𝟭. 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗔𝘅𝗲

Axe is a very 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻 that can damage you a lot in just a couple of hits. It's also a hard hitting weapon, which means it can easily kill you if you don't pay really good attention.
The cause of this is because Axe's attacks cause a lot of knockback that can easily throw you out of the map. If you want to pick an Axe legend to play with but you don't know whichs one, I recommend trying out Ragnir and Barraza, they both have good stats and very strong Axe signature attacks.

Of course there are many more 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 that you can do, but these are the ones that I personally find the easiest to learn.

𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 + 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿
If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 0 and do around 23 damage.

𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 + 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁
If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 0 and do around 25 damage.

𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 + 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽 + 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗿
If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 0 and do around 27 damage.

𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 + 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽 + 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗿
If done correctly, it can have a dodge window of 0 and do around 29 damage.

𝟯. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀

Axe's 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 and 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 are super strong. The 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 covers so much area which makes it super hard to dodge if you're off edge and because of it's high knockback, it makes it almost impossible to survive if you're at orange or red. The 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 is good too since it covers you from every direction, so if someone tries to punish you off edge and you do a recovery, you either push him away or both of you get stunned. Which is better then him punishing you.

𝟰. 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀

Even tho Axe does a lot of damage and has great knockback, it's pretty slow and easily punished.
Axe doesn't have a lot of combos that take long or requires hitting a lot of hits, so some players that play it struggle trying to start their combos over and over again. And at that time you can either 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 move or 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲. Being 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 to them also makes it sometimes hard for them to hit you.
