Mileu

Just a simple image with MILEU !!!
Because nobody made a wallpaper with "MILEU" or "MILIEU", I decided to made one.

In Romanian dictionary Mileu means: " object of cloth (embroidered) or lace, which sits on a pieace of furniture as an ornament ".
This word was took from french "MILIEU DE TABLE" which means middle of the table and has a different meaning ( piece of decorative tableware, usually made of silver or porcelain and sits in the middle of the table) and it was used to prevent furniture damage from hot cups or food plates. The equivalent word for the Mileu (as the dictionary said) in French is "napperon".

Summary of a Short Story:
The MILEU in my youngest age was made by crocheting with silk or manual processed natural wool.
The ladies put their imagination to the test by crocheting those gorgerous "Mileuri" (plural of Mileu in romanian). Once the "Mileu" was finished, the ladies put it on the CRT TV together with the famous glass fish or on a piece of furniture as an art object that represents the time spent on it and the effort made by them.
