Preamble

Although other guides are already available for the "Last Victim" achievement, I thought it was possible to make it even more accessible.

Thus, not only you will find screenshots of places to scan, but also the same locations without the scanning view. This way, you will be able to recognize surroundings more easily, and even get help from the radar to precisely locate where the handprints are.

While some screenshots speak for themselves, others however are complemented by captions whether to specify a position or a case.

Chapter 1-3

Back on the ship after the beach sequence, return to the previous room.

• Handprint No.3 - Crew quarters

From the room where you find handprint No.2, keep backtracking till you reach the very first corridor you went through (reminder: we start outside, enter a first room, then into the corridor we're looking for here).


You can now resume your way to the mission objective.

This is the room where you find the crew quarters area key.

Chapter 2-2

On your way to the bridge, you will pass by the room where Jill woke up. Inspect the bathroom.

Chapter 3

Facing the locked emergency communications room.

• Handprint No.11 - Solarium

Small detour: before making your way to the promenade deck, get to the last floor, there you will find the solarium entrance.


Once in front of the swimming pool, on the right is a door locked by a wire puzzle. After entering the room, be sure to activate the purification apparatus; it may have no use for the purpose of the story but it is necessary in order to gain access to another handprint later (and incidentally, another achievement).


You can go back to the main mission goal.

• Handprint No.12 - Hall

Once you get to the hall ground floor, before going to the promenade deck entrance, take a look on the left behind the stairs.

• Handprint No.13 - Promenade deck

In the room previously locked by a padlock chain.

• Handprint No.14 - Promenade deck

In the "café de Louvre" kitchen (on the promenade deck ground floor).

• Handprint No.15 - Foredeck

Going for this handprint now means you have to make a detour, but it will allow you to begin chapter 4 with the reward for finding 15 handprints.
The lifebuoy key you just got allows you to open 2 nearby doors: a single one and a double. Get through the double doors, and activate the lift. Once inside the lift, choose deck. In my opinion, you shouldn't grab the supplies you'll see in the room you get to for now, they will probably be more useful to you when you have to come back later...


End of the detour, you can go back to the promenade deck using the lift, and resume the mission by unlocking and going through the single door .

• Handprint No.16 - Solarium

If you activated the purification apparatus in the previous chapter, the pool is now purified. Get there before going to the casino. Once in the pool, enter the tunnel. You get to choose between three paths. To access the next handprint, take the one on the right and get out of the water.

On your way to the mission objective, you will pass by the room where dummy Chris was. Enter it.

I'll be honest, it's been so long ago that I don't remember. But after a quick web search, it seems that as long as it is on the same save, you can obtain the achievement on your next playthrough just by collecting the ones you're missing.

Did the campaign twice with your guide but didn't got it... I guess you need to get the 30 on one go.
