Rec Royale Guide

This guide will show you dae wae of the Rec Royale.

Basics

In Rec Royale, people fight each other to win, like in Fortnite. Yeah.

Rec Royale contains almost all the weapons of Rec Room:

• Laser AR
  
• Laser Shotgun
  
• Laser Railgun
  
• Laser Launcher
  
• Laser Beam Cannon
  
• Laser Pistol
  
• Paintball Burst AR
  
• Paintball Shotgun
  
• Paintball Pistol
  
• Paintball Sniper

• Paint Thrower
  
• Paintball Mine
  
• Paintball Grenade
  
• Ghostbeard's Pistol (Flintlock)
  
• Blunderbuss
  
• Bow
  
• Crossbow (don't you dare play with this!)
  
• Hunter's Crossbow

You can't dual wield with weapons in this game.

And as every battle royale game, it also contains heal:

• Heal Potion
  
• Shield Potion

The mechanic to revive an ally is shaking hands for 5 seconds, so revive after a battle.
You can have the map whenever you want only if you have a free hand by pulling your trigger in your back.

Screen Mode

In this game, screen mode players have advantages (That's my opinion.) and that includes the fact that you can have a better aim in Rec Royale.
I tested on small and high levels in public and most of VR of them didn't hit me once (Maybe that's because i play scout in TF2 lol).

Anyways, if you want some tips for screen mode players, here it is.

• Always take a Laser AR, because it's automatic and good when you know how to aim.
  
• The Shotgun is destructive too when used properly. Slide when you run to avoid being shot.
  
• Beware of stairs, your enemy can see you going up before you see him, don't ask why.
  
• When you are being attacked or hiding and you're behind a tree or a rock, use third person to see what's going on and take advantage.

Looting

When you land, the first thing you'll do is find a chest, because there is no weapon on the ground.
The color of the chest is only a detail. You can find red ones, green ones and blue ones.
To open a chest, simply put your hand near the handle and pull the trigger for 2 seconds.

There are 5 levels of rarity for weapons:

• Common
  
• Uncommon
  
• Rare
  
• Epic
  
• Legendary

Funny note: The legendary weapons have uniques names. But while the crossbow have a unique name, it's a rare weapon.

Chest loot ammunitions packs too by 2.

Potions have rarity and their size:

• Small (Grey) heals 1/5 of health/shield
  
• Large (Purple) heals 1/2 of health/shield
  
• Full (Orange) heals the totality of health/shield

Swarm (Zone)

The swarm will force you to meet other players, so beware and stay hidden or fight.

When it says "The swarm is preparing...", a white circle appears on the map which is the next safe zone. If you're really far from this zone, you should run.
When it says "The swarm is approaching!", the swarm will reduce to the white circle on the map. It then stay at this location a little before preparing.

Winning

If all remaining players are in one team, this team wins, and all players of the winning team, including those that are at the lobby, are automatically teleported to a new door on the island that leads back to the lobby. There are also a couple of items around the door to celebrate your victory, for example by taking a picture of the winning team with a ham, how fantastic.

Rewards

At the end of the game, you will earn XP (XP boosters are for elite players in battle pass) that, when you take a level, will give you "acorns".
When you have 10 acorns, you rank up in the battle pass and get the reward of the tier (If there is one).
To get Elite items, you have to buy a seasonal Frontier Pass for 1000 tokens by clicking on "Upgrade to Elite" button.

The leveling system of Rec Room.
Seasons do not exist anymore after a decision of Rec Room devs.
