the new name without having to repeatedly mash the delete key before hand.

Unlocking Tips

Wrestlers are unlocked when you come across them in career mode. Whether it be in a match, or a backstage cutscene.

One way to force unlock a wrestler is to select the 'Roster' option and pick an unlocked wrestler who has a shadow/locked wrestler behind him or her. Pick any bit of dialogue and afterwards the locked manager or tag team partner (or in some cases, both) will be unlocked.

Playing career mode to the point where you have worked in every company opens up the ability in the options menu to just automatically unlock everyone, except the 3 wrestlers who are in Legends by default. This does not need to be in a single playthrough. Check your Achievements to see where you have already worked.

As of the booking update, you can now unlock the 3 wrestlers in Legends. To do this, just choose one of them to be your booker in Booking Mode. If you want all 3 quickly, just pick one of them, then immediately retire, restart the game, start a new booking career and then select another one of them. Then do it again. (Keep in mind, it's not clear at this point if this is a glitch or an intended function of the game.)

Another way to unlock the secret wrestlers is to highlight one of them in the Editor and press a number on your keyboard. (This will send them to another promotion) Later when you come across one of them in career mode, you will unlock them like normal.

Thanks so much for the list, it makes the game so much better. One quick tip too if you press Ctrl+F you can search for specific wrestlers on the guide, helped me a ton about 50 hours in the game and the roster all mixed up :)
