How to toggle the HUD on and off

The original release of the game had a mod that would replace the heads up display textures with blank ones, but for Remastered I decided to do the same I did for Rivals and make a toggle using 3DMigoto.

Download and Installation

Download the mod through Google Drive[drive.google.com] or NFSMods[nfsmods.xyz]

Unpack the files inside the ZIP file to your game's directory which can be easily found by right-clicking the game in your library and clicking in "Manage -> Browse Local Files".



If you wish to uninstall the mod, simply run the "Uninstall 3DMigoto" BAT file.

In-game utilization

After installing the mod just boot the game and press "Scroll Lock" to toggle the HUD on or off, you can also press the right stick on the Xbox controller to achieve the same result.

Changing the toggle key

If you'd like to change the toggle key from "Scroll Lock" to any other key in your keyboard, open the "d3gx.ini" file located in the game's root directory with Notepad++ or any other text editing software of your choice.



Now go to line №19, there you'll find the text "VK_SCROLL".



Next step is to go to Microsoft's list of virtual keys and find the one you wish to use:

For this example, I'll use the "Tab" key.


Go back to the text editor and replace "VK_SCROLL" with whichever key you chose from the website.



Now just boot the game.

The same applies to the gamepad key, both Xbox inputs and universal controllers are compatible.

Hey I am trying to download this mod but every time I do the game refuses to open.. I even double checked to make sure I'm doing it right too but everttime something is wrong and I have to re-download the entire game

I figured it out! If you take all the contents of the NFSHPR_HUDToggle file and move them to the root folder, it works.

what do you mean by into the game directory just like open the game files and put the files in there

By the way, and this should be obvious, this is for Remastered. It doesn't work on the original release. I say this because I checked your recently played games and you only had the original logged.

I just reinstalled the game and did a fresh install of the mod and everything worked fine. Did you download it off Google Drive or NFSMods?

This mod doesn't work !!!
I put all the files from the zip archive in the root folder of the game, according to the instructions, I changed the button on which you can enable and disable HUD, I start the game, press the button and nothing works, neither in the main menu nor in the race itself, I tried to solve the problem for an hour and nothing worked

Ok i had no idea the loading screen was a part of the hud until i did so and i saw the cars and the map load in, very clever
