CSGO - The Asiimov Loadout / Inventory

You are fan of the Asiimov skins? Here is a full loadout for you!

Introduction

Hard to name a more iconic CSGO skin than the Asiimov AWP! The Asiimov skin series have had a lot of success over the years and is still very present on the pro scene. If you are a fan of it, here is a full loadout for you!

Asiimov skins have three colors : white, black and orange. In this guide, I focused more on the orange side of it, but I have included alternatives if you want to focus more on the Black and White colors.

Why the Asiimov name?

A bit of culture first!

The skins series Asiimov is named according to a very famous American Sci-Fi author and biochemistry scientist, Isaac Asimov. As the skins are very futuristic looking, it was an easy call to name them that way, with an extra i for copyright purposes I guess.

Isaac Asimov did write amazing books, his main famous being the Robots series and the Foundation series (yes, like the Specialist Gloves | Foundation !). If you like Sci-Fi, I cannot recommend enought these books, they are amazing!

Pistols

Desert Eagle | Mecha Industries

(StatTrak available) Mecha industries are perfect for an Asiimov loadout. If you want more orange, you can add stickers (see stickers section) The higher the float, the whiter the skin.

• Blaze - if you want to flex

Dual Berettas | Panther

(No StatTrak)
Alternatives

• Ventilators
  
• Dezastre - it has quite a futuristic look as well

Five Seven | Nitro

(No StatTrak)
Alternatives:

• Kami - if you want more black and white than orange

• Angry Mob - has some orange in it

Glock-18 | Royal Legion

(StatTrak available) Amazing skin for an Asiimov loadout
Alternatives

• Reactor - more yellow than orange

P2000 | Scorpion

(No StatTrak). not a lot of choice in the P2000 section. The scorpion is somehow a bit orange

P250 | Asiimov

(StatTrak available). The obvious choice. It does not wear easily like other Asiimov skins and looks pretty good in Field Tested for instance.
Alternatives (If you really want not to use an Asiimov skin in an Asiimov loadout)

• Whiteout - look for low floats
  
• Bengal Tiger -Check the pattern to have the best looking one.

R8 Revolver | Nitro

(No StatTrak). Simple Black and orange skin
Alternatives

• Reboot

Tec-9 | Isaac

(StatTrak available). - This is another reference to Isaac Asimov. It does not match the color theme as well as other skins but hey! It looks futuristic and is based on Asiimov as well.

USP-S | Orion

(StatTrak available). Amazing looking skin with orange.
Alternatives

• Road Rash - if you are more in the Black and White style of the Asiimov loadout
  
• Kill Confirmed - has a bit of orange on the back and fits better than you would expect
  
• Cyrex - Futuristic looking as well, but more reddish than orange.

SSG 08 | Threat Detected

(StatTrak available) Do not mind the picture; ingame the scope is really white and the body looks orange as well. The closest thing to an Asiimov SSG yet.
Try to get a low float as it wears very easily though.

Stickers

As you may have noticed, some skins do not have one of the three colors (Black, White or Orange). 
One solution to solve this is to add some stickers! Here is a suggestion of a few stickers that look good with the Asiimov Loadout.

Virtus Pro Stickers

If you have YEKINDARPEEK in your name, c̶h̶a̶n̶g̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶  these logos are for you! They look indeed amazing with Asiimov skins as they got both the orange (same as the skin!), black and white colors.
The RMR 2020 Virtus Pro is currently very cheap and an easy way to improve your Mecha Industries skins for instance.
If you want maximum flex, you can use Kato 14 stickers of course!

Lambda sticker

This one is also great for Asiimov skins, with two essential colors: orange and black.

Please note that the Orange is slightly lighter than Asiimov skins but they still fit very nicely.

Fire stickers

Most stickers involving flames and fire usually fit very nicely with Asiimov skins. Here are a few example:

Black and White stickers

If your skin is mostly orange, you can add some Black and White with some stickers like these:

Gloves

Specialist Gloves | Foundation

This gloves were litterally made for the Asiimov skins series. It is even written in their description: "Rumor has it that Tortue was inspired by the Asiimov line of firearms"

Their name is also a reference to one of the biggest success of Isaac Asimov: the Foundation series (great read!)

Of course, they look amazing with the Asiimov skins because of the Orange and White touchs on the gloves.

However, they have two main issues:

• They wear out very easily: the top grey part easily have dark scratches and the white parts also have scratches. A common annoying wear on Specialist Gloves is the "E" of the Tortue brand that is scratched. I find that Foundation gloves below 0.2 float look good, they however cost much more. If you are OK with a beat up look, these gloves can be really nice for you
  
• They look kind of dull with sleeves when holding a gun. The only orange and white part of the glove when holding a gun is on the wrist (see above picture) and gets masked with sleeves. A wayaround this is to use agents: Lt. Commander Ricksaw | NSWC SEAL (CT) and any Phoenix agent (Enforcer, Soldier or Slingshot) do the job perfectly.

Moto Gloves | POW

These gloves also fit nicely the Orange and White theme of the Asiimov series.

However, they are way more expensive, especially with a good float. Unfortunately, they also wear out quite easily and quickly become yellow/brownish. Their top is also brown and not black. One of their main downside is that they are not really white, but rather of a cream color (though they fit nicely with Mecha Industries skins that way). The lower the float, the whiter they look (but also the more expensive they become....)

Driver Gloves | Black Tie

A new pair of Black and White Gloves from the Broken Fang operation. They look surprisingly good with the Asiimov line of skins. The lower the float, the whiter they get. Their Black and White them fits really well with the colors of the Asiimov, but also with the Mecha Industries in good condition.

If you are more on the Black and White side of the Asiimov skins, these are the gloves for you!
Their main issue is that like other gloves, they wear out easily, especially on the knuckle, which can be a little weird when holding a knife.

Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike

Another pair of gloves from the Broken Fang operation, with nice touchs of Orange that will fit nicely the Asiimov skins.

The orange is a bit dull however compared to the Asiimov one, but much more present than on the Foundation gloves.
Unfortunately, they are crazy expensive right now. Hopefully they will go down in price one day... They wear out also easily and are rather cream than white.

Driver Gloves | King Snake / Snow Leopard

Another option if you are more on the black and white side of the Asiimov series is the Driver Gloves King Snake or Snow Leopard. They look also quite nice with Asiimov skins.

They are unfortunately crazy expensive. Like other Driver gloves, they also wear quite easily on the knuckle . Snow Leopard gloves wear out better, but are more expensive unfortunately.

Knives

Here is a selection of knives for the Asiimov loadout. Unfortunately, there are no knives that fit perfectly well with the Asiimov skins. Here are some options, but in the end, the choice will be up to you.

Fade knives

A low fade knife will have a lot of orange on it and can fit well with the gloves mentionned before.
Butterfly knives especially can look pretty orange with a low fade percentage.

Huntsman knife with a low fade also looks very orange.

Tiger tooh knives

For me they look more yellow than orange but if you like them, they can fit as well an Asiimov loadout.

They pair really well with the Tiger Strike Specialist Gloves as the pattern is similar to the one on the gloves.

Bayonet | Vanilla

For people more on the white spectrum of the Asiimov skins. The vanilla bayonet pair exceptionally well with the Snow Leopard / King Snake gloves.

Black Laminate Knives

They can be nice with the Driver Gloves Black Tie or even Snow Leopard and fit the Asiimov loadout as well.

The higher the float, the darkler they get so try to get a Battle Scarred one!
