Introduction
Hey all,
Have you ever wanted your fire station to have fire coats or fire axe award (the career award) there but you may have downloaded it from other users and it is a custom fire station not based on the ones you get from the library bin and/or default ones on worlds like Twinbrook or Apaloosa Planes?

With this guide I am hoping we can fix that. So lets begin...
Procedure
What you want to do is open the cheat window (ctrl+shift+c) and use the testingcheatsenabled true code and after that the moveobjects on code.
However you will need a active Sim to accomplish this who is employed in the firefighter profession and have him promoted via dragging their performance bar all the way to lvl 6 (Fire Sargeant). This is because you can get the Fire Alarm through "legit" means anyway as its a must have in any new Fire Station and the Fire Truck is on buydebug menu (code buydebug on to activate that) and it will also not work if you try the method I am about to tell you (tested and failed the testing with the truck you get from Fire Chief). However the decorations are a bit more tricky and may require several tries to make them work on the lot.
Now to the reason why you are here in the first place, after you meet this requirements (all necessary cheats enabled and you have the decorations in your Sim inventory you want to place them anywhere in the fire station lot (moveobjects on will allow this and thats the reason why its enabled in the first place). I would rather much prefer a wall where I can easily access it. Next you want to shift+left click on the object and select "clone" from that menu and a new object should pop up if succesfull so now you can place it anywhere you wish to decorate the station and it should save to the Bin when you do so and survive any import to a new neighboorhood (importing was tested and confirmed to be working as expected). Just remember to delete the original object after you cloned it or the game will automatically "delete" it after you save the lot to the Bin (so my advice is clone the object and then delete the original object to avoid this (can use the shift+left click object command again and select the delete option on the object menu). Thus you will need to know clearly where you put the original object in the first place so you can actually delete it. The cloned objects will then work as any community fire station lot decorations (can be used to make copies using the cloning tool in buy mode, moved with the move tool, etc...)
Bonus
Bonus: If you do not know how to place stoves in a fire station lot, simply change it to a residential lot, place the stove and change it back to a fire station community lot. Since Fire Alarm and Fire Truck are career obtainable items they will not vanish if you do so. This is also true with decorations (they should survive lot change to residential lot too).

I hope my little guide helps you build your fire stations

Thanks for the time to read it :)
