Stance Mod Locations - Updated 4/15

A guide on Melee Stance mods. Who drops what, what fits on which weapon, and where to farm.

Farming Locations

Most Tenno know the best place to farm mods is either Defence or Survival missions depending on your tastes. Mobile Defence excellent if you don't want to be stuck in a level for a long time. For the heavier mobs you'll need to hang around Defence mission for 10+ waves before they start spawning, and for Survival it's after 10 / 15 minutes.

Try to bring along a Nekros too, they shorten your farming time by a significant chunk.

One Handed Swords

Includes: Cronus, Dakra Prime, Dark Sword, Ether Sword, Heat Sword, Jaw Sword, Mire, Pangolin Sword, Plasma Sword, Skana, Skana Prime



Iron Phoenix - Grineer - Lancer, Frontier Lancer, Arid Lancer, Hellion, Frontier Hellion, Heavy Gunner
Recommended Location - Cambria / Earth: Survival, Lua / Earth: Defence

Crimson Dervish - Grineer - Bombard
Recommended Location - 10+ minutes on Grineer Survival or 10+ waves in Grineer Defence, Ceres has a fair few spawning in missions too.

Dual Swords / Axes

Includes: Dex Dakra, Dual Cleavers, Dual Ether, Dual Heat Swords, Dual Ichor, Dual Kamas, Dual Skana, Dual Zoren, Nami Skyla



Crossing Snakes - Grineer - Elite Lancer, Elite Frontier Lancer, Elite Arid Lancer
Recommended Location - Grineer missions higher than level 21. They also show up in later levels of defence and survival

Swirling Tiger - Grineer - Scorch, Corpus - Tech, Anti Moa, Warden
Recommended Location - Elara / Jupiter: Survival

Nikanas

Includes: Nikana and Dragon Nikana



Blind Justice - Stalker
Recommended Location - Anywhere the Stalker wants to try to kill you

Decisive Judgement - Grineer - Warden, Heavy Gunner
Recommended Location - ?

Tranquil Cleave - Frontier Butcher, Arid Butcher
Recommended Location - Lua / Earth: Defence, Cambria / Earth: Survival, Kepler / Phobos: Defence
When they say this mod is rare, they mean it.

Single Daggers

Includes: Ceramic Dagger, Dark Dagger, Heat Dagger, Karyst, Sheev



Homing Fang - Infested - Nauseous Crawler
Recommended Location - High level Infested Alerts and Invasions - Survival and Defence

Pointed Wind - Corpus - Shockwave Moa
Recommended Location - Venara / Venus - Defence

Dual Daggers

Includes: Ether Daggers, Fang, Fang Prime



Gnashing Payara - Corpus - Elite Crewman
Recommended Location - Xini / Eris - Defence

Sinking Talon - Corpus - Crewman (Detron) - Juipiter Only
Recommended Location - Jupiter - Corpus missions of your favourite flavour

Machetes

Includes: Kama, Machete, Machete Wrath, Prova, Nami Solo, Prova Vandal



Sundering Weave - Grineer - Trooper, Frontier Trooper, Arid Trooper, Eviscerator, Frontier Eviscerator, Arid Eviscerator
This drops everywhere. If you can't wait for one just trade for one, it'll cost almost nothing

Fist Weapons

Includes: Ankyros, Ankyros Prime, Furax, Mk1-Furax



Seismic Palm - Infested - Leaper
Recommended Location - Dark Sector and Orokin Derelict missions

Fracturing Wind - Infested - Charger
Recommended Location - Dark Sector and Orokin Derelict missions

Sparring Weapons / Hands and Feet

Includes: Kogake, Obex



Grim Fury - Grineer - Power Fist
Recommended Location - Triton / Neptune: Survival

Brutal Tide - Infested - Boiler, Toxic Ancient
Recommended Location - Dark Sector and Orokin Derelict missions

Glaives

Includes: Glaive, Glaive Prime, Halikar, Kestrel



Astral Twilight - Tactical Alert - Overtake
Recommended Location - Tactical Alert - Overtake

Gleaming Talon - Corpus - Leech Osprey, Sapping Osprey
Recommended Location - Xini / Eris : Defence, but seriously? Leech Osprey? How could you be so cruel DE?

Staves

Includes: Amphis, Bo, Bo Prime, Mk1-Bo, Tripedo



Clashing Forest - Orokin - Corrupted Ancient
Recommended Location - Orokin Void missions of your preference

Flailing Branch - Orokin - Corrupted Heavy Gunner, Corruped Bombard
Recommended Location - Orokin Void missions of your preference

Polearms

Includes: Tonbo, Orthos, Orthos Prime, Serro



Shimmering Blight - Grineer - Seeker, Arid Seeker, Frontier Seeker
Recommended Location - Cambria / Earth: Survival, Lua / Earth: Defence

Bleeding Willow - Orokin - Corrupted Moa
Recommended Location - Orokin Void Missions

Whips

Includes: Atterax, Lecta, Scoliac



Burning Wasp - Orokin - Corrupted Lancer, Grineer - Regulator
Recommended Location - Orokin Void missions of your preference

Coiling Viper - Orokin - Corrupted Crewman
Recommended Location - Orokin Void missions of your preference

Scythes

Includes: Ether Reaper, Hate, Reaper Prime



Reaping Spiral - Corpus - Crewman, Power Carrier, Grineer - Power Carrier
Recommended Location - Kappa / Sedna: Mobile Defence, Venera / Venus: Defence

Stalking Fan - Corpus - Sniper Crewman, Nullifier Crewman
Recommended Location - Corpus Missions of at least Level 15

Heavy Blades / Two Handers

Includes: Galatine, Gram, Scindo, Scindo Prime
