Hi-Res TF2 Class Desktop Backgrounds

Links to 9 Official Hi-Res images of the TF2 Classes, and how to install them as desktop backgrounds.

Overview

When Steam Trading Cards were released, these images were added to be used as the steam profile backgrounds, however the full images are availiable to download from steam to use as you want. This short guide will show you how to obtain these images and set them as a desktop background.

Step 1 : Getting the Images

Firstly download them from these links:

• Scout
  
• Soldier
  
• Pyro
  
• Demoman
  
• Heavy
  
• Engineer
  
• Medic
  
• Sniper
  
• Spy

Step 2: Setting a single image background

Setting one of the images as your permanent background is extremely easy:

• Select the desired image file
  
• Right click on the image and choose "Set as desktop background"
  
• Done!

Step 3: Setting a multiple image cycling background

You can also set your background to rotate between the images by following these steps:

• Right click your desktop and choose "Personalise"
  
• Choose "Desktop Background" in the bottom left
  
• Browse and select all of the images (It may be easier to download them all to the same folder), then click "Select all"
  
• Make sure the picture position is set to stretch, change the rotate time to whatever you want, and tick shuffle so you don't get the same cycle of images every time
  
• Click "Save changes" and you are done!
