STARTING THE VESSEL
Once you've entered the vessel via the forward access hatch in the Torpedo Room, close the access hatch with the button located on the ceiling and proceed aft through the CCP and crew areas to the Reactor Compartment. Just aft of the reactor you will find the reactor controls.

Once at the reactor controls, press the button labeled "Reactor Coolant Pumps" and the button labeled "Start Reactor". This will begin the process of starting the nuclear reactor. Once the buttons are pressed, head forward to the CCP.

After a few minutes the reactor will be fully started and the boiler pressure gauge on the wall in the CCP will start to climb. At this point simply advance the lever labeled "Clutch" and the sub should start to move.

DIVING THE VESSEL
From the CCP, press the button labeled "Toggle Bow Plane Position". This will extend the vessel's bow planes. Then enter the target depth into the keypad labeled "AutoDepth Target" in positive numbers. Then press the buttons labeled "Fill Forward Ballast" and "Fill Aft Ballast". Once both ballast tanks are full, press the "Toggle AutoDepth" button to dive the sub.

SURFACING THE VESSEL
Press the 2 buttons labeled "Empty Forward Ballast Tanks" & "Empty Aft Ballast Tanks", then set the autodepth target for 0 and the sub should surface.

FIRING THE TORPEDOES
From the torpedo room, Turn the key labeled "Fill Torpedo Tube". Once the tube has been filled with water, Turn the key labeled "Tube Hatch". With the hatch open and the tube flooded, press the button labeled "Fire Torpedo". After the Torpedo has been fired, turn the key labeled "Tube Hatch" to close the outer doors & turn the key labeled "Empty Torpedo Tube".

SHIP HISTORY
Built as a direct response to the American USS Nautilus, the 627-Class of submarine was the Soviet Navy's first nuclear powered submarines. Like the USS Nautilus, the Project 627-Class was designed to fill the role of an attack sub, stalking the seas for ships and submarines to sink. NATO named these subs the "November"-Class.

Entering service in 1958, 4 years after the Nautilus, the Poject 627-Class was often used more as PR tools than weapons of war. Shortly after her launch, the lead ship in the class, K-3, became the first Soviet submarine to reach the North Pole. In 1966, a sub of this class completed the Soviet Navy's first submerged circumnavigation of the globe.

Being the Soviet's first generation of nuclear powered subs, they were plagued with problems that often jeopardized the safety of the crew, including several incidents that nearly resulted in nuclear disasters.

In April of 1970, K-8, a November-Class Submarine, had a serious fire on board. As the crew worked to stop the quickly spreading fire, the subs reactors were shut down. After hours of fighting a losing battle against the flames, the captain ordered abandon ship and K-8 sank in the Bay of Biscay off the coast of Spain.

The last Project 627-Class subs were retired in 1990 with the breakup of the Soviet Union.

NOTES
-This is my first attempt at a nuclear powered vessel, so go easy on me.

-For the most part the reactor should manage itself, but in case of emergency, it can be SCRAMed

I see. Still odd that one particular update broke the whole boiler system like that. Anyways, I can't wait to see your new Russian sub once it's out!

Rumble, I had to basically remove almost all of the water from the system. The boiler's water level is at 1% and the aux tank's level is at 5-6%

How did you end up fixing that boiler bursting issue?

Vector_Dan1059, Unfortunately, my function torpedo I used on my Trafalgar-Class will not fit into the torpedo systems on this sub. This update was to fix the broken boiler which was constantly bursting, but I do have a Russian sub with some teeth coming very shortly.
