Portal 2 (Aperture) Reshade

A guide on how to download Aperture preset for Portal 2!

I'm afraid I can't help you with issues you are getting, I just found this preset and wanted to share it with you guys.

Installation

1. Download the Reshade from here[reshade.me] (We will use older versions for some reason)
   
2. Run ReShade_Setup_4.5.1.exe.
   
3. Click Select game to install to or uninstall from.
   
4. Go to portal 2 local files. (\Steam\steamapps\common\Portal 2\bin)
   
5. Select vvis.exe and click open.
   
   
6. Tick the box that says Direct3D 9.
   
   
7. The program will ask you if you want to download a collection of standard effects, click yes.
   
   
8. Make sure everything is selected and press OK.
   
   
9. Close the installer.
   
10. Download Aperture Reshade.zip from my website[cumpatervirus.wordpress.com]
    
11. Place the Aperture.ini and ReShade.ini from this zip into \steamapps\common\Portal 2\
    
12. Place the filmlut.png file into \Portal 2\bin\reshade-shaders\Textures
    
    
    
13. Launch the game, press the home key to open reshade menu, select the aperture reshade preset by pressing the small arrows at the top of the menu
    

Done, you can use the tickboxes to disable / enable effects you want. It is important to keep the LUT tickbox enabled.

lol i don't rly check this guide anymore, just saw the notification. thank u rey, i don't really care if you want to got through all of those sites and download them. i'm not stupid enough to make virus website named computer virus. and I'm sorry, I have no idea why it breaks gmod

First its "cumpoter" and it was a wordpress site. It was just a preset for the Shader. Dont gaslight it without reading correctly uwu

im not installing apeture reshade form "your website" the name of it is littarly "compatervirus"

Why does it break your Gmod ? And it still works fine for me :)

Do you have any idea what the system requirements are? Looks cool and I want to download it but not sure if my laptop can take it
