This guide will show you the different ores that you will find in the game how much resources that is gathered by mining ores.

With Rust being constantly updated, there may be differences to Gun Damage, Explosive Damage, Item building/crafting costs and possibly newly added content, so the guide will need to be updated.

Introduction :
There are many different types of Ores in Rust. Ores can be found in all different types of Biomes (areas)

Metal Ore Node
Metal ore nodes contain metal ore and high quality metal ore.
Ore Nodes are most commonly found around cliffs, mountains and other rock formations. Due to this they are scarcely found in open fields.

Stone Ore Node
Stone ore nodes contain stones.Ore Nodes are most commonly found around cliffs, mountains and other rock formations. Due to this they are scarcely found in open fields. Hitting the yellow glowing 'hot spot' will speed up the mining process.

Sulfur Ore Node
Sulfur ore nodes contain sulfur that is used to craft explosives and ammo.
Ore Nodes are most commonly found around cliffs, mountains and other rock formations. Due to this they are scarcely found in open fields.
