JORUNES STAR WARS RPG TABLE + ONE WORLD MAPS

Description
THIS MOD IS MESSED UP DUE TO A WORKSHOP ERROR I WAS GETTING ROM AN ASSET. YOU CAN IMPORT THE 2 MAP BAGS INTO YOUR OWN GAME TABLE THAT HAS ONE WORLD INSTALLED. STILL, MAPS THAT USED ASSETS I UPLOADED WILL NOT EXIST. I DO HAVE A BACKUP OF ALL FILES AND AM WORKING ON A FIX.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED THE MOD, YOU CAN UPLOAD THE ASSETS TO YOUR OWN WORKSHOP AND POST IT FOR YOUR FRIENDS TO USE.

This Workshop is dedicated to all the modders out there whose work is included. There are far too many to mention. Without your assets, I couldn't create these maps. Thank you!

THE JEWEL OF YAVIN MAPS HAVE BEEN ADDED. See bottom of page.

TECHNICAL NOTES:
1. Some assets, especially particle effect ones, need to be made invisible every time you BUILD the map from One World. To do this:
Right Click on the cube
Click on COLOR TINT
In the middle row you will see RGBA columns. In the A field, set the value to zero, click APPLY.
2. Some particle effects assets need to be activated every time you BUILD the map from One World. To do this:
Right Click on the cube
Go to LOOP EFFECT or TRIGGER EFFECT, select one of the numbers.
3. Some maps have problems loading from One World:
*If you click on a map link but do not see the BUILD button on the One World tablet, cycle away from the map once than back to it. The Engine of the Sal Nalaor map has this issue, but so may others from time to time.
* If you BUILD a map but it doesn't finish loading, look up. There is usually a LARGE flat token that looks like a cloud, and you will probably see an asset or two stuck to it.
A. Right click on the stuck asset, click TOGGLE, uncheck LOCK, navigate away, than repeat the steps, except this
time put a check next to LOCK and the asset will usually fall into place. IF that doesn't work...
B. You'll have to use the Gizmo tool and shake the cloud so the asset breaks free and falls into place OR use the
same Gizmo tool, click on the asset(s) that are stuck and slowly lower them to the table. If they don't fall into
place...
C. I've also had success clicking the CLR (clear) button on the One World tablet and clicking build again.
Sometimes 3 or 4 times until it finally loads correctly.
4. All assets live on various cloud storage platforms. When you first load an asset, these items need to be retrieved before they get stored on your HD. So if an asset has been removed from the cloud, you'll end up with a white cube instead of a Sail Barge. You'll have to fix the map on your own, since it's a common problem.

BEYOND THE RIM (Official Adventure)

Act I

*The Wheel exterior
*The Wheel interior - comes in 2 versions:
*FULL VERSION- takes a looooong time to load. You may even think your system has locked up. It hasn't. Takes me 5 minutes to load the map and that's with the assets already on my HD. And there are minutes in there of nothing happening and than suddenly a whole bunch of stuff gets loaded at once. You CAN BUILD this version, than save your game. Than have everyone join your saved game, goes a lot faster. If you try to build this with other players connected, it will probably crash.
*THREE SEPARATE MAPS- all 3 districts present in the FULL VERSION are now broken up into 3 different maps.

IMPORTANT SET UP INSTRUCTIONS:
I've used the in-game tablet to link to an animated space background. To get it to work:
STEP 1: while the map is loading, you will be asked if you want to open a URL file. Select YES.
STEP 2: After the map is fully loaded, you need to go the the GIZMO tool (left-hand side buttons, the 8th from the top). Click it, than select the MOVE tool (the first button). Click on the tablet, hold the green arrow pointing up and RAISE the tablet to clear the table.
STEP3: Bottom-right of the tablet, the hand should switch to a button that says POPOUT. Click it. The youtube page should now fill your screen. Right click anywhere within the video screen and choose LOOP. Select options, set playback speed to .25, click full screen and play. MOVE the tablet back down. You should now have an animated starfield that gives the impression that their are ships in the distance moving about.

*Plaza Apartment (for the initial meeting with Aris Shen. It's meant for the players to enter first person mode and just hangout inside an iconic Cloud City setting. It helps if you change your TTS background to a nice Cloud City view).
*Figg Art Museum
*Landing Pad - I decided my players would find him boarding his yacht. The whole hologram park sounded too gamey to me and too much work to create maps for it).
*Port Town - an abstract version of Port Town. Market Row is here, Vorith's hangars, the four and a half, etc.

I don't like being "that guy", but how'd the re-uploading of the indivudual maps end up panning out?

I'm looking to run Beyond the Rim and this table was massively inspiring, hugely bummed out that the map stuff seems broken.
Appreciate the work that went into this either way! Good work!

Unfortunately I had so much uploaded for Tabletop that I was running out of space (Steam only allows so much). That and the bad file added up (TTS crashing). I'm going to start re-releasing the maps as smaller chunks (separate entries for each individual adventure).

What a pity. There would not be a hosting solution on any other platform, at least for large files (mega, gdoc, onedrive...). It would be a real shame not to share such work anymore.

I'm not even sure what its referencing. I just loaded the table straight off the workshop and whoa, so many assets are missing that it makes the table obsolete. I have everything cached on a local drive, but STEAM only gives me 100GB MAX, and I'm already down to 50GB. I will most likely be removing this in the near future.

hey, thanks for this mod, but y have 1 error with "gm holocron.pdf" on load, do you know how i can repair this (i start on TTS) Thanks

One World has now been fixed. Maps should load (mostly) correctly. Please DM if there are further issues.

Apologies. The current version of One World in my mod is an old one. I have to convert it to the new version. I will make it a priority this weekend.

Good morning,

Your work looks excellent. But I can't load the 3D campaign maps (I was interested in the Beyond The Rim one!).

However, I followed the procedure that you described below, but I cannot find the "NE" button mentioned near the planet Shintar on the galaxy map!

WARNING: the original One World mod that this mod uses is gone. A new version of One World has been uploaded to the workshop, but I need to first convert this mods outdated One World to the new one for this mod to function again. Stay Tuned.

Yup. My RPG group has about 2 sessions to go and we'll finish it. Than I can freshen them up to post. Playing on them helps determine what doesn't work (one of the maps was crashing everyone's game so I had to delete it and rebuild).
