4K Ground Textures Part 1

4K Ground Textures Conversion - Complete Collection
10 genstande
Beskrivelse
Part 1 of 10 in a complete ground texture 2K to 4K conversion.

--------Description:--------
The complete texture rework is in 10 parts, all available here on the workshop and
converts a total of 362 textures from 2K to 4K adding extra detail in 4K.

The conversion is not just an upscale but adds additional detail to the textures using a high frequency noise pallette which generates the extra detail up close. Make sure terrain detail, texture detail and texture filtering are all to the ultra option to see the effect.

The large detail and colouring is completely faithfull to the original textures as these textures simply add additional detail on top of the original textures.

--------Specifications:--------
Amount of textures converted to 4K: 362
Total size of all 10 parts: 8 GB
Impact on performance: Moderate - GTX 1070 or higher is recommended.
Altered texture types: Normalmaps and Albedo

--------Installation:--------
Simply subscribe to all 10 parts of the mod.
The easiest way to do might be to subscribe to the complete collection as seen above the description.

--------Extras: --------
I recommend using this mod together with my other mod: "Lush Grass Textures"
to make the grass planes and other ground coverage look more realistic as well.

The Ruins of Enduil map also has the checkerboard effect unfortunately. Hopefully you find the time to fix all those issues soon because your work really helps make the game more beautiful!

like Freankh ask, would be great to have a much nicer texture for the environment of the campaign map ! also some stones from the battles are poor in detail compare to your wonderful improvement of the ground !
Thank you for your work it add so much to the esthetic of the battles ;)

I really looks much better in ground textures in battles, and portraits. Is there any mod, to make the campaign map nicer? Thank you.

Brass Keep without a walled settlement is also a checkerboard.

Hi, I noticed that all the ground in Yvresse, be it during the siege or on the battle map all the ground is Black. Can anyone replicate this?

Most maps doesn't have any issues but these I know are impacted by the issue as of now:
------------
Eastern Straits Isle
Witchwood Hollow
Witchwood Glade
Wildwood prison
The silver seal

Seems quite extensive finding all these textures that somehow generate grid paterns on the map. If you find them for me I will gladly correct it but I do not have time to track down every single texture. I've done it on a few now but it takes a lot of time and I don't know why this happened to a few of them in the first place as the upgrade was done by automation.

If you want to help me find faulty textures:
Step 1: Disable every part of this mod and start the map with the issue until the issue disappears, then you know which part it is in.
Enable the part again, now we need to find out the exact texture inside the part mod.

Step 2. Download and run Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM), open the impacted part file located inside warhammer Data folder. Remove textures and re-save the part file until the issue is gone. When the error dissapears you know which texture is causing the issue. Type here and I will manually solve the issue with the texture. Thanks :)
