How to Add more Bots in offline mode and Tweak game Settings

Need more bots than just five, here's how to change that and tweak game play settings like buytime, respawn on death, roundtime hostage, weapons glow on ground, and much more.

How to Add more offline bots

To change the number of bots we first need to open the gamemode_casual.cfg file. To do that press Windows + R to open Run and type notepad followed by ok

Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg and drag the gamemode_casual.cfg file into notepad.

Now that the gamemode_casual.cfg is open look for bot_quota witch should be almost at the beginning of file, and change the number to what ever you want. I entered 16 as that number seems to be the best on most maps, I wouldn't go any higher unless you have a decent processor.

Note: Maximum bot_quota is 20.

Note: Make a backup copy of any cfg file your about to change that includes this one.

When done changing settings press Ctrl + S to save the cfg file.

Tweak Game Play Settings

Since were in the gamemode_casual.cfg why not change some more setting to make the game feel that much more enjoyable, here's what I found to be best playing Hostage.

mp_buytime default 45 changed to 360 six minutes.
Tip: Keep buytime above roundtime as buytime will end before the the round is over. If below round time you'll spawn with auto selected weapons.
mp_roundtime_hostage default 3 changed to 5 five minutes.
mp_startmoney default 1000 changed to 2000 means more money.
Tip: Giving the player more money won't make the bot buy a SMG at the beginning of the match they'll still buy the Pistol.

mp_weapons_glow_on_ground default 0 changed to 1 Weapons glow making it easier to see.
mp_respawn_on_death_t default 0 changed to 1 bots and you will respawn after dying.
mp_respawn_on_death_ct default 0 changed to 1 bots and you will respawn after dying.
Tip: You also can change mp_randomspawn default 0 to 1 so they spawn over the map instead of their starting points when you first start a new game.

Note: When CS GO receives a update, those gamemode_(whatever).cfg files are reset back to their defaults and will need tweaking again, like I stated above backup anything you change.
