How to spray ak (using math)

Explanation of how to spray the ak, it's recoil pattern, and it's stats (with no attachments).

Ak recoil pattern

For beginners, the AK recoil can feel extreme. Although there are other weapons like the LR and MP5, the AK is the most powerful in terms of DPS (not including the M249).

AK Stats (According to rust wiki)

Damage: 50
RPM: 450
Range: 250-400 Meters
Ammo Capacity: 30
Mode: Automatic

How to spray AK using math.

The AK's RPM is 450.
Although the wiki and other sources don't say it, the RPS (rounds per second) is 7.5 (450/60 to find the RPS).
This means in 4 seconds of straight spraying you will be out of ammo. Using the image below (all credit for the image goes to Naguide, we can find when the AK horizontal vertical changes. Keep in mind this image is how you should move your mouse during the spray for each shot, it is not the actual recoil you would have to completely flip this image for that. Keep in mind the image has 24 dots because at the end the recoil follows the same pattern that the last part has.


About 4 shots in the horizontal recoil will change it's direction which means 0.5 seconds into the spray the horizontal recoil will go the other direction. 9 shots in, 2 things change. The vertical recoil get's less extreme and the horizontal recoil changes direction again. Again, this happens 1.2 seconds into the spray. On the 15th shot (2 seconds in), the recoil changes direction again, and from here the vertical recoil slowly gets less and less hard to control. Lastly, 20 shots in (2.666 seconds in). The horizontal recoil changes one more time, and the vertical recoil stops decreasing. The last 1.333 seconds of the AK spray is the easiest. Finally, you need to reload, and unless you're behind cover in a firefight and need to reload, you're most likely dead, so GL.

Note: This was actually extremely easy to calculate, but I know like 95% of people will not actually use this, but it was fun to make.
