GTA ONLINE - Best Bunker Locations

Nearing 1,500 hours in game this is so far my personal picks of the best locations for the bunkers in GTA Online. I will give a brief run down as to why I choose the specific bunkers and list their pros and ♥♥♥♥ in my opinion. As always it is highly recommended to watch out for discount weeks to purchase any properties.

Introduction:

There are eleven bunkers available to purchase from Maze Bank Foreclosures after receiving an introductory phone call from Agent 14. During the introduction to the bunker after purchase, Agent 14 implies that the gunrunning operation was being run by his government agency but was being shut down and sold as a completely vacant bunker. Agent 14 then proceeds to make a full tour of the bunker with the player, explaining how the facility works.

The Farmhouse Bunker:

Positioned right next to a farmhouse and immediately south of the Bolingbroke Penitentiary. It is the most expensive bunker & is situated closest to the center of the map, so you're automatically going to be taking shorter routes to complete missions.

With the location you have easy access to the freeway to travel North & South. The location is also near the Sandy Shores airfield that allows the user to spawn their personal aircrafts at the airfield and allow you to use aircrafts that randomly spawn at the airfield in the event that you do not own any aircrafts.

Pros:

⭐ Low Traffic Area
⭐ Near Sandy Shores Airfield
⭐ Access to freeways
⭐ Unobstructed air routes
⭐ Close to downtown Los Santos

♥♥♥♥:

⭐ Most expensive bunker property at $2,375,000.00
⭐ Near downtown where most people frequent

Chumash Bunker:

If location is your main deciding factor, then the Chumash Bunker is the way to go. The Chumash Bunker is located in Chumash, which is just north of Banham Canyon. It has easy access to the Great Ocean Highway. It is a short drive from Dell Perro beach and Rockford Hills.

Chumash is really great because it has 3 convenience stores all in the same area, a barbershop and a clothing store. Allowing you to change your appearance, stock up on armor, weapons, ammo and purchase snacks for missions.

While this bunker is not as central as the Farmhouse bunker when it comes to being centrally located on the map, the Chumash Bunker is the absolute closest you'll get to Los Santos. The biggest issue with this property is is arguably the most popular location for other players to run their gun-running ops out of so coming into contact with other players that mean you harm is always a problem.

Pros:

⭐ Not as expensive at $1,650,000.00
⭐ Closest to Los Santos
⭐ Close to Del Perro Beach, desirable real estate, IE CEO office, nightclub, MC business location etc

♥♥♥♥:

⭐ Not the cheapest option in regard to the other options on this list
⭐ Close to other players in downtown area and at this bunker location
⭐ Often times you have to traverse around the huge mountain opposite the location to deliver cargo.

Raton Canyon Bunker:

This is the second cheapest bunker available. This bunker is in an incredibly remote location. There are no towns and virtually zero population in this area. No one will be bothering you here and this was the first bunker I purchased in the start of my time playing GTA Online, before eventually moving to the Chumash bunker and then subsequently migrating recently to the Farmhouse bunker.

The tall mountains around you shield you from opponents, cops, and other attackers. The sheer remoteness is another layer of protection. It’s one of the more perfect places to base your bunker operations.

Pros:

⭐ Second cheapest at $1,450,000.00
⭐ Totally private, desolate location. Lower possibility of attacks
⭐ Central location on the map

♥♥♥♥:

⭐ The remote location can be frustrating to navigate and travel to and from.

Lago Zancudo Bunker:

The Lago Zancudo Bunker is a great choice, sitting just north of the Los Santos County and Blaine County county line. It has similar perks to the Chumash Bunker, with closer proximity to the city than other bunkers but still safely out of range of the higher traffic areas.

It is affordable and it is remote, which makes you safe from attackers. It has the added bonus of being near the airbase, which shields you from excess air traffic. It is relatively close to civilization and is more centrally located than other bunkers and if you own the hangar operation, you have full access to the military base and the aircraft's there for easy access to travel long distances and the location itself is right near the highway.

Pros:

⭐ It is affordable at $1,550,000.00
⭐ Right next to Fort Zancudo military base. Enemy aircraft generally avoid this area.
⭐ Close proximity to Great Ocean Highway.
⭐ The fastest route to Los Santos.
⭐ Less popular, more private bunker.

♥♥♥♥:

⭐ Its Westerly location puts you far out from most gun-running missions on the East and sometimes North coasts.

I'd say forget farmhouse. Everyone has their bunker there. Grape seed an any of the other central choices in sandy are far better. Also, the raton canyon bunker is too isolated.

The only down side is: if you are bad pilot you may have trouble landing there.

Yes, there is. I would place in the highest bunker tier, with Chumash and Farmhouse.
