Tasks provide merit and points which are used to buy upgrades and unlock Anvil recipes.

Merit Shop W1

Description	Merit Cost	Tiers	Effects
Inventory Bag is applied to everyone, but only if your 1st character has it	1	5	Inventory Bag B, C, E, F, H, in order
All Blunder Hills Mobs respawn +2% faster. This boosts AFK kills per hour!	1	10	+2% Respawn LVL
+4% EXP Gain for the lowest Leveled Charactter in your family.	1	12	+4% Each Purchase
Boosts Max Lv. to x for 'Goblet of Hemoglobin' Talent. This Helps Survivability	2	10	First Purchase unlocks Talent, +5 Levels Max per Purchase LVL
Bosses can now drop Boss Keys. 4% higher key drop chance per purchase	1	10	4-40% To drop 1 Key, depending on Purchase LVL
Unlocks crafting for Amarok EQ. Requires completing "Such Rock Very Dog Wow 1-5" tasks (Beat W1 boss, Amarok)	2	6	Level 1 Amarok Paws, Level 2 Amarok Hinds. Level 3 Amarok Bodyplate, Level 4 Amarok Helmet, Level 5 Chaotic Amarok Pendant
Higher chance for minibosses in world 1 to drop new Star Talents	3	6	+30% chance per LVL

Order of priority:
1. Get all Amarok EQ that you can
2. Max respawn rate %
3. LVL 1 in Hemogoblin around carrots and LVL 3 when reaching W2
4. Max EXP gain
5. Max Boss keys and at least LVL 1 when you can kill Amarok
6. LVL 1 Talent Book when you can kill Baba Yaga
7. Bags last

Highest priority
1 Steel Axe + Militia Helm
2 Birch Longbow + Thief Hood
3 Quarterstaff + Top Hat

Next priority
11 Dirty Coal Miner Baggy Soot Pants + 20 Gems
10 Hide Shirt + 20 Gems
4 Icing Ironbite + Saucy Logfries

Either after you reach W2 or have the materials/requirements for the item. You will likely be unlocking Anvil tab 2 items before these.

6 Copper Netted Net +Cramped Bug Pouch

All the skill boots should no doubt be higher priority, they offer huge bonuses to efficiency
