Compact, Light and Powerful

This mod adds seperate variants of the TRG-21 rifle chambered in 7.62x51 mm NATO, just like the real Tavor 7. It uses normal 7.62 mm NATO magazines like the ones used by the Mk18 and Mk-I EMR. Perfect for when you want a powerful weapon without the weight penalty if you are willing to accept stronger recoil.

Compatibility

All rifles can take any vanilla or CBA compatible 7.62x51 mm M14 magazines and even drums. As for attachments, some mods will work, some don't, I may add more compatiblity in the future (RHS works!)

Language

All weapons are translated to every available language of Arma 3.

Weapon Statistics

The bigger caliber means heavier weight, more recoil and different muzzle velocity compared to the TRG-21 in 5.56. Recoil has been increased tremendously, especially with the TRG-7, because of the light weight. Mass and muzzle velocity values are here:
- TRG-7: 80 Units, 770 m/s
- TRG-8: 90 Units, 850 m/s
- TRG-8 GL: 110 Units, 850 m/s

You did good for what you could, then.

These are appropriate gun specs, by the way, when not using ACE Dispersion extension addon or gun mods with excessively optimistic specs. Yours are very conservative and realistic. If you use SPS, Dagger, KA, NIarms, and ACE Dispersion, though, then these guns obviously are disadvantaged like vanilla guns prior to ACE Dispersion added.

You *might* want to consider a hyper accurate sister addon mod to this one to boost accuracy to match the other mods if you have the ability to do that and want to be included with the other mods with generous accuracy. I am torn between just using only the most conservative mods, which limits the pickings, and just using tons of them with ridiculous specs, further turning down Arma 3 accuracy Game Options, and letting ACE Dispersion even improve the AI enemy accuracy. Some mods need these others seemingly to work at all, but it's a lot of goofy ones out there with like 0.1 or 0.0 MOA :-)

I know I know, but the problem is that i dont know how to make them compatible - modding documentation is pretty much nonexistant, i had to figure out everything myself

Another thing you might want to do is let your mod utilize other mod packs' suppressors, like Project Infinite and some others out there. These default suppressors are HUGE.

Got ya. Since this is a bullpup, 7.62 NATO makes more sense, anyway, since barrel length is not a constraint here. With 300aac you're giving up slight designated marksman capability in order to deal with short barrels on a non-bullpup. With 7.62, we still have subsonics, supers, and specialty rounds to choose from and with benefits from a full 20" barrel.

Very cool. There an .300aac version? Though I suppose with bullpups there's not much point and you might as well just use 7.62.
