Basics

➤ Heavy Attacks (holding the attack button all the way until it auto attacks) Restores resources .
⠀⠀⠀⠀➥ Example. Staffs Heavy attacks restore magicka and Sword Heavy attacks restore stamina

➤ Buffs with the same name DO NOT STACK
⠀⠀⠀⠀➥ Example. Buff A's effects is on an set that you are wearing, one of your skills triggers the same effect but instead of expecting it to stack, the skill trigger in reality does nothing

➤ By default, ALL mouse attacks grants ult points while most skills from the skills trees does not unless stated

➤Spell damage effects increases your spell damage but so does your overall resource pool (This applies to most but not all skills)
⠀⠀⠀⠀➥ Example. you equip an item that increases the stats of your magicka. Now any skill that cost magicka, its damage will increase until you remove the item or reset the stats

➤ Light attacks can be done by tapping the left mouse button
➤ Medium attacks can be done by holding the left mouse button but letting go before its fully charged
➤ Heavy attacks can be done by holding the left mouse button until it auto attack

➤ Remember to upgrade your horse daily by going to the stables as well as claim your daily rewards

➤ Make sure you have at least one ability on your bar for each class skill line so they all level at the same time

➤ Always research traits early
⠀⠀⠀⠀➥ they have the little magnifying glass icon at the side

➤ Make sure you do your daily dungeon once you unlock them.

➤ Importantly have fun, play slow and learn the story the first time you play, its great!

Leveling & Gears

Leveling

As you gain experience, you'll earn levels. Every time you level up until level 50, you'll receive Attribute and Skill Points to distribute to your character, however once you hit level 50 you will go into another stage of leveling called CP or Champion levels, which then unlocks the champion system. You can see your current level progress on the top-left of the Character Menu.

Tips :

➤ Active Abilities that can be used on your shortcut bar and activated.

➤ Passive Abilities that are “always on" once purchased.

➤ Ultimate Abilities that are powerful active abilities. You can only have one ultimate ability on your shortcut bar at once.

➤ Every 3 Skyshard grants 1 skill point

➤ Every Zone Story Quest & Main quests grants 1 skill point

➤ Note that Champion Levels are accountwide

Collection Sets

Bind every gear you obtain while leveling, what this does is adds that piece into your collection permanently which then can be used to remake in the future with your current level at that time

➤ Example - I get a set piece of "Gear A" at level 2, i equip it and it will be added into my collection, when i reach CP level 160 i can reconstruct a level CP 160 version of "Gear A".

Reconstructing Gear Sets

To reconstruct a collected set, visit a Transmutation Station and select the Sets menu. From there, you can review your collected items for all the various sets. Once you have the item and set you’re interested in, you can select it to begin the reconstruction.

Reconstructing costs Transmutation Crystals, however, the more items within a set you have collected, the fewer Transmutation Crystals you need to reconstruct an item. You will also need upgrade materials if you wish to upgrade your reconstructed items to a higher quality.

Transmutation Crystals can be obtain through doing dungeons daily, each daily dungeon gives you a lot of experience and rewards that can be claimed in your mail after completing.

➤ 10 Transmutation crystals can be obtained per daily dungeon and 1 Transmutation crystal can be obtain per normal dungeon

Level 1 to 10

Level 3: Crown Fortifying Meal
Level 4: Trifling Glyph of Health (green enchantment), Choose one: Homespun breaches, Rawhide guards, Iron legs (all green quality)
Level 5: Two Green-quality Rings (part of a basic 2-piece Item Set that grants a Max Health bonus)
Level 6: 3 Soul gems, 1 Crown Experience Scroll
Level 7: 500 gold, A Bag Space Upgrade
Level 8: Choose one : Tailor’s Crafting Box / Leatherworker’s Satchel / Blacksmith’s Crafting Crate (Contains Crafting materials)
Level 9: Choose one : Prophet’s Inferno Staff / Greatsword / Shield / Bow /Restoration Staff / Dagger (green quality)
Level 10: Sorrel Horse (account wide)

Level 15: A choice of 6 blue-quality weapons (Prophet’s Inferno Staff / Greatsword / Shield / Bow /Restoration Staff / Dagger)
Level 16: Tailor’s Advanced Crafting Box / Leatherworker’s Advanced Satchel / Blacksmith’s Advanced Crafting Crate
Level 17: Choose one : Slight Glyph of Hardening, Slight Glyph of Absorb Magicka, Slight Glyph of Weapon Damage (blue enchantment)
Level 18: Storage Coffer: Fortified, Choose one (green quality furniture): Imperial Brazier, Spiked / Imperial Bed, Single / Imperial Bookcase, Swirled.
Level 19: 2 Crown Repair Kit
Level 20: A costume from the choice of 3 and a Crown Crate of that season

Level 25: A choice of 6 purple-quality weapons (Prophet’s Maul / Bow / Lightening Staff / Shield / Restoration Staff / Axe)
Level 26: Minor Glyph of Shielding (purple quality)
Level 27: Choice of one: Treasure Map I ( Glenumbra / Stormhaven / Auridon / Grahtwood / Stonefalls / Deshaan)
Level 28: Choice of one: Tailor’s Expert Crafting Box / Leatherworker’s Expert Satchel / Blacksmith’s Expert Crafting Crate
Level 29: Choice of one: Crown Lesson Riding : Speed / Stamina / Capacity
Level 30: 4,000 gold and a Crown Crate of that season

Level 34 Choose one: 80 Crown Lethal Poison, 80 Gold Coast Trapping Poison, 80 Gold Coast Draining Poison
Level 35: A choice of 10 purple-quality crafting-improvement materials – for one of the 3 equipment craft.
Level 36 Cyrodiil Assault crate (10 Siege Repair, 2 Fire Pot Trebs, 2 Rams)
Level 37 Three purple Crown Fortifying meals
Level 38 Choose a Crafting Mats Crate for either cloth, leather, metal, or wood. Contains 10 of the level 36-44 mats plus one style mat.
Level 39 Instant All Research Scroll. Shortens all on-going research by one day.
Level 40: 6,000 gold, “Ragged Style Box” containing the Prisoner’s Rags motif pieces, Also 1 Outfit Change Token.

Level 41 Choice of weapon – (same range as before but blue quality, one piece set.)
Level 42 Choose either 25 Spell caster’s Elixir or 25 Warrior’s Elixir.
Level 43 One Attribute Respec Scroll and one Skill Respec Scroll. (To reset allocation of skills and attributes)
Level 44 Cyrodiil Defence crate – 10 Wall repair, 10 door repair, 2 Fire Ballistas, 2 Oil.
Level 45: An Undaunted Key, Undaunted invitation quest introduction
Level 46 5 Mimic Stones. Choice of 20 level 46-50 crafting mats for either cloth, leather, metal or wood.
Level 47 50 Transmute Crystals. Choice of blue ring, (one piece set) Healthy, Arcane or Robust.
Level 48 Choice of a pair of Purple quality Jewellery Glyphs from either 2 Stam Recovery, 2 Mag Recovery, 2 Phyisical Harm, or 2 Magical Harm Glyphs.
Level 49 One Crown Experience scroll (50% exp boost)
Level 50: 10,000 gold and a Crown Crate of that season

Every champion level grants a skill point to use in the champion system skill tree
Champion Level 10: Veteran Dungeons (Note: You start out at Champion level 10 when reaching level 50 on your first character)

Champion Level 100: Mannimarco Costume
Champion Level 160: Imperial Chancellor Costume

Addons To Add

Elder Scrolls Online also allows addons to be added, don't worry you won't get banned

How To Add Addons?

➤ Once you have chosen and downloaded the addons, make sure you download the required files as well as some addons need other addons to function.

➥⠀⠀1. Download your chosen addon

➥⠀⠀2. Extract the files to a folder on your desktop.

➥⠀⠀3. Open your ESO folder.

If using a PC, the typical default install path is: C:\Users\< username >\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\

Or you can use the windows variable by pasting it into windows explorer: %userprofile%\documents

If using a Macintosh, the typical default install path is: ~/Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/

➥⠀⠀4. In the 'live' folder, create a new folder called AddOns (if it doesn’t already exist)

➥⠀⠀5. Open the AddOns folder

➥⠀⠀6. Copy the files from the folder on your desktop into the AddOns folder

Recommanded Addons

AUI - Advanced UI[www.esoui.com]
➥⠀⠀Gives you a mini map along with useful infomation to your combat stats

SkyShards[www.esoui.com]
➥⠀⠀Gives you the locations of the skyshards (Every 3 collected gives you a skill point)

! Remember to download the addons required for those addons as well !

How To Check If My Addon Is Working?

➥⠀⠀Go in game and press the 'Esc' button/menu find addons and if everything is ticked and not in red, well installed in correctly!

➥⠀⠀The in-game menu also tells you what addons you didnt need if you didnt install it correctly

Seals of Endeavors

Daily Endeavors

Every 24 Hours, 5 new tasks will be given but only 3 can be completed. Once completed, the rewards shown at the right side of each task will be given to your account. Endeavors are account wide

Weekly Endeavors

Every 7 days, 3 new tasks will be given but only 1 can be completed. Once completed, the rewards shown at the right side of each task will be given to your account. Weekly Endeavors are more harder to complete but grants a bigger reward compared to the dailies

Endeavor Store

Once you have collected enough Seals of Endeavors (Which is what the currency is called), you can head over to the Endeavor store to purchase items that would normally be obtainable only via crown crates

To visit the Endeavor store, you can visit the crown store and select the endeavor store tab or visit it through the button at the bottom on the endeavor tasks.(Shown in red arrows)

Your Seals of Endeavors are shown in green arrow.

➤ To Join a guild, Press 'G' in-game and there will be a "guild finder" section!
