More Accurate Periscope Sights

Description
Edits the periscope sight to be more useful and (mostly) accurate. Calibrated to my bearing marker mod (not required) and DECAFBAD's Stadimeter mrad mod (also not required). Has a milliradian vertical scale and a degree horizontal scale.

Savegame compatible. Compatible for versions 2025.1+. Will be incompatible with previous versions.

Information on markings:

"/17.45°" refers to the conversion of milliradian to degrees. Useful for the aspect ratio AOB method.

EXTENDED mode only: "x1/x2.5/x10" refers to the sight magnification relative to the lowest level. Useful for manual range calculations e.g. range (km) = (height (m) / mrad) * magnification.

@DarkRaven
Didn't played this game for a while, and I can't remember what is the wide version :)
Now I wanna play it again and I wanna use my old save, if it works. But first I wanna make sure that the mods I used are still working :P

Yes, but I have not updated an error in the texture as of yet. The x10 should be x9.6. Out of curiosity, is there a reason you don't want to use the wide version?

Is this mod working with patch 23?

Haven't been able to check for patch 23. Should still be working though.

@Trihne what Stadimeter mrad mod are you referencing?
Kerberos Sep 29, 2024 @ 4:52am
thx for this mod, i just try it maybe 2 min and i think it works :P But i dont have the the small linie for the viewing direction. this looks like vanilla. and can you pls add the milliradian for the UZO too?
Trihne Sep 11, 2024 @ 1:53pm
Welll I answered my own question... with the Stadimeter mrad mod, the value the stadimeter shows is exactly the same as the sights, 1 mrad is 1 mrad. not the case with hardscope or vanilla
