Description
National Wonders

This mod reintroduced a previous mechanic from older civ games to Civilization VI, National Wonders!

For versions 1, five new National Wonders have been added to the game. For a full breakdown of the mechanic and a more detailed look at the N. Wonders themselves, see the documentation here![docs.google.com]

Grand Temple:



Unlocks: Civic - Theology
To unlock: Requires that you have converted at least 8 Cities to your Religion

For each Worship building from your religion constructed, all your cities gain an additional 25% Religious spread from adjacent city pressure and 10% further Religious spread range.
  • +2 Faith
  • +1 Amenities
  • Must be built adjacent to a Holy Site district, and you must have founded a Religion.

National College:



Unlocks: Tech - Education
To unlock: Requires that you have completed at least 3 Campus Research Grant projects.

+50% Science in this city. This bonus is lowered by 5% Science for each additional city in your empire (down to a minimum +10% Science).
  • +3 Science
  • +2 Great Scientist Points per turn
  • Must be built on Flat terrain adjacent to a Campus district

Grand Citadel:



Unlocks: Tech - Siege Tactics
To unlock: Requires that you are at War.

Provides the same defensive bonuses as the Fort improvement. +4 Combat strength and +1 Movement for all Ranged and Siege units within 10 tiles. When at War, all Fort improvements gain +2 Production, +1 Science, and +1 Culture.
  • +2 Production, +1 Science, and +1 Culture
  • +2 Great General Points per turn
  • Must be built adjacent to an Encampment district

National Epic:



Unlocks: Civic - Nationalism
To unlock: Requires that you are in a Golden Age.

+20% Great Person Points generated per turn and +1 Production for Great Works of Writing in this city. These bonuses are doubled during a Golden Age.
  • +2 Production, +2 Culture
  • +1 Slots for Great Works of Writing
  • Must be built adjacent to a Theater Square

National Theme Park:



Unlocks: Civic - Mass Media
To unlock: Requires 4 Entertainment Complex or Waterpark districts to have been built in your empire.

Gold and Amenity bonuses extend to all cities within 6 tiles. +5 Tourism to all Entertainment Complex or Waterpark districts within 6 Tiles, this increases to +15 Tourism if adjacent to the National Theme Park.
  • +2 Gold, additional +4 Gold if powered
  • +2 Amenities, additional +2 Amenities if powered
  • Must be built on Flat terrain adjacent to an Entertainment Complex. Requires 4 power

I'm having some trouble understanding the Grand Temple -- Is this saying that if, for instance, you choose the Synagogue for your religion, that you get this bonus for each Synagogue built? Is this just for your empire or does it include other civs? Even if just for your empire, seems like the bonuses here could get pretty out of hand if you are playing wide -- even with only three synagogues you would equal or surpass having both itinerant preachers + religious texts at the same time.

This mod is not working for me. It doesnt let me (or the ai) build any national wonders, even in cases in which I know for a fact I meet the requirements when I try to build them it doesnt let me. When I hover over them in my city production it says "This building requires a National Wonder requirement building."

Would it be possible for you to group "all" your mods int a collection ? Or have several collections for different categories ?

hello, when AI builds the wonder before you, your build stops, and you have to restart. its like " a global wonder" where first player to build cancels build of others, i think it needs fix!

I'm getting an error when loading this in a heavy modded game in regards to the fort improvement

[2127143.465] UpdateDatabase - Loading StrategicForts_Data.sql
[2127143.476] Warning: UpdateDatabase - Error Loading SQL.

The only other mods that would change the fort in any way would be Strategic Forts, and Castles: Better Forts, both of which I know to work together from previous playthoughs.

Could the small edits to forts from this mod be causing a conflict in some way, and if so how could I go about fixing that?

I was building the Great Temple in my Capital when it suddenly stopped building it. When I started again, it did not show as a continued project and it immediately stopped working next turn.
Game version: all DLC + Leader Pass

Grand Temple 25% increase to religous pressure works for me but not the 10% increase (1 tile) in range per worship building
