My Lore Friendly Modlist

Welcome!
This is the guide for advanced users. There are no instructions for people who have zero skills in modding GTA V. It's a list of mods that I use for GTA V, so read carefully the installation instructions of all mods on their websites. I like lore-friendly cars because most of them are very fast to install, and they have very good quality. I like LSPDFR mod and VisualV too.

Basic Mods

This is the section for basic scripts/mods which are necessary for mods to work properly.

OpenIV:
You will need this program to install mods into the Mods folder.

Script Hook V:
Nothing will work without this.

Simple Trainer:
Fast and simple trainer.

Skip Intro & Legal Messages:
Faster loading. It skips an annoying intro with legal messages.

Gameconfig:
If you will add Vanillaworks Extended, it already contains gameconfig, so you can skip this.

Heap Limit Adjuster:
This is required for gameconfig and Vanillaworks Extended.

Packfile Limit Adjuster:
This is required for gameconfig and Vanillaworks Extended.

Siren Limit Adjuster:
Required if you want to add more emergency vehicles.

LSPD First Response

Now, let's go to install LSPDFR. On LSPDFR website[www.lcpdfr.com] are many more various scripts. You can freely add them. This is the list of scripts which I prefer. I don't want to have many scripts. It prevents crashing, errors, and performance issues.

RAGE PLugin Hook:
Without this, you can't play LSPDFR.

Kifflom Replacement ID Requests:
It replaces that stupid kifflom voice.

Basic Vehicle Actions:
A very good script for turn indicators, turn on/off the car engine, and you can keep vehicle doors open when you exit the car.

Remove Dot Reticle (Simple Crosshair):
If you want to add a little more hardcore to your game, try my mod which removes dot reticle.

Stop the Ped:
Very good script with many functions. For example coroner, animal control, interaction with peds, and many more.

Custom Pullover:
It's the same pullover script that is part of obsolete Traffic Policer Script.

Callouts:
On the LSPDFR website, you can find many callouts, but I use callouts from Bejoijo.

Emergency Uniforms Pack - Law & Order

The mod adds many uniforms for the police department.

EUP:
EUP mod.

EUP Menu:
Menu for EUP. You can change your outfit outside of the police station.

EUP Configuration:
EUP configurations for NPC and player outfit selection. You don't need to use all files.
Just copy all outfits_xxx_eup.xml and inventory_eup.xml from folder custom to
Grand Theft Auto V\lspdfr\data\custom.

Vehicles

Time to add new vehicles to the game. On GTA 5 mods website[www.gta5-mods.com], and other websites you can find many more lore-friendly vehicles. Here is the list of packs which I use.

Vanillaworks Extended:
Really big pack of lore-friendly cars. They spawn in traffic too.

Los Santos Police Department:
Very good pack of vehicles for LSPD with files for LSPDFR integration. Don't forget to read instruction because it needs to overwrite a few lines in vehicles.meta.

Los Santos County Sheriff:
Nice pack of vehicles for LSSD also with files for LSPDFR integration.

Los Santos County Sherif - Extended:
Awesome pack of vehicles for LSSD. It contains cars with custom sirens. For example, Vapid Scout has a rumble siren or retro police cars have old retro siren from the 50s.

San Andreas Highway Patrol:
It's crashing the game during loading :(!
Pack of vehicles for SAHP. It contains many cars and files for LSPDFR integration.

Important note: Instead of putting the stations_sahp xml to lspdfr\data\custom
put it to lspdfr\data\ where the other station xml's are. Otherwise, the game will crash.

Coroner Vehicles Pack:
You can use these vans for coroner from Stop the Ped script.

Game Warden Pack:

The better-looking version of Declasse Granger Park Ranger.

VisualV

Do you want to make the game looks better? Check this! Whenever I saw some graphical mods, they change colors saturation to crazy levels, but this one is a really great mod and zero performance loss of the game.

A little Adjustments

Remove Anamorphic Flare from Headlights:
I don't like anamophic flare on headlights in VisualV. Here are steps how to remove it.

1. Open OpenIV, go to /mods/update/ update.rpf /x64/textures/.
   
2. Open graphics.ytd in OpenIV.
   
3. Extract flare_animorphic texture.
   
4. Make that texture black (I'm using Gimp for it).
   
5. Import black texture to graphics.ytd and overwrite it.

Brighter Lights:
Lights in default GTA V and VisualV are not much bright and my addons cars need brighter lights to make them look a much better. So edit a few lines in visualsettings.dat that is locatated in
/update/ update.rpf /common/data/.

• Indicators:
  car.indicator.day.emissive.on 100.00

• Reverse Light:

• Emergency Lights:

• Smaller Corona - Rotary Light Bar

Alternative you can use Better Radiance[www.lcpdfr.com] or any other emergency lights mod which supports VisualV.

Vanilla Vehicles Emissives Fix (taxi, bus sign, and so on):
This is mod that fix too bright taxi signs, buses sign and other vehicles.

Important note: If you added Vanillaworks Extended, you will fix some vehicles there too. Use OpenIV to find them and look on Google how to fix taxi and bus signs. For example, you can use fix from Better Radiance[www.lcpdfr.com]. Use that fix files for stock cars from GTA V on cars from Vanillaworks Extended, or you can do it on your own. Extract problematic textures of signs and make them dark.

@PupBoy: If you use Vanilla Extedended then you don't need it because Vanilla Extedended change traffic as well. But it looks good for the game without added custom traffic cars.

I highly recommend Sparky's Traffic Overhaul, as well. Mostly to fix the annoying monotone coloured traffic bug.

If you want to use WoV then do not install Vanillaworks Extended. Other mods should be fine.

Any model can spawn in traffic if you add it to your popgroups.ymt and vehiclemodelsets. Thats what VWE uses.

Yeah, but 300+ addon vehicles in my modlist are enough for me :), and I'm not sure if IV Pack can spawn in traffic along with Vanillaworks Extended. Vanillaworks has everything I need.
