Accurate Character Select - eyeguy's Character Portraits

Description
Adds the four missing stats to the character select for all characters, adds missing items, fixes spelling errors, and makes stat tallies much more consistent and accurate to the character's actual stats.

This is the Repentance version of the mod! Click here for the Afterbirth+ version.

Note:

Only this mod needs to be enabled for both Accurate Character Stats and eyeguy's Character Portraits to work in game.

I recommend you unsubscribe to the regular version of Accurate Character Stats if you plan on using Eye_Sakk's Character Portraits alongside Accurate Character Stats.

Other Versions

Vanilla Character Portraits

Tainted Names (plus eyeguy's portraits). This one is currently running a slightly older version and is likely to not be updated, as this branch is extremely cumbersome to update and frankly I've lost interest in doing so. Sorry!

Portrait Respruce which is handled by the artist of the portraits. Thanks Fraud!

Changelog:

- Adds a note to the "Who Am I?" screen that displays tallies for Tears, Shot Speed, Range, and Luck stats for each character, and their starting pickups (pennies, bombs, keys, etc.).

- That weird item box thingy now contains a letter to indicate if a starting item is one of four things: P = Passive, A = Active, T = Trinket, O = Pill/Card.

- Bloody Lust and Lucky Foot are no longer missing their y's.

- Character's displayed stats now better reflect their in-game stats.

- Tainted Characters feature more lines to better hint at their perks and downsides.

Special Thanks

A special thanks to eyeguy, who's obviously a huge part of this mod. Thanks for the awesome character portraits!

Another thanks goes to Ryou for letting me steal The Locked's 5 HP tally mark for Azazel's damage!

Another thanks to Sean Bean for requesting the color version of ACS + ESP, which gave me the courage to expand ACS as a whole.

And ANOTHER thanks goes to JR_1414 for giving valuable input on past iterations of ACS.

why does every one of these mods say "nothing is free" ☹️

@Dosecat69 Sadly no, they both edit charactermenu.png and charactermenualt.png so you'd have to manually copy the item icons onto this mod's spritesheets to make them work together

Is compatible with "Item Icons on Character Select"?

Just pushed an update to the mod polishing some stuff. Let me know if I broke anything!

@kittenchilly Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I think that's actually a result of me being a goofball and changing something I shouldn't have.

I can definitely fix that, and will hopefully put something out for that soon™

Can unlockable starting items like D6 showing up even if you haven't unlocked be fixed? Or is it just something that you can't do anything about due to how the mod works.

Updated to be compatible with the newest Repentance patch. Let me know if I broke anything!

@En OST Sorry, I'm taking a look at that mod currently and I'm not sure if I could fix that. Both of our mods edit the same file is where the issue lies, although I think I can *maybe* employ a crazy workaround someday? I might try and look into it at a later point as currently I've got bigger fish to fry in terms of my mods.

This mod is not compatible with the Hit List mod, it would be nice if that was fixed if possible

@Gold_360 Haha yeah I just went ahead and decided to omit it. I think the blanket statement of "I do not intend on making any more versions of the mod" is a better fit since that hopefully stamps out more questions of "can you make X" version.

With each version I have the harder it is to maintain them all, and it's just a hassle doing it anyways. Plus I don't really like having a bunch of mods just be variations of the same thing. I have no issues with people uploading their own variations though.
