Well, I subscribed anyway, fire or no fire. Your spritework is beautiful. I think I first noticed your work with the Genesis resprite. That one was amazing looking!

You are quite right, the goal was to make a noticeable difference from Sacred Heart, focusing on other details of the artifact that will catch your eye. At the same time, I somehow wanted to add a visual relationship between the artifact sprite and its property in the game.
It turned out something like this :) But that doesn't mean I'm not considering adding a little fire ;)

This is really nice too, but it kind of deviates from what the original sprite was depicting. The Immaculate Heart is a religious icon and is always depicted with a flame or a fiery flower coming out of it's top. Still, absolutely gorgeous spritework! I'll bet you were trying to make is distinct from the Sacred Heart.
